Guides are entertaining and competent. Their English is the best in Thailand I heard so far.
The hiking route goes uphill and can be hard if you are not fit. The guides will insert breaks so everyone in the group succeeds the challenge, though.
The mountainbiking is hard as hell if you are not a beginner. But you can walk down the challenging sections.
The "restaurant" in the heart of the jungle offers an amazing view and very delicious nuddle soups. Enjoy!

Amazing guides. Very rude management. We signed up for the one day hike and bike - the advert said it was a 3 hour hike followed by a 2 hour bike ride. We were then told by management that things had changed and the itinerary sent to us said it was “a hike to a cave and then go in to have a look” - what we were actually doing was full on caving and none of us were prepared for tightly spaced, advanced caving challenges - to a point where we turned back due to being too uncomfortable with a small hole that none of us except the guide could fit through. The management was aggressive and actually blamed us for “not clicking the link of the itinerary change” even though we did and it did not mention advanced caving. Very disappointing to be treated like that. BUT the guides were incredible and the biking was loads of fun. So I would say just make sure you know exactly what you’re signing up for.

Our guide Tony was great. He knew exactly where to stop and wait for the slower bikers and then he would give us fruit and coffee beans that he had picked from the trees! The trails were challenging and fun and the views were amazing.

We were glad we did a combo hike and ride. Hiking allowed us to appreciate the view and terrain more as we hiked up and down along a small hiking trail. We could also talk with our guides who were knowledgeable and friendly.

The downhill bike ride was for intermediate riders. However the only person to not slide out at least once was myself and I’m an advanced mountain biker (one endo). So you want to error on choosing an easier level of ride if you are not sure about anyone in your group. Now they did give everyone gloves, arm guards, and shin/knee guards. One negative is the tires are not knobby off road tires so this contributes to the riders needing to know how to go downhill on a slippery trail.

Views were super and the village stop was great. Good food too. etc.

I’ve done ‘mountain biking’ trips on holiday before and they have been very lame so I intentionally opted for the ‘intermediate’ option rather than purely downhill mountain biking that was open to beginners. This was a major error of judgment. When they say ‘mountain biking’ then mean ‘mountain biking’ – going down a precarious off-road track where you can barely keep traction with the ground! If you haven’t done proper mountain biking before go on the easiest route, regardless of how handy you are with a bike.

They started us all off in one group and then reassessed our abilities after 20 minutes. They had four guides with us and split us into four groups at this point according to ability – a different guide went in each group. I went in the easy group (that consisted of just me). This was on the very edge of what I could do – I snailed down the path, going so slowly I was finding it hard to steer. I’m not saying my guide found it slow but he did come down side-saddle at one point, which I’ve never seen done on a bike before. Every time we stopped he told me ‘this next bit is harder’. I don’t see how it could be done at speed – it was like fell running. And yet at the only point where I crossed paths with the others they shot down the path. Must have been doing 30mph. I doubt I was doing 3. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. Couldn’t fault the company for the attention to detail, and despite how slow I was the guide kept saying to me ‘safety first’. Excellent. The only drawback was I was concentrating so hard on the road I couldn’t spare that many glances for the forest. Looked idyllic though.

At the end we had half an hour to lounge in thatched cabins overhanging a lake – rainforest-covered mountain in the background and fish swimming at our feet as the light reflected by the water waved across the ceiling of the huts. Couldn’t have been more relaxing. Really memorable highlight of my time in Thailand.

Super exhausting yet super exciting. This adventure will challenge you. There were honestly moments when I thought I could just live in the mountains for I was too tired to carry on, but in the end the views, team effort, fantastic guide and adrenaline rush made it totally worth it. I would state however that this outing should only be attempted by those aged 18 - 45 in excellent physical condition. The 9 - 70 on the website is totally wrong - especially if you have asthma or a heart condition. Also, this is an intermediate course not easy. I am still seriously aching 2 days later!

We loved our guides. Hike and bike was difficult but they helped us through it.
Transportation was not good. We had to wait for our ride to bring us home for two hours. We both were terribly sick to our stomachs after. We think it was the food that was served.

Hello Reviewers. Thank you for your feedback I trust your stomachs have settled. We take our food services from our partner restaurants very serious. Meals for our groups are freshly and specially prepared. Retaurants are frequently monitored for cleanliness in food preperation It is more likely that the ...xtra beers consumed at your table may have contributed. We are glad your hike and bike combo trip presented a challenge and was to your satisfaction. Good luck and happy trails Aidan

The hike up the mountain was steep, but enjoyable despite a few parts where the footing was uncertain. However, the guides allowed us to set our own pace and pointed out features (e.g. ants and termites) along the way. Lunch in a mountain village was excellent and provided a well-earned rest. The bike ride down the mountain to the lake was on rutted, rough roads. It was technically challenging and more rewarding for those with considerable mountain bike experience. Again the guides were excellent and provided helpful tips.

A really nice day trip that starts at 9:30ish and gets you back to the hotel around 4ish depending on the speed you do the hike and bike at.

The tour gives you two options for the hike - either a shorter hike that starts closer to the summit and is not very difficult, or a longer route that is about 6 miles and does not go to the summit. Both finish at the Hmong village where lunch is. We chose the shorter hike with the summit which is recommended unless you want a strenuous hike.

Be warned that the mountain biking section is not for beginners. The path has depressions and shallow gullies so you need to have your wits about you. It is a controlled descent using the brakes, and it requires good control of your bike. Of course, it is quite exhilarating and one of the better things I've done in Thailand. It only took our group 1 hr 15 minutes to descend to the lake.
