- Compass545125193120 contributionsThe best guide, Lily. The guide Lily was so kind. She was a good guide, not like a young friend. She was good at such things as knowledge of Vietnam and food explanations, so I wasn't bored. And above all, she was so good at English that she had no difficulty communicating. That was the best part. I had a small communication with myself in the middle of the trip, which was a good experience for me. I hope she will be a good guide in the future. I recommend this tour. ᐟWritten February 10, 2025

- Deano19670 contributionsBrilliant food tourWe did this tour last night with April who was an absolute star. Fluent in both English and Spanish (which really helped the couple from Peru), she is passionate about Vietnam, Hanoi and the food. Ahhhh, the food.... The tour involved three different stops for local delights which were fresh, tasty and very well received. It has to be said the choice of restaurants is off the beaten path and ones we'd normally walk right past (or not even find) and it's for this reason we wanted a walking food tour and it did not disappoint. The dry pho was a new one on us and has to be experienced. As well as the food, we visited Train Street and were lucky enough to see not one but two trains pass by which made for some great photos and video. There was no "hard sell" from April, no pressure to buy things, give tips or complete Trip Advisor reviews which is a refreshing change from some of the other companies doing Hanoi tours. We totally recommend this tour and if you're really lucky you'll get April as your guide, what an ambassador for Vietnam she is.Written February 10, 2025
- NorBrisbane0 contributionsInteresting, good food and excellent guideWe did the night walking food tour and train street visit with Liam. He was excellent because he was friendly, informative, funny and relaxed. We weren’t hurried, we were well fed and kept safe while walking between destinations. He was easy to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Liam.Written February 9, 2025
- KT2760 contributionsHa Noi food tourSmall group tour of 6 led by Paul, a very knowledgeable guide who gave us history lessons of the food and Vietnamese culture and history. We tried authentic and flavorful North Vietnamese food and drinks. I couldn’t find Banh Mi as good as the one from the tour during the rest of my Vietnam visit. In addition to visiting family businesses to eat, he also showed us attractions around the Old Quarter for photos, including a safe and uncrowded spot on Train Street for the iconic photo shoots.Written February 9, 2025

I rate this tour 5/5 because our tour guide Sarah was on time to pick us up from our hotel, took us to great street food restaurants we never have found without a guide, and showed us around the beautiful city of Hanoi on a cycle. Sarah made us feel at home, explained each dish, shared great facts about the history of the dishes and Vietnamese culture. I would strongly suggest this tour for anyone visiting Hanoi! Thank you Sarah!!!

Sarah, our guide, did an excellent job, giving us an interesting taste of good food as well the culture and history of Vietnam. The variety of food choices was great and the places she took us to exciting and showed us the inside of Hanoi. Train street visit with the passing train, just inches from our knees, gave us the thrill and the beer was cold 😊
All over a highly recommended tour, and Sarah was a great guide.

Amy was such a lovely tour guide. Besides sharing information about the food she also gave us an interesting insight of Hanoi’s lifestyle and people, a lot of good recommendations on sightseeing and food. The dishes she picked were absolutely delicious.
We directly went back the next day to have another round ;-)

This was a great way to experience some of the local food around the old town of Hanoi. We tasted around 7 different dishes from different local restaurants that we probably wouldn’t have been brave enough to go into on our own. Our guide, Lucy, was fantastic, explaining all the different o gradients as well as giving us a bit of an insight into her life in Hanoi. All of the food was delicious and we discovered so new favourites that we have continued to eat throughout the rest of our holiday. Highly recommended - just don’t have breakfast beforehand as there was so much food!

Gen was very lively and has the vibe to entertain us. Even extending help whenever we had inquiries about the city, the history, the viet food and coffee. She has very rich English knowledge. And would love to do another tour again with her.

Great tour. Rachel was an excellent guide and was full of helpful tips for exploring Hanoi beyond our good tour. The food was fantastic and from tiny hole in the wall places I would not have known to try myself. The tuk tuk ride was a hoot and made for some good memories.

We had an amazing time on our tour. Our tour guide Alex was really nice and friendly, also his English is very good. It‘s fun trying out real, traditional Vietnamese food with him and he shows you places you wouldn’t normally find on your own. The egg coffee was definitely the best coffee I have ever tried.
We can highly recommend it.
Thanks Alex for the great time!

Hi,
Every year our group hosts their training in a new country of South/South East Asia for a group of about 70 persons.
In Jan 2019 we will be in Hanoi, Vietnam. We want to set up a multi-faceted tour of Hanoi, ending with a dinner on WEDNESDAY, 16-Jan 2019.
After a tour of Hanoi by Tuk-Tuk through the Old Quarter, we want to visit an NGO working with local women and children and then we want to go to a restaurant where our guests can volunteer for a cooking class and have dinner there.
Please let me know if you can accommodate a group of 60-70 and if the menu can be discussed along with pricing at your earliest convenience.
