We came on this for some relaxation after being on vacation for a month. And it gave us what we needed for sure. Gin looked after us very well, the food was delicious. We did the trip to Cat Ba island which was very enjoyable and worth getting up early for.

An absolutely fantastic and unmissable experience when in Vietnam. The luxurious cruise was a highlight of our trip. No stone is unturned with Mon Cheri. The food was beautiful and the service is exceptional. Our service from Gin was particularly note able, extremely attentive and friendly.

We had a brilliant stay for 2 nights and 3 days. We found the service to be seamless and nothing was too big an issue. Allergies were catered to with no problem and they were very careful to ensure we were happy with all food. The food is delicious too. Gin was particularly helpful throughout our trip in facilitating the above. He was so kind, friendly, chatty and attentive. Would recommend to a friend!

This was a wonderful all round experience. The room, the excursions and especially the food and service were exceptional. Gotham and Cherry were both very attentive and always fully attentive and responded personally and friendly to all our questions and requests. Would recommend this and definitely the 3day/2 night experience. I can't imagine only getting to experience this for one day. As the 2 day is less than 24 hours after starting after noon and finishing at 11 am. Take the extension of the 2nd night you will not regret it. We don't have great weather and at one point the fog was so thick they were navigating off the front of the boat and barely crawling along. It was different than we expected not being able to see all the islands and it was mystical and magical just the same.

We spent 2 nights and 3 days on the Mon Cheri 2 and it exceeded our expectations. The cabins were spacious and the beds faced the window balcony so it was great to wake up everyday to lovely views. They were so conscious of our vegetarian meals, even on the day boat we had excellent options. The day boat excursion was excellent. Very comfortable day boat with a full restaurant, open deck and clean and spacious bathrooms with showers, they even provided dry bags and towels for guests. We loved our stay and definitely recommend 2 nights, 1 night would have felt too rushed. Tam does an excellent job of getting to know and take care of all guests. And Ann and Jimmy were so sweet and attentive as waitstaff. To top it off, after kayaking during the afternoon it was lovely to come back to a hot jacuzzi on the boat to unwind before a hot shower and happy hour. The cocktails were surprisingly good and fresh.

Great service and personal attention from the moment we arrived at the boarding point. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Remy was out looking after us in the restaurant and provided excellent service… 11 out of 10 for Remy…. Thank you for making our trip so special!

We did a 1 night trip and had a terrific time. Harry was the highlight. His professionalism and attention to detail really made the experience extra special.

We had a great time, the Staff Service was exzellent and the rooms had a high Standard. Our Restaurant Service was GIN and the Boat Manager was Cherry. We werr especially satisfied with their Service. Very kind and educated Staff.

We are in love with the hospitality of the cruise and a special mention to Jennie and cherry The whole staff was so polite and welcoming that can't even be explained in words. The stay was so comfortable with all services outstanding. We would love meet our stars Jennie and cherry again.

The room was gorgeous! We had a bathtub with a view of the gorgeous rock formations and a beautiful private balcony. They also decorated our room with rose petals since it was our honeymoon. The crew was incredibly attentive and Harry specifically went above and beyond to add extra little touches to make sure we were taken care of (he replaced my napkin right away if I dropped it, and we ordered a bottle of wine and he made sure my glass was never empty). He also offered to make us plates of food from the breakfast buffet and bring it to our room when my husband mentioned we might want to sleep in instead of attending breakfast in person. The crew also surprised us by setting up a decorated table for us at dinner for our honeymoon, and brought us some complimentary cocktails (in addition to a song they played for us that was equally so sweet and embarrassing hahaha). The kayaking was fun and exploring Cat Ba was really cool, it’s a tiny and gorgeous island. It was just a really peaceful experience overall, definitely recommend for a relaxing trip or a special occasion.

Great boat, very comfortable and the staff and food was amazing. Special thanks to Remy in the restaurant!! The itinerary was great too and the second full day added a lot to understanding the area and the people.

We had a very good cruise . We enjoyed the unrivaled scenery and the considerate attention of the crew. We are especially grateful to Remy who was pleasant, attentive and competent.

Traveled with my wife in March and had an unforgettable time on the Mon Cheri. Special thanks to the amazing staff. Ann, Jasmin and Tam were incredible. You will NEVER find in any hotel someone more charming, sweet and charismatic than Ann. She was outstanding. Our room was the Presidential Suite and was nothing short of spectacular. Massage chair, huge deck and room. Felt like we were the king and queen on our own yacht. The only thing I wished for was staying 2 nights instead of one as the time goes by simply too fast. If I was to nitpick the only thing that left us underwhelmed was the lunch when we got on the ship. My suggestion would be to have Pho or Banh Mi and that would have tasted better than the entrees of choice which were a bit bland. Anyway, book this ship and you will leave with new friends and a wonderful time. We even saw the close to extinct monkeys during our kayak excursion. Hopefully they find of way of survival. Thank you again!

The views are very pretty, and the staff is excellent. Special thanks to Jennie, who went above and beyond for delivering good service. The gym is outdated and smells musty, there are only two machines one of which is so rusty it is not usable. Something about Cruises in Ha Long area in general: You have to mind that there are many, many other Cruises in the bay, which unfortunately means that your view will probably be obstructed by another ship. Also the water has a lot of thrash floating around, and the air smells polluted. Local people on small boats drive right up to your balcony to try to sell you snacks. A very touristy and busy experience which has to be your cup of tea. This has nothing to do with the staff, however, who were great and very helpful.

Great cruise! We went on a 3 day, 2 night cruise with Mon Cheri. They were very organized and had constant activities for us. We did go in March, which was very comfortable from a temperature standpoint but was overcast every day in Northern Vietnam. The food and service were great, especially Jennie who was our server. She was very sweet and attentive. If there was anything on the menu we did not like, she would substitute it with something else.
