Variety and museums
May 2018 • Solo
First, I would have given this tour fewer stars but I blame myself for choosing this itinerary. With that said, this tour has a good amount of sites and it seemed like most of the time was spent at museums. We also visited a higher end art shop that made some or all of the products. I saw some of the same products in other souvenir shops.

The guide was great. I wish we would have spent more time at the Temple of Literature and less time at the museums. And we didn't even go to the mausoleum (I'm glad we skipped.).

Also, my tour wasn't a "small group", but everything else matches this description provided. I double checked this tour and I think the name is incorrect on this site. I was 30 years old and the other 20-30 people we middle aged couples and some brought their children.

I would say this tour is for people who are short on time and really like museums

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in a fast overview.
Nov 2017 • Couples
Coming from Paris we had a layover time in HCMC of a only a few hours an contacted the 'Vietnam Travel Group", Mrs. Jessica, via the Internet, beforehand, to inquire if a half day tour of HCMC would be possible within the available timeframe. No problem! We arrived at 9 a.m. in HCMC and were picked up by our local guide Mr. Hang with a Minivan and a Chauffeur, who brought our group of six members to the Cities center. In no time we were immersed in the hectic life and traffic of HCMC. Mr. Hang guided as very professionally to the most important places to see, like the "Independence Palace", the "War Remnants Museum", the "Notre Dame Cathedral, the "Central Post Office" etc.. Despite the fact that we had to be back at the airport at 2:00 p.m. he made also lunch for us possible. Thanks to Mr. Hang's experience and inside knowledge the short stay, i.e. program was very informative, interesting and very well executed. Therefore, it is self explanatory that the visit of HCMH was a complete success, and we would like to thank Mrs. Jessica and Mr. Hang for having accommodated us. It goes without saying, we would book again with the "Vietnam Travel Group" on our next trip yo HCMH. Hopefully on this occasion with more time on hand!
