We had a great day exploring Ha Long Bay through this excursion. We saw the sights of the bay and got to explore caves and mountains as well. We were well attended to throughout, the transport was well organised, and our guide Ken was fantastic, making sure that we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend doing this cruise!

The tour was fine. Sonny, our guide was personable and moved through the day efficiently and with good humor. I would have enjoyed more info about the areas we drove through (since it was a couple hours bus ride each way). The food was good. While the cruise was fine, the Bay and cave are so commercialized and crowded that it wasn't particularly enjoyable. Felt like cattle being pushed through. Not the fault of the guide, just too many tourists in a day.

Tour was well managed. The large boat (cruise) was classy and we were well taken care of. The buffet lunch luckily had ample vegetarian options. Our guide Sunny was informative and kept the humour alive. Do keep in mind this is a long day tour owing to the distance to / from Hanoi to the harbour. Would recommend this tour

Was an excellent all day experience. Picked up outside our hotel in old quarter Hanoi in comfy coach with great English speaking guide. Journey to HLB broken up with two stops on the way. The day was really great from the boat we were on, food, drinks, great company from others trippers and of course stunning scenery. Great walk to the top of Ti Top island for wonderful views across the bay, and wander through the caves. Would highly recommend this full day trip from Hanoi to HLB and this company too.

Right from the start, they try to scam you. It was clearly communicated that the transfer was included in the price, but later, they told us we had to pay an additional $20 per person upon arrival. When we got there, they attempted to charge us even more, first showing us an incorrect currency conversion. When we corrected them, they suddenly claimed it was for taxes. When we asked for a receipt, they said they “forgot the printer.” Clearly, this extra money just goes straight into their pockets. The staff was extremely unfriendly, and the overall organization was a disaster. We constantly had to ask for basic information about where to go and when we would be picked up. We also booked single rooms but were placed in a triple room instead. Avoid this company at all costs!

Good fun trip. Lovely food and staff. Clean cabins. A lot packed into the cruise for the short time you actually spend there.

Well organised tour. Great communication from the tour guides and coordinator. Good transportation. Stayed on schedule. Great sightseeing opportunity. Plenty of buffet lunch with vegan options provided upon request. Highly recommend to see Ha Long Bay area.

Fantastic place with feel good factor. Kayaking is optional but suggest to do it. Journey is long (2.5 hrs subject to Hanoi Traffic), be prepared.

It was a great trip that covered all the major sites. It is a good choice for people who only have a day to spend in Ha Long bay. Our tour guide Ken was amazing, he explained the history very well and provided personalized care for everyone. Would definitely travel again with him and this travel agency!

Wonderful trip under the expect care of our wonderful guide Vic. The cruise exceeded our expectations with a very smooth and pleasant transfer, wonderful accommodation on our junk and the most delicious food. I would only say that there was too much food and it was a shame that so much would end up going to waste. We were expecting crowds of people and boats but the trip took us to Bai Tu Long Bay which is far less busy and well worth going on the overnight cruise. We would definitely recommend Renea Cruises to anyone looking to do this type of activity.
