A nice trip overall! First we went snorkeling, and it was a beautiful place, but maybe not that much to see underwater. After, we went for kayaking, with a couple of stops on the way where we could see the islands from the boat. The kayaking experience were not top notch as it felt a bit rushed and chaotic, and I didn’t think we would get a kayak in one point. But we got one and off we went, for only 20 minutes of kayaking. I would have loved a bit more… Then we had lunch the same place, fine enough, and it was enough food for everyone at least. Then we went to the first viewpoint. This was very nice, and we got to eat ice cream as well! Finally, we got to the last island, and another viewpoint where we needed to climb A LOT of stairs to get to. But it was worth it with a beautiful view! Overall, I loved the tour, and the tour guides were nice. However, as there are many other tours and speedboats, it can feel a bit crowded and you always need to make sure you get on the right boat at the right time.

The sea was rougher the day we went. I don't hold the weather against them, but we were only fishing for small fish. We caught maybe 30-40 fish that were 4-5 inches between the 14 or so fishers on board. That was cooked up for lunch, which was cool. After lunch the captain said we could go in or keep fishing for 2 more hours for the same fish. We all elected to go in since those small fish weren't worth the rough waters and slow day of catching It seems we were never going after any big fish, which was disappointing. I'm not sure if the weather played a role in what they fished for, but if I would've known we were fishing for 4 inch fish for 6 hours, I may not have booked. It was still a cool experience, and if you have a spare day, it's probably worth doing it.

Terrible! No snorkelling and no sea kayaking on this snorkelling and sea kayaking tour. The weather was known. They did not inform the group until we were off in the boat. They knew the weather. They should have cancelled or given us the option to reschedule, refund or go ahead knowing that this snorkelling and sea kayaking tour would have neither. I took a friend for her first time snorkelling and she didnt get to try. So we got pushed up to a lookout involving more than 500 rock steps as there was nothing to do if we didn't. Too bad if you are elderly, unstable or carrying a kid as one dad was. I felt completely ripped off. They knew the weather. They knew in all liklihood there would be no snorkelling or sea kayaking well in advance. I have joined 3 tours with Mr Tu before. Peter Russell

Fantastic experience - we had a lot of fun on the speed boat (it was my first time and I did find it a bit scary at times). We both thought the stops had the exact right amount of time and we absolutely loved the lunch it was so so tasty.

If you’re looking for a day trip to the surrounding islands near Koh Samui, Mr Tu’s tour is a great option. Communication with support staff was outstanding, the trip was well organized, and you get a good flavor of the beauties of Angthong National Park. After pick up in the morning, you start your day at the pier with a light breakfast snack, pay the entrance fee for the park, and are assigned to a group. Then, off for an hour long high speed ride to the north of the park for snorkeling.. For about 45 minutes, you snorkel in a protected cove with depths around 20-30 feet in most areas—so having some snorkeling experience is helpful. The visibility was good, with many schools of colorful fish. Then, you take a short 15 minute ride to an island where you can kayak or rest on the beach. A Thai lunch is served (vegetarian options available) and after about an hour or so, you take another 15 minute ride to the next island. Here, you can climb the stairs to the top of a view point and see the hidden emerald lake. Afterwards, you can get a coffee or ice cream before setting off to the final island. A short 5 minute ride leads to the hub of the national park where you will spend around 2 hours. You can hike to another viewpoint, grab snacks or drinks at the cafe, swim, or sun in the beach or rest on the large grassy park. If you’re lucky/quick, you can get to the beach chairs and rent them for the time you’re there (50 Tbh) each. Finally, you head back for a 45 minute ride to the pier, where you are again shuttled to your hotel/Airbnb. Having taken many boat tours across the world—this is a fun adventure with high-quality, knowledgeable staff, working hard to give you an outstanding experience. As noted above the ride is high speed—not a leisurely, slow jaunt—meant to get you to the islands quickly. If you get motion/sea sickness, consider medication or something to help with that. All in all, this was a fun trip for our family (with teenager) and we’d definitely recommend.

The staff were fabulous but unfortunately the choppy season on a boat you can't see out of the windows of spoiled the day and caused many to vomit. It made us cancel other trips. The islands we visited were beautiful- at another time of year this would be great.

Passsebger speed boat was so wobly and bumpy that half of the boat people got sick. Everybody was holding vomit bag, but unreal. With that experience, once you get to the beautiful islands, you don’t really enjoy much. Would never go again.

The tour was well planned and executed. The staff were very kind and helpful. I'd give 5 stars if we could see outside from the boat and had a little more snorkeling stops.

Wow what an amazing day. From being picked up to being dropped off we were so well looked after. The staff on our trip were so considerate and kind to everyone making sure you drunk enough water, helping people off and on the boat with a smile and generally ensuring we had a great trip. The boat was speedy and safe. Lifejackets and snorkeling equipment all good condition. The lunch was really good and we enjoyed eating on the beach. Snorkeling was fun and the scenery was so special. My favourite part of the day was the kayaking. What an absolute amazing experience along the rocks and the beach was stunning. Could have done this all day. The lagoon was beautiful and worth the trip in itself. The final island hike was hard but stunning views. Enjoyed seeing the monkeys too. As an older person doing this trip I would not hesitate to recommend this company. You do need to have some fitness for the hiking but the kayaking and beach and snorkeling is great for all abilities. Can't recommend this trip enough. The staff were amazing thanks so much Mr Wu crew.

We had a nice experience going on this trip. The blue lagoon, Koh Sam Sao and the national park with the viewing point are beautiful. Some activities felt a bit rushed (snorkelling - the location was nothing special, kayaking - was very short but fun). They will also try to sell you water shoes on the boat and make you feel like you need them (especially since they take your shoes away when initially boarding the boat) but you do not need them and eventually, they will return your shoes :)

It was a great day out on a boat fishing, Jo the deckhand was very helpful and cooked a fantastic yummy lunch! Lots of little fish caught, would be perfect for families with kids! The only downfall was out transport to and from the wharf with our driver going to 3 wrong hotels to pick people up and him picking up a hitch hiker on the way back, which I thought was a little bizarre! Overall a great day and would highly recommend.

The trip was excellent value for money. All the staff were super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and we felt safe at all times. The trip was very smoothly timed and organised - we didn’t feel rushed and lunch was delicious! Constantly offered water and cola which was so appreciated. Amazing views and some fantastic remote beaches. Crew were wonderful, efficient and welcoming. Always felt very safe. Would highly recommend this trip.

Smoothly organized, everything went as expected. On the boat it was nice to look at the ocean and islands, snorkeling was nice, views from the mountain were amazing, tho the hike up there was very hard even as a young healthy person. Crew was nice and gave clear instructions. Only thing that i missed was kayaking, I had thought that there would be time for kayaking later even if you did the hike, and you wouldn’t have to choose. Memorable day, but very long and tiring, and i was sleeping on the boat on the way back. Remember to bring a lot of sunscreen, you’re going to be under the sun all day! I got burnt even tho i reapplied many times and used a hat and long sleeve. I can recommend booking from Mr. Tu!

From pick up to drop off, we can’t fault this tour experience. Exceptional commentary and guiding by Johnny and team. It was honestly so good! They really know how to make memories for everyone. The climb up to the view point is not for the faint hearted but I’ll remember it forever! We immediately booked another tour, off the back of the enjoyment of this one.
