        Great tour with Pae
Pae is an excellent tour guide and we recommend any tours with him. He is very knowledgeable about the visited attractions and Thailand in general. We would definitely do the tour again.

        Variety of Lampang
Amazing trip with tourguide Pae. We visited Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, took a horse carriage tour at Lampang city and visited the Thai Elephant Conservation Center where we came very close to the elephants and learned a lot about the purpose of this center and how elephants are treated and cured in the hospital. The local markets we made short visits were also worth to see. Most remarkable was our competent tourguide Pae. He made us feeling comfortable and explained deeply what Lamma culture and Thai spiritism means. Chiang mai is rich of attractions, anyway, this tour made probably the deepest impact on us. G. + B. Must do tour for temple history & food sampling
Wow! John knows everything there is to know about the historical & cultural temples. He was funny, spoke excellent English, and introduced us to some local food delicacies at the night food market. He gave us great photo tips too as he is a keen photographer! The tour lasted 2.5 hours & the electric tram was very comfortable. Highly recommend & was a great introduction to the area in the cooler early evening.

This was an amazing experience, words aren’t enough to describe how good Ms Nut was with us, knowledgeable, patience, kind, etc, she made the trip 100 times better, I would highly recommend for first timers or even people who’ve been here before.

        Tons of fun!
Our day trip to Chiang Rai was packed full of experiences highlighted by the humour, knowledge and positivity of our tour guide Pae. From being our tour guide and sharing numerous facts about Thailand and the province to acting as a personal photographer! This is definitely a must do when travelling to the northern part of Thailand.

Wonderful Daytrip to Chiang Rai with Naphat
This day trip to Chiang Rai with a visit to the White Temple, the Blue Temple, the museum and the delicious lunch (not included in the tour) was overwhelmingly beautiful for me. Thanks to Naphat's very competent guidance, I was able to learn a lot about the temples, Buddhism and the culture. Naphat listened to me and took my individual interests into account and adapted the tour to them. Naphat is very pleasant to deal with and I had the feeling of being taken seriously throughout the day trip. Thanks also go to the driver, who drove very carefully and got us safely through the day. I will always be happy to book Naphat for trips like this again. Thank you very much for the wonderful experiences.

Tour out of Chiang Mai to visit important Buddhist temple and tribal village
Excellent morning’s tour. Good balance between the fascinating hill top tribal village visit and the temple of Doi Suthep. Time allowed for explanations of sites, coffee break, photo ops and some shopping (hill top village was especially excellent value) Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and good company. We opted for the private tour - well worth the extra for quality of vehicle and using time as you see fit

Wonderful day trip to Chiang Rai to see the white temple and golden triangle with a really great guide.
We had a great day exploring Chiang Rai on this well-organized tour! Our guide, Aom, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer questions. The White Temple was breathtaking, with its intricate details and surreal design, truly a must-see. The visit to the Golden Triangle was fascinating, offering great views and insight into its history. The itinerary was well-paced, and the transportation was comfortable throughout. This trip is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the highlights of Chiang Rai in a single day. Highly recommended!

        Highly recommended excursion!
We had a great morning looking around the mountain village, enjoying some delicious local coffee. The temple area was beautiful too. Best of all was our guide, who answered all our many questions about life in Thailand and Buddhism, and was very knowledgeable about the places we visited.

        Fabulous trip
Perfect day trip to Chiang Rai and Golden Triangle. Driver and Guide were fantastic. Stopped for breaks as it was a long day and lunch food provided at a local restaurant was tasty. All places visited were very interesting and the guide gave useful information on each one. 10/10 trip.

        Great day out
We had an amazing day on the tour. Being able to see the amazing temples with out tour guide Kai. I also have to thank the company for there organising our day. They had everything set up including our breakfast. They definitely have set the bench mark. And the driver we got to thank for the day. He kept going from 6am until 8pm. Our ride was smooth. And his small gesture like cold wet wipes was a great touch. I highly recommend.

        Great tour for first timers
We decided to book a city and cultural tour at the last minute. This was our first time in Chiang Mai and John, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Note that while it’s advertised as a two hour tour, we went for almost three hours. We were also wired that it was in the evening and temples would be closed but it was actually nice to visit the temples in the evenings. Would recommend!

Family of 4 had a great 5=hour tour in a nice van with the perfect guide: Poongkie. It was the ideal way to tour spots: with a very knowledgable guide who talked just the right amount. And very accommodating.

We were collected from our hotel by our tour guide John, what an amazing character. We were driven by Max in a 9 seater air conditioned minibus with very comfy leather seats. John told us about what we could expect from the trip and discussed the complexities of the Thai language. John has such a funny sense of humour we found him absolutely engaging and so knowledgable about all things Thai. Johns English is excellent and loves to share so many funny stories we laughed all afternoon.
The trip was superb, as we had been given key information about what to look out for.
1 hour at the temple was all that was needed.
John was considerate and took us the easy routes to get to the top.
The views from the temple were beautiful and not to be missed, the road getting there was a little narrow and winding in places but Max our driver was incredibly skilled and an excellent driver. Max knew exactly what he was doing in a tight spot we felt very safe indeed.
We had a lovely coffee in the Hmong village and laughed so much.
John thank you again as we discussed and laughed about on the day we still think you are over qualified and so glad you are, and will always have fond memories of you

We went on a half day tour of the temple and village. It was great to see the temple, but the village and understanding the life of the people of Chiang Mai was amazing. The guide had great insight into the culture and history of Chiang Mai. A great and enjoyable trip.

Took a tour up to Doi Suthep and Hmong Village with our tour guide, John and driver Yeng. we really enjoyed it. John had a great knowledge of the area and we got a history of the people in the tribal village. He took the time to point out things along the way. Also want to thank Eddy who was learning the trade of tour guide with john.

Half day trip, interesting visit ,was a bit of a tourist trap but the quality of the items made buy the locals was good and cheap ,we were only trip there when we arrived and tour guide was excellent ,was a bit curious to see the women with brass rin gs round neck which streaches them told it was origionally for tiger attacks but imagine itsreally a male power thing which is exploited today for tourism ,the rings are very heavy and they take them off to sleep ,all the people seem very happy and cheerfull ,its their culture not ours so its up to them to do what they want

We are a family from UK with young children and we had a lovely time visiting the village and temple. We had a driver and a guide with excellent English. The driver was driving carefully, which is quite appreciated! Our guide, her name is May, was very friendly, patient with our kids and very knowledgeable about Thailand history, the tribe history and the temple's origins. She explained us how Buddhists pray in the temple. Our family got a "benediction" from a monk, and a bracelet for protection. I cannot recommend the tour and our guide, May, high enough. Thank you for the lovely time.

Small tour group which is great. Our tour guide May was wonderful and so is the the driver Mr. Bah (not sure if im spelling it right.

Just some comments. i guess when I signed for the tour the picture in the hotel tour book, Suthep Temple had a different picture, it was showing a huge Giant Buddha with a large white staircase. Also the Hmong Village tour, it was showing the Kayan Lahwi tribe picture and so that was I was expecting.

Our hotel was the first pick up and took almost an hour to pick up all the guests in their respective hotels to get picked up. So with the traffic and actual travel time to the mountains it was a good hour and a half.

The first stop was the Hmong Village. I thought this was where the tribe was but I guess not included in the tour itself but did not read the fine prints in the tour description in the hotel since I just looked at the pictures. The village was good, got some good food and visited a lovely garden.

the second stop was the temple. I wished we had stopped at the temple first so it will be less crowded. So by the time we got there, so many people already and difficult to experience the temples serenity.

It would be good to put in the description about pick up, and the itinerary. Better to go to temple first when not so crowded then the Hmong Village. Probably update the pictures in the hotel cause I was totally expecting a different place.

We took a private tour with our guide M and driver Thai to Doi Suthep and the Hmong Hill Village. M was a fantastic guide telling us all about the various hill tribes in Thailand and about buddhism. Touring Doi Suthep with M was a truly once in a lifetime experience. What an amazing way to spend a half-day in Chiang Mai!! Would definitely recommend!!

Just got back from half day trip to Doi Suthep and Hmong Hill Village.
Mr. Thanu or Arrow which is his name translated added a lot to this tour. He was very knowledgeable about the culture, history, and customs of Chiang Mai and the various ethnic groups in Thailand. He was pleasant and a little funny sometimes but never annoying or too talkative. I especially liked his information about Bhuddist history and beliefs. My college age son and I had a great time. Overall a very good half day trip at reasonable price and reliable service.
