- Explore061632124360 contributionsOut of this world! ❤️Truly fantastic and memorable day out with the hubby and teenagers on Sunday, 9th March. Booked on Klook (amazing, love you, Klook!). Tour guide Nancy was great, and the pick up/drop off hotel service made the whole day even easier. The long tail boat ride through the National Parks was sensational and the sea kayaking so much fun. Our kayaking guides kept our kayaks together and took photos of us. James Bond Island was.....WOW.....truly incredible experience. Next stop was Ko Panyi for lunch (great buffet lunch included in the price). Incredible place, we strolled through the markets behind the restaurants. Really amazing to think people living and working here. Final stop was the Suwan Khuha Temple which was truly incredible and beautiful, have to see to believe. Wonderful day out, incredible value for the cost. Highly recommend đź‘Ś 🙏🇹đź‡âť¤ď¸ŹWritten March 21, 2025
- janab8140 contributionsRiver Kwai Day Trip from BangkokOur guide Rach was great. He kept us moving through a busy but non rushed day and took great photographs along the way. He used time getting to the site to give us context for our visit including helpful images on an iPad. Our driver was also great but I don't remember his name. Good value/full day, small group.Written March 19, 2025
- 929briand0 contributionsGood river Kwai tripGood trip to river Kwai. Do not add 300 baht river cruise in a long boat as is overpriced for 5 min trip. Add in museum by steel bridge and train stationWritten March 18, 2025
- Discover683969229770 contributionsStay home and watch the news.Terrible waste of time and money. Get a message the morning of the there is no food, even after I paid for five (5) lunches. Not even an offer of a refund. The we get there at the allotted time only to find the place deserted with nothing even open but a tour of an empty park. None of the stores or markets that were advertised were open. And there were no workers other than what seems to be maintenance people trying to clean the dirt of off the dirt. I was expecting to see the equivalent of the Polynesian Center on Oahu, and what I got was an off ramp in the Bronx. Damn shame, this could be a very nice place.Written March 15, 2025
- GoPlaces036093783320 contributionsGreat structure but no need for animalsAmazing and beautiful structure to walk around. Nice covered area to have drink/snack. Animals unnecessary. Elephants exhibiting stressed behaviour.Written March 2, 2025
- byrong9560 contributionsBe prepared for a long drive!Okay, so be prepared for spending time in a mini bus! The tour operator will collect you at the pick up point/hotel and depending on the location of said hotel, expect a 3 hour drive to the first stop which includes a small museum, the cemetery of fallen POW's (the cemetery is immaculately maintained) and a photo opportunity of the bridge over the River Kwai (you will spend 30 minutes here). From here, you will board a train and travel a further 1 hr to Tham Krasae Death Railway Bridge where you will disembark and get to walk along the bridge and take photo's. Your mini bus will meet you here, and then you will drive back to Bangkok which is 4 hrs! So in summary, prepare for 6+ (closer to 7 hours) driving! Take nothing away from the guides, they are great, but it is a long day!Written February 26, 2025
- peterdavies29080 contributionsA fun day.Enjoyable day , Rach the guide coped well with the weather and the need to change the format of the day. The lunch was good and the transport comfortable.Written February 24, 2025
- ColonelBangkok0 contributionsDay Trip from BangkokWell organized with early morning hotel pick up and return at about 3:30 pm. Return by boat was pleasant with an excellent lunch aboard. Would have liked more history of the area in the guides presentations.Written February 24, 2025
- 349denisel0 contributionsDisappointed and stressful experienceI booked the 3D2N River Kwai tour (6-8 January 2025) with a pickup from Bangkok at a cost of ÂŁ670. On the evening of 5th January I received an email telling me the Floathouse room was not available and could I delay the tour until the 7th. This was not possible as we had arranged flights to Laos around the Kwai schedule. After a very stressful couple of hours and numerous emails, your company agreed we would continue as planned, albeit a much earlier start time than originally stated. However there were several significant omissions to the trip we had paid for and we did not visit the following: 1. The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre interactive museum 2. The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre 3. The Mon Tribal Village, Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school 4. One night at the FloatHouse River Kwai (which was one of the chief reasons for booking this particular tour) 5. The full ride on the Death Railway Train We had to argue with our guides on the coach to Kanchanaburi to ensure we would be transported to the Home Phutoey Hotel - this really added to our already stressful experience. As your company did not fulfill the tour we had booked, I would consider a partial refund should be made to us. There was a significant difference in price between the two hotels as well as us missing out on parts of the tour. We travelled from the UK specifically to do this once-in-a-lifetime experience so you can imagine our disappointment. Despite two emails to your company, no reply has been received. I feel I need to warn other people to avoid them experiencing this kind of situation.Written February 24, 2025

- jameseA4829QF0 contributionsNice evening out, experience could easy be improved.Great views and ambiance. Need to improve quality and variety of foods. The live entertainment was okay, but if you want people to dance, you should go with a DJ that specializes with this. It would have been nice to have someone identify the temples and significant buildings as we approached them. Still a nice evening on the water.Written February 21, 2025
- nicolettapulcia0 contributionsReally worth but avoid the return cruiseNapat, our guide was superlative, extremely prepared, clear and with a perfect English. Ayutthaya is amazing and worth to visit as well it was the king summer palace. The only non optimal part of the tour was the lunch in the returning cruise to Bangkok. It was relatively low quality and also not very tasty. I would suggest to use the same tour operator but avoid the cruise optionWritten February 21, 2025
- 44fionawo0 contributionsInformative and funWould have loved a little more time at some of the visit locations. Was very informative but would have loved for more information on route as the guide was then in another busWritten February 17, 2025
- Cambsukguy0 contributionsThe lack of a 'guide' for the 'guided' tour was disappointing. Buy late, overpriced if bought early. The format of the trip was fine, the execution less so. Starting at 6am is not great for many, it can lead to late arrivals, especially since only a few fancy hotels are used for pickup. I imagine the traffic could be better but most of the journey is out of town anyway. The main issue with this particular trip was that the guide was not really informative and, when he did speak, off-colour and non-PC jokes in broken English were not useful or welcome. A major problem was that we were not 'guided' but simply told "We are here for X minutes, meet at the bus there", which is a chauffeur service really. The JEATH museum was a case in point, we were told to walk through the exhibit and meet afterwards, no context from the guide at all. It was fine but no different to going there under one's own steam. However, there was supposed to be 'model' exhibits - soldiers and prisoners etc - we did not see these and were whisked away, basically, we saw a room of photos, not a great experience. The lunch place was well situated - great river view - but one is having lunch at 11:30am - in our case with no breakfast - so it is a strange experience. We had particular trouble because, despite a large range of buffet food available, there was no food suitable for Vegans at all. There was a nice walk available from the lunch place, "cave over there" was the guides indication. We walked along that track too, the cave is actually worth visiting, no guide information however. The optional 25-minute boat ride up to the bridge itself was confusing - we missed the chance to do it because we thought about it - having spend the entire day on similar boats in Cambodia just before - and they were gone. It turns out that it is more like 10 mins so not really worth the extra money anyway. Similarly, with the train journey, we were told we should buy the VIP seats because, otherwise, we would stand for an hour instead - the regular train fare was included. We opted for the regular journey - like the locals! There were almost no locals and there were plenty of perfectly fine wooden seats available, although the guide neglected to mention where we got off (the original bridge station as it turned out) so we had to go looking for him in the good seats to find out. The train itself was hugely delayed, twice, so we had to wait at the station for a long time, they didn't bring the vehicle to replace the journey - it is just a hot train after all - so we arrived home at 6:30 instead of 4 or so, not a big deal but annoying without food etc. Overall ,it was the price (50% higher because I booked in plenty of time as well, which is unfair and annoying), without that guided experience, it is a series of shuttles between trains and boats, all available to all, so no benefit for an expensive layout was experienced.Written February 16, 2025

Arrived 30mins late, but driver (Mr Jack) then far too fast around all the turns for a van with van like suspension. Fortunately I’d taken travel sickness pills in anticipation (it did say windy roads), but the speed was not necessary - all felt v. Rushed. V. Cheery guide, johnny, with good knowledge, and the sites with seeing but would have preferred a trip with more opportunities to talk in the mountain park, and less rush/better driving

We travelled via an aircon mini-van into a nature filled area that was very different from the warm and bustling city. It was 8 degrees on the mountain and rainy so a light jacket with a hood is an essential item. The road up the mountain can snake around quite a bit so less of a brekkie is best for the morning drive up. The pagodas are eye-catching and monumental and we quite liked the walks around it allowing for some good leg stretching! Lunch was at a local restaurant that is frequented by many tour groups and it was delish especially for us as vegans which was a lovely surprise!

Amazing! Jungle hike along the waterfalls was breathtaking. Our local guide constantly fetched wild cinnamon, and other delicacies from the forest. Views of the stepped rice paddies was incredible. And the local coffee was delicious!

This is a great trip, very interesting. The pagodas are worth seeing, there are escalators to go on to get to the entrance of both pagodas, but there are a lot of steps to come down. There are stone carvings on the walls of the king pagoda and the roof of the queen pagodas has paintings telling a story. The gardens are beautiful.

Its our first time writing a bad review.
Run away from these company excursions! Their drivers are very dangerous. They drive really fast. They fall asleep while driving. Things fall everywhere. We have videos of how they drive and are falling asleep while driving, contact me if you want me to send it to you.We were literally holding our seats for our lives.
We contact Sunleisure World personally by phone and text message the same day we took the excursion, explaining what had happen, and they never answer. We then contacted tripadvisor, which contacted them, and they never gave us an apology or money back.
We made our excursion at the beginning of June and now in July I see another review that the person describes the same thing that happened to us, and its serious this situation. Someone might get hurt. An accident might occur. Avoid Sunleisure World.
As if that is not enough, we never visited the Long Neck Tribe. They took us to another tribe that is basically nothing but normal farmers. The food during lunch was bad, really bad. Flies everywhere. The bathrooms on the lunch area had death mice and no toilet paper.

Hi there,
I have seen the Kew Mae Pan trail was currently closed. I am thinking of booking your tour in September, do you know if it will still be closed by then? If so, are you planning providing an alternative to your tour?
Many thanks

Hey I have a question about the trip. Do you go visit the temple and is the hike to the viewpoint from the top of the mountain I think it's called Kew Mae Pan nature trail if u Google it you will see the picture. Please let me know I am trying to see those two points but I am not sure if that trip offers it.
