1 day trip in Ha Long Bay
Max was our tour guide today, and he was just awesome! Very good customer service and good in English. I loved him who gave us brief about himself and also Hanoi and Vietnamese as language. Great tour guide! I enjoyed the whole trip too.

brilliant day tour of ha long bay!
t ony was a brilliant host! the tour was well planned, with lots to do and he gave a lovely presentation of ha long bay. he provided us with a lot of fun facts and was very friendly - he made sure we were having a good time and gave us ample time to explore the different drop off points. the tour was well planned, and the food was delicious. as a vegetarian i was really impressed by the variety of options they had given to us. i also enjoyed the tea and snacks on our ride back. overall - a brilliant day and i highly recommend this tour to anyone considering doing a day trip to ha long bay!

      Great birthday trip
A group of 8 of us went on the Ha Long Bay full day tour and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It was a very good sized group (not too big so it wasn't overwhelming) and we got to do everything we wanted throughout the day (kayaking, swimming, relaxing on the boat etc). Our guide was Tony and he was very kind and informative & made sure that we were well taken care of. We also happened to go on my birthday and Tony went above and beyond to make me feel very celebrated:)

      Lovely hospitality
The day trip to Ha Long Bay was beautiful, especially the cave. Our guide Tony was very enthusiastic, gave a lot of information, and his instructions were very clear and easy to understand. He took excellent care of us. The vegetarian food also exceeded expectations. Would recommend to most people, just be aware that the steps to the cave are physically demanding in the heat.

Awesome Tour in Ninh Binh with awesome Lee
Lee is a gem, not only he took care of us at all times, he also made sure that we will bring home with us some information about his country’s history, food and culture by giving us mini recitation quiz at the end of the trip which is i think effective in ensuring we will have a lasting memory of Vietnam! We really had a wonderful time with him, If you look for Lee, your trip will be worry free 😍 Thank you Lee!

      :)
Tony was a really nice guide, everyone in the Cruise was really happy to help at any moment. We felt really comfortable. The only thing I would change is the check-out, as there were 45minutes when we had to leave the room and have nothing to do in the boat. Other than that, great!!

      Great
Tony is very nice and friendly. The activities have been very fun and the cruise was great. The only complaint was that check out was early and we spent an hour on the cruise without being able to access the room.

This was by far the most breathtaking experience I’ve ever had. Sapa is beautiful. With spiraling rice terraces and ever present smiles from locals, our Sapa adventure was life changing. Vietnam Open Day Tours effortlessly guides us through what would have been a daunting experience. The bus ride from Hanoi to Sapa was an experience in itself. You are riding on a bus with bunk beds. These bunk beds recline a bit to add to the experience. The ride was smooth, until you reached unpaved roads but this is VIetnam. We stopped along the way to get food and use the rest rooms. Our bus guide seemed a bit rushed and sometimes aggressive but again this is Vietnam. After we arrived in Sapa we were met by our trekking guide. Her name escapes me but I will say..... I LOVE THIS LADY!! She took very good care of us along our journey! Day 1 we hiked for about 5 hours. The trails led you through dense vegetation. It’s rank f season so wear boots and expect to get muddy. After a long trek we ended at our homestay. FABULOUS! The homestay was clean and inviting! I expected a cot in someone’s back house but we stayed in beautiful bungalow looking out on to the rice terraces!!! To die for!!!!!! The food here was delicious. Day 2s trek was shorter maybe 3 hours. I couldn’t keep count because there was so much to see. In total we visited three villages and took amazing photos. We ended our journey with another delicious meal. A bus picked us up, took us back to Sapa town, we showered at one of the hotels then took the bunk bed bus back to Hanoi. I would definitively do this excursion again with Vietnam Open Door Tours!!!

This was a great experience and you won't regret it if you book it.
The whole trip was very well organized, the guides were super knowledgeable and friendly and the homestay was so much better than expected!
You take a relaxing sleeping bus out there (stop off twice, take money to use bathrooms), arrive for lunch then trek through villages to your homestay for dinner.
The next day you have breakfast at your homestay trek to a lunch spot then ride into town for a nice warm shower before driving back to Hanoi.
We didn't have great weather which was a pity for the views, but the whole trip was amazing all the same.
