I was the only one who signed up for today's trip. The tour guide said that I was a VIP. He paid close attention to my riding status along the way. He also gave detailed introductions to each scenic spot he visited. He also helped take photos and videos along the way, especially since he could ride while riding. It’s really cool to shoot a video while riding! By the way, he can also make coffee, so remember to try it next time!

I hd a chance to ride with Kom. The journey was perfect, tough in the beginning and on the incline, but the experience was really great. I enjoyed it ✌️ We had couple of technical issues during the way, but Kom was well prepared for everything. So there is nothing to worry about.

Let me start by thanking our guides, Kom and Vivi. They warmly welcomed us, and we truly enjoyed their presence. Apologies for forgetting my backpack, which caused a small setback. Now, back to the incredibly beautiful experience of the tour. We absolutely enjoyed it and shared so many laughs with the Trailheads team. The stunning landscapes we saw will always stay with us, and I will forever cherish this experience. Thank you, Trailheads, Kom, and Vivi!

Both guides where fantastic with great personalities and great language skills. Vivi made me laugh and helped me engage with local traditions. Even if it didn't go to plan hahaha.

Brilliant experience. The whole vibe at Trailhead is very cool. Vivi my guide was exceptional. It was so chilled following her, a local along side streets and visiting smaller less "touristy" temples that I'd never have found without her. Bicycle is the perfect vehicle for exploring central Chiang Mai. Vivi also introduced me to local master herbalist because I am interested in traditional healing methods and this was a very special experience. Vivi also chose an authentic northern Thai food stall for lunch and it was the BEST Thai food I had in my whole time in Thailand. Thank you Vivi...!! FYI... Google maps takes you to the wrong spot.... Trailhead is actually on a side street not far from where Google maps thinks they are.. DO IT!

Fantastic mountain bike trip with Trail Head to Sticky Waterfalls. Very well organised from start to finish, high quality bikes and an amazing route including a boat ride across a reservoir, cycling through the jungle (visiting a bat cave) and ending at the waterfall for a refreshing swim. Kom And Chu were excellent hosts, really looked after us and took many fantastic videos and photos for us that were emailed to me. Highly recommend

A really professional and very friendly organisation and an amazing route through forest on a mix of single track and dirt roads. YT full suspension bike was in great condition and Lek, my guide, was fantastic. It’s worth noting that because of the heavy rain in Northern Thailand at the moment much of the route is extremely slippery and some tracks slightly washed away making the Buffalo Soldier route quite challenging. A very welcome lunch at the end in stunning surroundings. All top quality from start to finish.

This was a great tour. We enjoyed the Silver Temple and Silver Hall, additional temple where we fed the catfish, side roads and alleys where we saw the daily life and gardens of the local families. Warorot Market, we loved the flowers and exotic things for sale. Vivi was a great tour leader!!! We really enjoyed ourselves. It was an adventure, we’d do it again.

Had an excellent experience. We were greeted with a welcome drink at the coffee shop and spent a half day ride with our guide. It was just the two of us so a very personalized tour. We navigated streets, alley and bridges safely. There was time for drinks and lunch. Would recommend to anyone for a way to get outside of the old city and explore a bit.

We had the most incredible time! My boyfriend and I signed up for the Buffalo Soldier run. It was a good mix for beginners and more experienced mountain bikers (I was a beginner and my boyfriend is more experienced but we had so much fun!). The guides were wonderful at teaching me the gears and bike seat tricks. They took my boyfriend on a few side more technical tracks while me at the other girl did the main one adjacent to it. I wouldn't change a thing! Definitely not for those that aren't in good shape; it was an adventure and a great workout! Muddy and tons of fun!

Did a second ride during my Chiang Mai trip with K. Lek. Smoke on the Water was much more off-road riding and for this one they provide high quality full suspension bikes in excellent condition. Had a fantastic day exploring the forests near Chiang Mai. Plenty of fun flowy downhill with a couple of challenging technical sections and some lung busting uphill climbs. Would highly recommend this ride for those with some prior mountain biking experience looking for a fun day out in Chiang Mai.

Great family ride with professional guide and support. An easy ride for the family and inexperienced riders taking in some stunning scenery. Quality hardtail bikes provided. Khun Kom was a great guide and K. Lek followed all the way in the van providing drinks and snacks along the way and guns option to skip the toughest climbs if needed. Would highly recommend as a great activity in Chiang Mai.

We had a brilliant day with Trailhead. We went on the Buffalo Soldier tour which took us through the forests and villages above Chiang Mai. Everything was really well organized and all equipment was of a good standard. It was mainly on dual track with some optional single track sections which were quite technical. Part of our family went on the Sticky Waterfall mountain bike tour which they also really enjoyed. The highlight of our stay in Chiang Mai.

Although it was raining, we had a really fun tour with Lek and Tik. Everything was perfectly arranged, from the transfer to the bikes, the F&B, the pictures/video’s and the encouragement to climb the steep hills (for Dutch people not very easy). They also shared some nice facts about the surroundings. All in all a must do when visiting Chiang Mai. No better way than to get to know the beautiful area of this part of Thailand.
