- Wander309629764940 contributionsTop Vietnam Bucket ListParadise Cave was breathtaking, the entire path is a board walk to maintain the beauty of the rocks which are well lit. The path is about a kilometer into the cave allowing the crowd to spread out and take photos. It was eerily quiet in certain spots but beautiful. The jungle path to reach the cave was also breathtaking but an easy climb (only a slight elevation all the way up). Phong Nha cave was also beautiful and it was interesting to take a boat that far into a cave. The tour guides and driver were awesome and accommodating. The lunch was great as well. Remember to bring tip money for the rower of your boat and your guides! (Rower tip about 10,000-50,000VND and tour guide about 100,000-150,000VND; rower $0.50 to $2.50 CND and guide $5 to $7.50 CND).Written October 4, 2024
- Thivya S0 contributionsGreat value for money, amazing tour guideWe had the most amazing time at Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountain - our guide Michael was amazing- he really made the whole thing super interactive and was very attentive to the whole group. The value for money with this excursion is really great - we got to try some traditional food which was great, and Michael was really informative throughout the day. Would 100% recommended trying this if you are in Hoi An / Da Nang during your trip!Written October 4, 2024
- rhonab6330 contributionsAmazing Hanoi TourWe have an amazing tour to Halong Bay with Mia our tour guide. We experiences a great cruise around Halong bay. - James W0 contributionsGreat value and variety of activitiesThe trip was fantastic, it all worked out really well. The Victory Star boat was a highlight for the Halong Bay section. We enjoyed the variety of all the activities, knowing enough to know what was going to happen without being told every single little detail, which made it more adventurous and enjoyable. Sad to see so much damage from Typhoon Yagi, especially in Cat Ba Town.Written September 30, 2024
- LGaudet0 contributionsTransfer from airport to hotel in VientianeWe had a great transfer from the airport to the hotel, the gentleman was kind enough to wait while I got some money at the ATM. Good driver, no issues at all, I only booked one way but I’m going to book the return with them, not worth the hassle of hoping the taxi driver shows up. Great service!Written September 28, 2024
- Rosewhite20140 contributionsFabulous night , great food.We had an excellent guide who spoke perfect English, as we were the only people on the tour he tailored it to meet our requirements, we'd been to a couple of the places previously, the food was excellent and we arrived at the victory gate as the coloured fountains started. Couldn't have been better.Written September 19, 2024
- Robbdei0 contributionsGreat time in ParadiseWe took the Paradise/Phong Nha caves day tour which was very efficiently run and Quoc the driver was great. Our guide Tuyen (aka Chocolate) was an absolute delight and very informative and helpful. The caves, particularly Paradise Caves were mind blowingly beautiful. To top things off the lunch was excellent with a wide range of tasty dishes. Highly recommend this tour.Written September 15, 2024
- PeterJo20130 contributionsExcellent tourI very much enjoyed this gentle bike tour through the countryside. Lots of stops and interesting things to see. Dung, our guide, was careful to explain everything and went at our pace.Written September 8, 2024

- cooperjenny470 contributionsAmazing experience viewing the cavesBoth me and my partner really enjoyed the tour, we found both the guides really friendly and informative and they were happy to answer all our questions. Also the caves were amazing - we particularly loved the Phong Nha cave We also really liked the pacing of the day and the lunch was delicious!!Written September 7, 2024
- 781alicjar0 contributionsVery nice tour, but little guidanceWe booked the Hoa Lu + Trang An + Mua Cave directly with BC Family Tours and the booking was handled excellently. They were also very flexible (booking on short notice, drop off at another spot). The itinerary is well planned and the activities really worth seeing. However, our guide (Kiên) didn’t explain anything. That was a pity especially at the first stop, as we couldn’t make much out of what we were seeing at the temple complex. Also, he didn’t accompany the group to the other two activities but just gave us directions how to find our way back. The directions weren’t very clear, so it took the group longer to find the way and we were behind the schedule. The tour took place on a national holiday so all the places we visited were more crowded than usual, which made it even more difficult to navigate. There’s a stop on the way from Hanoi which is nice for all those who need a little break, but we were dropped off at a sort of shopping centre were we had to see a presentation of different products and were pushed to buy them. This took almost an hour, so it should be at least mentioned on the itinerary.Written September 4, 2024
- 781alicjar0 contributionsPerfect itinerary and great guideWe had a great, everything was perfectly organized and went very smoothly. Minh was an extremely well prepared guide and we were impressed how well he managed a group with both Vietnamese and English speaking visitors - he had to say everything in two different languages! We also appreciated very much the flexibility of the provider, as we booked the trip on a very short notice. They weee always available via WhatsApp and answered all questions immediately. We definitely recommend this trip & this company.Written August 31, 2024

The organisors have packed so much into this tour you wont be twiddling your thumbs for a minute and we loved all of it. Mua Cave was a highlight and the bicycle ride. Lynch was delicious and well catered for vegetarian. Our tour guide was Phong and he was outstanding, organised, detailed, Enthusiastic, funny and well versed in history. On his oWn he looks after us and never stopped smiling for almost 12 hours. He went out of his way to commUnicate with non english speakers and his english was amazing. He made this tour evEn more spectacular, thanks Phong.

The tour up the River Tam Coc in a rowing boat with it‘s 3 caves is an experience of absolute beauty ! You take about 2 hours on the slowly moving rowing boat and the landscapes that this tour offers are amazing! 2 hours drive up from Hanoi and 2 additionnal hours for returning to Hanoi are FULLY justified by the 2 hours that you spend on the Tam Coc River (= „the river of the three caves“). The caves are, in fact, nothing leaving you wordless - but interestingly cut up and entertain during that rowing boat trip through amazing natural beauty. Don‘t forget to tipp the people who are rowing the boats - it must be a hard job...! Back to the departing point of the boats, numerous (good quality and cheap) restaurants give you the possibility to regain forces for the trip back to Hanoi... In our opinion, Tam Coc River counted among the most appreciated highlights (with SO MANY OTHERS) in Vietnam !

We were picked up from Old Quarter in a good vehicle. Went to Hoa lu, the ancient capital. Nice historic place. Enjoyed it even though the climate was super hot. A sumptuous buffet lunch made as filled and relaxed. We headed to Tam Coc for a 90 minute boat ride through a pristine river. Passed under three caves. A wonderful experience! Finished the tour with a 5km cycling through the village. Special thanks to our tour guide Key.

We are French and we booked this tour. The bus trip is around 2,5 hours. We were pick up at 8am in our hotel in old quarter and we had a lunch around 12:30 am. We had again a short 20 mn trip and arrived to the boat station.
We took a tiny boat plus rawer for a wonderful cruise. The landscape (mostly mountains) were so green and the place so quit even if there were many little boats. I took some wonderful pictures.
Right after, we took a bike for a 40mn tour on the little roads of the village. Note : some people left our tour and overnight inside this village. This is maybe a good idea.
So, we enjoyed this tour and we really recommend it.
