About the operator
- Navigator3286162878200Great tourAbsolutel recommend to go and see these landmarks. The tour operator and guide was excellent and very informative.
- lesliecB5801GS00Highly recommended! This tour's guide, "Donna," was humorous, gave clear instruction on when and where to return to the tour bus when touring three sights, pointed out where to take good photos of the ruins. Donna's English was fairly easy to understand despite some words took me a while to get it; "renovate." The paths between and surrounding the ruins were well paved with red bricks. Fairly easy to walk on with sandals or tennis shoes. However, one still needs to be able to navigate some steps; ie. without major hip, knee or ankle issue. Please be warned that despite well air-conditioned bus, getting out and walking around to see the ruins in the heat and humidity can be a challenge. Cold water got warm quickly. The second part of the tour involved a 2-hour easy boat ride on the river. The buffet lunch on the big boat was delicious. Various entrees for various people's taste. Fresh fruits. And afternoon tea/coffee. While the tour was kind of fast-pace for me, the sacred environment actually made me very peaceful inside. It helped when there were not many tourists during beginning low season. Minus one star for leaving me stranded after the tour. The afternoon driver was not the same person, who picked me up from my hotel in the early morning. Contrary to what the tour guide reiterated. There should be a head count before driving off. After I got a hold of someone at the tour office by phone, he was able to reach the driver, who came back to pick me up, after he dropped off a couple from my same hotel. Other passengers had to ride along to my hotel twice. Their time were not respected this way. The passengers told the driver someone was missing. He drove off anyway. Language barrier?
- Virginia H00Good islands tripGoing with friends on the tour. A bit delay on departure probably because of the earlier one was late. The tour guides and the organizers were nice and friendly. Weather turned bad (started windy & rain) in the middle of the trip, at the end, not going to Khai Nai, but only the other 2. If weather is good, I believe it is a great one to go with family and friends.
- V9651QQrosies00Avoid!I read the last bad review and thought it would be fine for the price, but honestly, it was dreadful. Chaos from start to finish. The only thing that went well was the hotel pick up and kind of the lunch. Once we got to the pier there were way too many people crammed in boats, and we got taken to the floating island thing for parasailing. We hadn't booked a tour that included that, but we were expected to wait over an hour for people to take part and none of the guides spoke English even though when I booked it said they did - which is why I booked it. I was honestly fuming. We're on holiday for a week, so our time is precious to us, and it felt like we were sold something completely different to the itinerary and were then stuck in the sea. The guides didn't care at all. The beach at Coral Island was disappointing because of the amount of people. We were told we'd be leaving the island at 1pm, they then decided 2pm. We had the lunch (run by nice people) and then decided to leave the tour because we had just had enough with how badly it was run. AVOID.
- Kumar D00Very Good Tour Exploring Coral IslandGreat day out exploring coral island via speedboat.plenty of activities on board sea to choose from.would recommend Combo package that includes all the activities on sea : great value for money.when it’s comes to food go for the best ever Thai Food : End of the day you are in Thailand Than Why Not Thai Food for that taste of Thai blends and flavour? Surprise with the portion and various Thai dishes..! May find it bit uncomfortable with other people in the group who does not share similar interests as yours due to cultural background and mixed group who may hijack the day but as you go past the different activities of your own interest you will be separated from them as the tour goes along making overall wonderful experience for a Solo traveller overall. Surprisingly the tour operator arrange an evening city tour for me on a private vehicle after the tour : Was A Bonus .!!
- 842rileyb00EhhGot to see a lot, which was nice. The Pattaya sign from the pier, coral island for a bit, lunch and then went to the high view point, and Big Buddha. Trip wasn’t the most organized but was fine and seemed to be understood by the tour guides, just not us. Was disappointing in the first half because we just waited / were stuck on a floating dock while others completed their additional activities after a sales pitch. I knew that the additional activities were not included, but I thought we’d be able to wait on the beach of coral island and relax there. We were only able to do this for a little bit of time and it was after we left the group to be able to go in the water because we didn’t want to jet ski or snorkel. PS, there is cheaper options for all the activities offered on the beach of coral island. Lunch was very good. After, we got in private transportation and weren’t with the group for the rest of the time while we saw the Big Buddha and the overlook. Also there is no entry fee for the Buddha If I went back to Pattaya, I’d find a boat to coral island at the pier and go on my own, for cheaper and on my own schedule.
- ulrike p00Total DisasterTotal disaster! We booked a tour with 15 people on a small speedboat and then suddenly there were 45 people! The reason: after the Fullmoon Party yesterday, all the boatmen from the small boats were asleep. We expect a refund, let's wait and see what happens. As I said, totally rip off!
- robertdO1051VI00Great Birthday Experience in PhuketOur guide Lotus and driver Joosh were excellent. We visited the places mentioned in the tour description and several additional places too. I think my favorites were meditating at big buddha and interacting with the baby elephant and young tigers..
- SteveDrab00Ok but not greatMy wife was keen to do this as I had mentioned I tried one 25 years ago (on Orchard Road) when I was last in Singapore. Unfortunately there is probably only this one company left running and is now based near the Bugis MRT. Apparently according to my concierge it has since fallen out of favor due to overcharging tourists. Hence its decline. However, is was nice to do together and although our guide spoke no English is was enjoyable. Unfortunately it is still overpriced !!!
- Barba B00Quick essential tourWe enjoyed our tour and guide, however I do think it is overpriced. . The temples were beautiful but next time I think I would just hire a driver at half the cost.
- Sean D00No showThere was no one there to greet us we were refused entry to fast track so we had to use the normal lane which meant we missed our transfer the man caught up with us as we collected our luggage Awful very disappointed
- frederic p00Don t worth it , don t works with iPhone correctly…I came with my son (I live at phuket ) decide to go to see . I pay with a app tiqets (a lot cheaper !!! Thank you) but take 10 min to staff to find my ticket (staff who don t seems habits with ticketing ….) . So , finally we enter after to download app on my iPhone …. What I thing about this ….. my son 9 years old say”not good at all” Keep your money don’t go there If you want to visit in same time aquarium…. Don t go too visit phuket aquarium at cape pawan … lot cheaper for same stuff ….
- TianY_1200Highly recommend3 small islands, very close each other, less time for travelling. Feeding fish was fun, my daughter really enjoyed it. Highly recommend for family trip with young children.
- junacullador00Reclining Buddha of BKKAmazing is an understatement. For history & culture fanatics, this is the right place for you. Take time to read the literature plastered all over the place for a better appreciation of Thai culture & history.
- A8831DEmarkl00Highly recommendedThis was a wonderfulful night on the river. Helps to have beautiful weather. (Waited to book till we found a night like that). Good food free beer. Wine and cocktails were extra but decently priced. Enjoyed entertainment. Only reason we didn't give it five stars that you definitely want to sit on the top deck which is open to the stars. The problem is there was no option, at least on TripAdvisor, to pick where you're going to be seated ahead of time. They had us on the lower deck but we went up and checked upstairs and there was a free table and had them move us there. We got lucky! Note. We are staying in the Sukhumvit about 4 miles away. It was at least 1 hour trip by car due to horrible traffic (pickup from our hotel was included - great couple by the way) . Of course if you're in Bangkok you know that it's impossible to get anywhere from 4:00 to 7:00 at night on the streets. Tip - learn and use SkyTrain and underground.
