- Spoilt1290 contributionsGood Historical Trip - Not such great guideWhilst we booked through Get Your Guide, we had a company called Sunrise Tours, (guide Om), not such a great company, or at least the tour guide whilst fulfilling his role was not engaged with the group, or in answering questions. The actual train ride was good, as was the museum and history of the area. There is a 2 day trip to this area, we were going to book, however glad that we did not. We had to travel to another hotel for pick up but worse we were left at this hotel on return at 8 o’clock at night and find our own way back to our hotel. This tour is a early start and late finish making for a very long day but it is worth evey minute. The various sites, museum, Kwai Bridge, Memorial, Lunch spot were very interesting and the tour was well put together. Highly recommended for history buffs.
