About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 943pallavip0 contributionsAmazing tour with YutYut gave me an amazing tour of Chiang Rai’s magnificent temples and the Golden Triangle. Yut was a monk and he is very knowledgeable about Buddhism and explained to me what the various symbols mean in the temples, and shared lots of information about Buddhism with me. He took some incredible pics of me at those beautiful temples. I was initially booked for just the temples. On the day of tour, I requested Yut if he could me to the Golden Triangle too and he checked with his head office and agreed to do that. It was a 15 hour tour with The Golden Triangle, and he drove me patiently and safely and showed me everything thoroughly without rushing me. I highly recommend Yut and you will not be disappointed !!!Written February 18, 2025
- E1412TJrichards0 contributionsBest Tour of Chiang Rai TemplesOur tour guide, Tong, was so amazing and gave us the best tour of Chiang Rai. We learned so much about the temples, the history and the architecture. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Chiang Rai and its beautiful temples.Written February 18, 2025
- Roam280145003890 contributionsExcellent day out with a brilliant guide! We had a brilliant day on this tour thanks to the friendly and extremely informative tour guide, Puma. Her insight and knowledge of the temples, Thai culture and the religious background were boundless and she made this an unforgettable experience. This tour complemented a number of self-guided visits to temples in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, by being able to discuss and see key aspects of Buddhist temples, old and new. Furthermore the drive through the beautiful Chang Rai countryside, and stops for coffee and an excellent lunch, made this an enriching and enjoyable day. Many thanks to Puma and Pagoda Tours.Written February 18, 2025

- GoPlaces000527937910 contributionsHighly Recommend!Highly recommend! Our tour guide Yut was friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He gave us history about Thailand, and provided water, snacks. The scenery was awesome. We got lucky and saw a gibbon monkey! The waterfalls were gorgeous. Bought weaved goods from local villagers, had lunch w/ a beautiful view, and visited the village coffee house. Next stop was the King and Queen Pagodas. Majestic architecture, beautiful gardens. Next we toured the highest point in Thailand, and lastly stopped at a local market. Yut bought us mochi dessert to try. A great day w/ the best tour guide, Yut!Written February 16, 2025

- jazminegelfand0 contributionsThe best day in Chiang Mai!Tong was the most incredible guide for our full day tour to the waterfall, two pagodas, and the trek through the forest. He was friendly, polite, and wonderfully informative. We loved learning about Buddhism and Thai history and culture, and we appreciated his insights into the best local foods and destinations. We loved every part of this day, but especially enjoyed getting to interact with the local people and appreciate their handmade goods and foods. This tour is not to be missed, and if you are lucky enough to have Tong as your guide you will enjoy the trip even more!Written February 14, 2025
- R7737QUmimim0 contributionsYut Made the 4 Temples of Chiang Rai Unforgettable!I just had a fabulous day with Yut. He was a wealth of knowledge and was very kind. He accommodated my physical limitations and was so caring and offered help above and beyond the call of duty. Yut also took some amazing pictures so I will never forget my experience. Yut took me to 4 temples, the rainbow, red, blue, and the spectacular white temple. Words cannot express my gratitude for this amazing experience. He even bought me lunch. Thank you Yut for one of the most wonderful days I've experienced in a long time.Written February 14, 2025

From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, and Tont went above and beyond to look after us, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Our guide, Austin, out did him self today! Our adventure to the Chiang Dao Caves, Wat Baan Den, and the Bautong Waterfall(Sticky Waterfall) was excellent. Austin was full of insights and information. His patience, flexibility, and humour meant that we had a wonderful day, with much laughter. The food at lunch was delicious, and we chatted about many aspects of life in modern Thailand. There were opportunities galore to stop for photos. Austin was the perfect host of a perfect adventure!

Amazing tour and good tour guide and driver named Yuk. He was prompt picking us up for our private tour in an SUV, which was comfortable, good AC, and had an adapter to play our music from our phones. The caves were interesting and different than others. No more than 800m from beginning to end. Pretty easy walk. The Wat Tham Phabong temple had a beautiful view at the top but you had to really work for it, 502 steps up, then back down. Lunch was great. Yuk ordered for us fried spring rolls, chicken wings, chicken with veggies, a soup with chicken and potatoes, and a sautéd veggie dish with a fruit platter for dessert. Then we visited a small village area to view the women from three different tribes (long neck, long ear and anuk) selling their handiwork. The Grand Blue Temple was the highlight of the day! Gorgeous temples full of color and intricate opulence. Finally ended the day and “sticky falls”. My mind was blown! One can really walk up the waterfall without slipping as easy as walking up while hiking. Water is clear and refreshing. There is no swimming but I laid on the rocks and relaxed as the water ran down. Awesome day and applauses to Yuk for his knowledge, energy and driving skills. Would super recommend the tour, company and tour guide to anyone! And a bonus was the little cold face towels Yuk would hand us with cold water after every stop.

May was a fantastic guide!
From providing background on the Karen Long neck tribes, antidotes of Buddhist beliefs/ history, and the overall culture of northern Thailand - I just can't recommend this tour enough!

Our tour guide, May, picked us up and discussed the order that we would visit each site, making sure that the time he planned for lunch was good for us. May spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable, not only about the sites that we visited, but also Thai culture and history. The visit to the Kayan village and "Long Neck People" was interesting. Yes, they want you to buy souvenirs, but you learn their history and see how they live today, combining the old ways with modern technology. It was pretty interesting. The temples were interesting and beautiful and well worth the time to visit. The waterfall was an awesome last stop on the tour. We were able to cool off and had a lot of fun! Lunch was at a Thai restaurant and May had double checked for any dietary restrictions and preferences before ordering our lunch to be ready within minutes of us arriving. The food was delicious! There were 5 dishes along with fresh fruit for dessert. We were stuffed by time we were done! We arrived back at our hotel around 5 and were completely satisfied with our day. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide May.
The only caution is that there are a lot of steps at the first temple with a spot to rest along the way. But at the sticky waterfall, there are many uneven steps to get to the bottom and it can be strenuous climbing up the falls.

We have booked it only one day before the tour, thankfully communication was fast and we had no trouble booking tour.
Our gide May was very knowledgeable and proffesional, he answered all our questions and with all the stories gave us clearer insight about Thailand.
We visited two temples and we least expected of them, but with May tour we were fascinated by the size, beauty and story of the temples.
Sticky watterfall was a nice chalange nice thing to experience, Abiut Karen village i need to mention that you won’t feel that autenthical, it is mainly done for the tourists with many souvenirs which you can buy in the city.
Also it was very nice that May showed our the real local market and we couldn’t imagine that there you can buy for example chicken embryo
All in all it was great experiance, great english skills and luxurious vehicle!:)
