- Robbdei0 contributionsGreat time in ParadiseWe took the Paradise/Phong Nha caves day tour which was very efficiently run and Quoc the driver was great. Our guide Tuyen (aka Chocolate) was an absolute delight and very informative and helpful. The caves, particularly Paradise Caves were mind blowingly beautiful. To top things off the lunch was excellent with a wide range of tasty dishes. Highly recommend this tour.Written September 15, 2024
- PeterJo20130 contributionsExcellent tourI very much enjoyed this gentle bike tour through the countryside. Lots of stops and interesting things to see. Dung, our guide, was careful to explain everything and went at our pace.Written September 8, 2024

- 781alicjar0 contributionsVery nice tour, but little guidanceWe booked the Hoa Lu + Trang An + Mua Cave directly with BC Family Tours and the booking was handled excellently. They were also very flexible (booking on short notice, drop off at another spot). The itinerary is well planned and the activities really worth seeing. However, our guide (Kiên) didn’t explain anything. That was a pity especially at the first stop, as we couldn’t make much out of what we were seeing at the temple complex. Also, he didn’t accompany the group to the other two activities but just gave us directions how to find our way back. The directions weren’t very clear, so it took the group longer to find the way and we were behind the schedule. The tour took place on a national holiday so all the places we visited were more crowded than usual, which made it even more difficult to navigate. There’s a stop on the way from Hanoi which is nice for all those who need a little break, but we were dropped off at a sort of shopping centre were we had to see a presentation of different products and were pushed to buy them. This took almost an hour, so it should be at least mentioned on the itinerary.Written September 4, 2024
- 781alicjar0 contributionsPerfect itinerary and great guideWe had a great, everything was perfectly organized and went very smoothly. Minh was an extremely well prepared guide and we were impressed how well he managed a group with both Vietnamese and English speaking visitors - he had to say everything in two different languages! We also appreciated very much the flexibility of the provider, as we booked the trip on a very short notice. They weee always available via WhatsApp and answered all questions immediately. We definitely recommend this trip & this company.Written August 31, 2024

- R4067HYanonymous0 contributionsI love Luang Prabang and this tourI had an amazing time on this tour. Luang Prabang is such an incredible little city and this tour was a great way to get a taste of the best of what it has to offer. My guide Xoy was so informative and passionate about this place and its people and culture (I saw him pick up litter we came across to keep it pristine). He had studied at one of the temples we visited and had so much insight to share. I loved stooping at the Save the Bear mini sanctuary at the base of Kuang Si Falls and learn more about the bears. There was only one bear out bearing, two sleeping, one poking his/her head out of the enclosure and the rest were doing their thing away from prying eyes and I'm glad they have this choice. The waterfalls were impressive and not very hard to get to (the climb up Phousi Hill was tougher). Be warned that if it has been raining too heavily, you won't be able to swim (although you wouldn't want to when it's like that). Also, if you want to see that incredible coloured water (which Xoy explained is from limestone), you need to come in the dry season. We visited the Hmong village on the way back to town which was interesting but very touristy with a procession of mothers thrusting their young children (kitted out in traditional dress and looking adorable) at you to buy souvenirs. If I am lucky enough to cone back to Luang Prabang, I would give it a miss. Xoy also pointed out the local buffalo dairy on our drive and we pulled over so I could buy an icecream (once you add the flavours, it's just like regular icecream). Such a great day. Highly recommended.Written August 25, 2024

- X1456SQlindag0 contributionsExcellentExcellent half day tour. Both Monkey & Marble mountains were beautiful to see & experience. Tour guide was very informative. Totally recommend doing if visiting Hoi An.Written August 21, 2024
- 670JoanneH0 contributionsMarble mountain with it beautiful views across DanangGreat views, wear comfortable shoes and loose clothing as it is extremely hot . We came from Hoi An and drove past some beautiful beaches on the way to Danang. Our tour guide from Venus Tours “handsome guy” was ver funny but very knowledgeable and shared lots of Vietnam’s history with us. I took the elevator up ( I think it is the first 200 steps) but decided not to walk any further due to heat, there were only 2 men in our group that walked to the top. Lady Buddha is magnificent and is said to bring you good fortune. We had a lovely lunch , a noodle dish in a local cafe at the end of the tour. I would recommend going in the morning as it gets hotter in the afternoon and is more likely to rain.Written August 20, 2024

We had a great time with out guide, Thien (Thomas). The morning started out with buying some of the ingredients from the local market. That in itself was an experience my two teenagers won't be forgetting soon.
Thien also did a great job introducing us to various noteworthy landmarks, and most importantly, gave us a great perspective on how the people of Hanoi go about their day.
Then we got to the main event - getting to the cooking classroom.
That was a lot of fun - I'm the cook in the family so it was eye-opening layering on the various seasoning techniques used in Vietnamese cuisine - especially the preparation of the dipping sauce for Bùn (similar to Phò, but round instead of flat). The making of the various spring rolls was also a treat - that both my teenagers were so engaged is a testament to the quality of the experience.
Highly recommended.
