Other than that we had a nice day and really enjoyed our guide.

We rented one of the private pool villas that front the huge wave pool and it comes with toilet and shower, fridge full of cold drinks and a small nibble platter. There are lots of food options dotted all around the complex. There is something for everyone from extreme rides to the toddlers water section and my favourite the lazy river. We spent the whole day there but I would advise that you pre organise your transport at the end of the day as it can be a bit of an ordeal to organise.

I have visited many places in Bangkok. By using the Siam Hop bus service, the highlight here is the ability to get on or off the bus whenever you want. We always saw something different. It has 4 routes so covers all the city. Every seat on the bus has an audio guide throughout the route. If you are looking for a tour bus service, I recommend to buy tickets here.

We enjoyed the rides so much we went on all the routes (even multiple times). We also loved the audio guide (which were available in many languages). Also in the heat of Bangkok, it’s great to sit on the top desk looking at architecture and neighbourhoods with cool breeze. Highly recommended!

An easy way to soak in sights and sounds of Bangkok with helpful commentary. Four routes are available to utilize. The hop on ferry is also a very convenient way to get close to the River which was included. Quiet must be due to the corona scare but staff were excellent throughout. Audio was spot on.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hop on hop off bus. We booked with Expedia and the company I Asia sent us our vouchers and explained to us we can board at any bus stop, the nearest to us was at MBK mall. This was not far from our hotel. The bus is brand new, very clean and great standard. We took the heritage tour so we passed the main sights especially the grand palace. The bus was not that busy, they just opened the conductor said. Headphones were free and commentary in english

And whilst there are a few things here and there that can be perfected (as is the case with any new Product on the market) you are provided brand new buses of excellent standard. I would really give this service a miss.Used Hop on Hop off service in a few cities with no problems however the Bangkok service is awful. Almost impossible to find bus stops, map showing where they are inaccurate. Spent most of the day trying to find a bus and only managed to "hop on" one all day and we flagged that one down in desperation. Unlike other cities seems to be very few buses so hardly ever saw one,. could not find bus stops where the different tours on offer intersected and when managed to find Siam Hop staff they were unable to help. Complete waste of money, spend your cash on getting a metered taxi or haggle with a Tuk Tuk driver to take you where you want to go. Really poor service.

This is the best way to go around Bangkok. The bus drivers were very friendly however sometimes we could not understand what they are saying on the tour but I dont speak Thai.......we relied on the audio which was gps enabled and worked perfectly. Not many people on board but we had more attention from the staff which was great. Overall it was nice experience. Thanks.

So BAD I HAD TO DO IT twice
First waited 20 minutes for 1st bus
Did a little tour then got off to interchange
Waited 50 minutes for next bus went a couple off stops then bus stopped got kicked off and told next 1 in 50 minutes
Ripped up ticket and walked away
ABSOLUTE CRAP
in the mean time there were several other bus with an elephant on it that seemed to be very regular Don’t know there routes

“absolute crap” Is subjective....so for you it may have been but as you can see from other reviewers not the case.
Before ripping up your ticket you should have spoken to the staff as they could have refunded you if there was any issue. As an example yesterday was the Kings birthday so many roads were closed which is out of our control

Fast redemption, easy to locate the bus stops. Just check all the company's buses on their website as they have 4 routes. 24hrs is not enough because of there's a lot to go to and busy streets. Bus stops are sometimes hard to find when transferring routes but we use the app. Bus was quiet but thats no issue for us as the staff took care of us well.

This was dreadful tour. I stayed on the entire trip as I had read reviews of difficulty of catching bus when you want to hop on again. There were no identifiable signs to know where to catch next bus .... it was totally unmarked. The driver did not have English and so unable to say where to go to catch next bus if want to hop on again.
The Audio guide was behind in the timing of where the bus was and so difficult to find what the audio was referring to. Needs to improve dramatically if wants to stay in business.

Thanks for the comments but I am not sure how to reply about the bus stops. We have 50 around Bangkok. The bus stops are marked, you can also see this on the Paper maps and also on the app. In fact on the app it also shows you the location and when the next bus is due in real time.
Did you speak to the bus conductor at any time? He would have assisted you with the audio guide and sorry for that.
As you can see from past reviews it’s mostly been 5 stars and we have and are still learning as this is new product we launched.

The first Tour directly from MBK was ok. Just problems with Audio for several minutes. Then tried to communicate with staff for second Tour which was not possible due to lack of english. Tried to figure out myself were the other Tours start. Walked to Central Groove more then 1.5 km. Almost did not find the Stop. With the very kind help of the Staff at Central we found it. Then asked the Staff of Siam Hop when which Bus is going. No Bus Sire problems with Scheduling. Maybe in 2 hours. Im pissed of. Can not, under any circumstances recommend.

I write in response to your comments, and first of all wish to express regret from the people at Siam Hop for the difficulties you seem to have had.
I have passed your 1Star Review onto management. Whilst I would not expect a rating of 5Stars after reading your comments, I feel that the 1Star rating is very unreasonable.
1/ About 4 minutes of the Audio had "problems" during what would have been several hours on the bus.
2/ Yes, it is true that Staff out at the Counters, like at MBK, don't have perfect English. The staff sitting in the office on the Live Chat which can be accessed through the App do have excellent foreign language skills though, (and not just in English). So, when you felt there were communication problems at MBK you decided to "figure out yourself" where to go rather than contact the Live Chat people through the App to see if you would have better luck. I do apologise IF the field staff did not advise you to call the people in the office.
3/ There are 51 Bus Stops on the 4 Routes. Of those 51 Bus Stops, 4 do not have Signs. They are Grand Palace, National Museum, Giant Swing and Benchamabophit only, and nowhere near the clear signage posted at Groove Central's Stop. Siam Hop staff have worked very hard to get all the other stops signposted through owners of private property because Thai Law does not allow Private signage on Public/Government owned land.
4/ The timings of buses were changed slightly last Friday 6 September. In the mornings, buses run every hour on all four Routes, and in the afternoons two of the Routes continue running busses hourly and te other two run buses every two hours. I expect you had paperwork from your travel agent that was dated before the change was made and you were not accessing any information again through the App.
It seems that, had you been using the easily downloadable App, as you were instructed, the difficulties you had (except the 4 minutes of Audio problems) could have been avoided.
I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend this 1Star Review be considered by future travellers thinking of using Siam Hop.

HI Tim.....I am not familiar with the hotel....but the bus is easy to hop on......go to the mkr shopping precinct.....which has four malls joined......so mkr......catch it every 30 mins it was quite cheap and the ticket lasts 24 hours......air conditioned inside and an open part on the back on a couple of them...if in doubt just ask any information are...enjoy....
