We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The surroundings were beautiful and that’s itself made the experience enjoyable. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel also has a lovely pool with poolside bar where drinks are made using fresh fruit. The spa is also good. The only disappointment was the food. Given how much good food there is in Vietnam, the food here was truly disappointing.

We had a grt time. Beautiful view. Lovely pool. Really nice staff, especially Vo Ngo Anh. He helped us with all we needed, always smiling. Had a bad experience renting scooters. They hotel is far from the center and these not many taxis and they hotel don’t have shuttle

The resort is beautiful, rooms are nice, spacious and clean with amazing lake view. The only down point is there are quite a few insects entering your room if you don’t remember to close the door and windows quickly. Overall it was a good experience!

Amazing location, big rooms and friendly staff. The pool & bar are really nice and while we did not make use of them, the lake looks perfect for kayaking. Only downsides were that the hotel restaurant was a bit underwhelming, there are restaurants a short walk away however so this was not a major issue. I would recommend to others.

First, I really love Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort so much. One of the best resort I have visited till now. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the lake and the mountain. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the lake. It felt like around the lake, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. If someone wants to visit the village of the Thai ethnic people, they could directly walk down along the lake within 10 minutes. The resort's restaurant really serves delicious food and drinks. I always remember the grilled bamboo chicken with chili salt. I thank the kitchen team and the head chef for giving me and my honey delicious meals. When I come Mai Chau Hideaway Lake resort, I find myself in nature. The view of this lake looks as beautiful as Ha Long Bay. Our stay at the resort was for 7 days. Everyday here is a memorable experience with me. I will go back this place with my family. I believe the one and only this resort located in the heart of Hoa Binh. Staying at Mai Chau Hideaway, We are contributing in the act of preserving and advocating the traditional values. We stopped by to have some coffee and ended up eating here, and would have loved to stay for couple of days (unfortunately we were short on days). The food was delicious and a good combination of vietnamese with some extra worldwide touches. The area is as peaceful as one can imagine with excellent views at the lake. The service was excellent and the price quite low considering the quality of the food and the location. I would totally recommend it both for a stop and for a very relaxed stay. I could see they have kayaks available to discover the lake.

Really nice place to stay with a spectacular view of mountain and lake. Good for a relaxing vacation. Our room was really spacious and poetic. Amazing service, thanks to Mr. Chung, we got a memorable experience. I also had a great experience at the restaurant here, the food was so good yet affordable, i would recommend eating here

A nice hotel to relax by the pool, enjoying the nature and an idyllic view from the room. A perfect surrounding for a trip by boat to pass by some fishing village enjoying the big lake and mountains… Also their restaurant and kind people are top! Robby & family

This is a gorgeous location with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. The rooms are lovely, the pool is relaxing, and the service is very good. I enjoyed the rafting and the traditional entertainment in the evening. The food is hit and miss.

I have been to Mai Chau 4 times and have stayed at many resorts in Mai Chau, but this is personally the best and most beautiful resort in the romantic Mai Chau valley. The white clouds float halfway up the towering mountain ranges, looking down to see the majestic Da river exudes the rustic simplicity of this place. Thank you very much to the receptionists and receptionist Vu for the welcome. I'm very enthusiastic and you also make me feel more familiar with this place. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, simple but no less modern. Thank you resort for giving me a wonderful vacation with my loved ones

I have been here with friend late of Jun 2024. Mai Chau Hideaway Lake Resort such a amazing palace for retreating emotion. We were enjoyed the rooms with Ethnic characteristics decoration. So tasting delicious meals at Bamboo Restaurant. The staffs so friendly & helpful with smile all the time.

Nice hotel - a bit out of town, but lovely outlook and quiet made up for the extra distance to get there. Rooms were nice as was the pool area and the dining place. Only warning would be that the path between reception/dining area and the rooms was quite steep. Fine for us - but if you struggle to get up and down hills at all, probably not the place for you.
