Our first visit to Vietnam and we had a great time. Big thanks to Conica Travels. The accommodation, pickup and drop, tour guides and the service made the tour memorable. On the tour guide front, they were the best and made it so comfortable, except for the Ho Long bay tour with Ling ( he was rude). Da NANG accommodation was the best and Hanoi was reasonably good. Ho Chin Minh accommodation could be better, but the location was awesome. The constant support they WhatsApp and 5 star level service made the tour exceptional. Would recommend Conica travels for all Vietnam travels.

The 3 day tour was carefully planned, mixing history, culture and fun. Our tour guide Chien was very attentive, knowledgeable ans discreet, and did everything to accommodate our needs. Our driver Mr Thuy was very calm and safely drove us everywhere. We felt safe in his car. The choice of the homestay was excellent and it feels we have had a real experience of North Vietnam.

The trip was excellent. From booking the tour, the tour itself and then after tour assistance, all of it was fantastic. Mr Jack the organiser was very professional and easy to engage. He went above and beyond to help us have the perfect tour. Mr Dat the tour guide was flexible and keen to make sure our trip was what we hoped it would be. This is a raw Vietnam tour, and not for those seeking a 5 star hotel experience. It was perfect for us.

We traveled around the north of Vietnam with Conical for 3 weeks. Fantastic experience! Our guide Zyang (and driver Sun) brought us to many unique places. We asked for a trip with a decent amount of hikes, a bit off the beaten path. They delivered on all accounts! We went to places not many tourists go, and also saw the more well known places when it was worth it. Zyang knew the right places (and things) to eat, while showing us the different kinds of food and the local culture. They were also flexible to accomodate our wishes. Most places we stayed at were quite luxurious. We felt very welcome everywhere, both at people's homes and in Vietnam in general. I can't recommend them enough, we had a wonderful trip!

Having wanted for literally decades to see the Khmer temples of Cambodia, I decided in the autumn of 2023 that 2024 would be the year to finally put a plan into operation. Months later, and sick of making little meaningful progress with slow, disinterested and often eye-wateringly expensive agencies back in Europe trying to sell me off-the-shelf tours, I decided to try my luck with a local specialist. Conical Travel in Hanoi quickly emerged from my initial internet research as a professional outfit garnering consistently strong reviews. I fired off a brief email enquiry outlining the kind of trip I wanted to put together, and within minutes I was in WhatsApp contact with Windy Nguyen from Conical. Straight away, Windy and her colleagues inspired confidence. She took my vague outline for a trip through Vietnam and Cambodia and quickly crafted a highly detailed itinerary. When I had to change departure dates or request tweaks to the programme, nothing was ever a problem. And to address my detailed questions, Windy set up a video call with her Operations Manager Jack, who patiently talked me through all the nitty-gritty to put my ignorant Western mind at ease. The final custom-built itinerary was for 12 days and 11 nights to fit in with our availability. The destinations and activities suggested were about one third my initial wishes and two thirds Conical’s recommendations. When I decided to go ahead, Conical dealt with literally everything. Accommodation, food, activities, ground transportation, guides, flight transfers and electronic visa formalities were all included in a single, highly competitive price. In terms of execution, the whole Conical team delivered way beyond all expectations. From the moment we landed in Hanoi, everything ran smoothly. We felt 100% comfortable and supported at all times, enabling us to throw ourselves into the intoxicating, joyful chaos of our unusual surroundings. Wherever we went, we received impeccable personal service, being on our own as a single-family group for 95% of the activities and transfers. We were accompanied by a guide and/or driver (most often both) at all times. Conical’s programme was deftly optimised to cram an enormous amount into the time available, without us ever feeling rushed or stressed. The changes of pace and range of activities was terrific - hectic and high-energy one day, then relaxed, almost zen-like the next. On the very rare occasions that we encountered difficulties, Windy was just a message away and on the case immediately to resolve the issue calmly and efficiently. As for working with a local in-country specialist company based half a planet away from my home, any fears I might have had were quickly allayed. Communication was far easier than has been my experience with European partners much closer to home in the past (both upstream of the trip and once we were on the ground in-country). I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more trustworthy and reliable travel company (and I have travelled extensively all over the world for personal and professional reasons over the last 30+ years). The guides, drivers and other partners we met through Conical Travel were all extraordinary people that we will never forget - and that includes Jack and Windy themselves. The experience they offered us will stay with us forever. If you are considering a trip to any country or countries in South-East Asia, Conical should be the first people you call. When I return to the region that’s what I’ll be doing.

We did a 5 day tour to Ha Giang, Ban Gioc falls and ba be lake. It was absolutely amazing. Messaging Jack from Australia was easy, he was very helpful with any questions and organized it all perfectly. Our driver was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Chien was our tour guide. He made our trip, a memory we both will never forget. So helpful in every way. The only thing I would probably change is, too add an extra day or two for this tour.

We had a nice 6 day trip to Ha Guang, Ban Gioc Falls and Ba Be Lake with Jack from Conical Travel. Jack did an amazing arrangement for us and took great care of us all the time to make sure we were always happy and satisfied. We really appreciate and recommend.

Conical Travel was amazing! I wanted to do a few things in northern Vietnam but didn't know how to book on my own. They help curate a trip that went to all the sites we wanted to see. The guide and driver were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They new were all the great local foods, hotels and hidden gems were. Highly recommend!

Simply no words to explain their work. Windy and Jack guided patiently entire trip in Vietnam. One of the guide Sam explained very well about the tourist places ! Totally a worth travel company. You will never be disappointed. Also we covered Ho Chi Minh City - Chu Chi tunnels and Mekong delta.

Thoroughly recommended way to travel between Hue and Hoi An. Our guide, Sy, picked us at the hotel, took us down the highway (including stopping for some great local coffee), stopping to let us take pictures and to provide great chunks of history and details about the culture. Had a lovely lunch break at Lang Co Beach (can't remember the name of the restaurant, but food and views were great). The Hai Van Pass was incredible, with a stop at the top to enjoy the ridiculous views and have another excellent coffee, before heading down through Da Nang to explore the Marble Mountain, then finally to Hoi An. I have taken the train between Hue and Da Nang before and this is a hilarious amount better. An absolute treat. And that was with the weather not being particularly great!
