- Fearless556258819690 contributionsAmazing Experience on the Tour!I really enjoyed the tour! It was great to see all of the sights my favourites were the Buddha Mountain and the Sanctuary of Truth was amazing to hear to stories and meanings from the guides there as well. Our tour guide Noh was really friendly, bubbly and had a great attitude! He was super helpful and kept to moral up for the group during the day! Overall would highly recommend this tour for sightseeing Pattaya!Written November 30, 2024
- David S0 contributionsOutstanding from start to finish from booking pick up point until drop off. Guide and driver outstanding. Well recommend. I willBetter than expected. itinerary as advertised when I booked does not give this tour justice. War Cemetery, Museum, River kwai Speedboat, kwai Bridge walkover, Buffet Dinner over the Kwai, Train journey on death Railway. Outstanding service Thankyou.Written November 28, 2024
- BLUEMOOM0 contributionsUnique Museum encased in a marvelous structure. This is a fascinating complex impressive for the copper structure containing exhibits on the history and culture of Siam and the Buddhist philosophy explained. It’s beautiful and unique and one could easily spend hours here.Written November 25, 2024
- howardb3760 contributionsMy tripI didn’t care for the gem place? I’m a guy and all I saw was jewelry for women. That part of f the tour just didn’t appeal to me at allWritten November 23, 2024
- V8691FFangelae0 contributionsExcellent TripExcellent trip with our very knowledgeable guide Rach. We enjoyed all the different components of the day - Jeath Museum, long tailed boat trip to the Bridge (not included in our trip, but it was in some others, but able to pay when there), train trip ( worth upgrading, which we did), walks on railway lines both at end of train trip and over River Kwai bridge. Excellent buffet lunch at restaurant with stunning views. Also visit to war graves, which was very moving. It was a long day, made longer by road accident on way back, but welll worth it. An added bonus - Rach took photos throughout the day and sent them to us all. Came away with a much greater understanding of what it took to build the bridge. Thank you 😊Written November 20, 2024

- cordellk830 contributionsEnjoyable multi museum tour with great guideLucky was a phenomenal guide. She had great knowledge of Thailand's culture and history. She was also very accommodating to minor request. Very patient and pleasant overall! As we walked through the museum, she explained some of the religious aspect of some of the pieces as well as the relations between other nations. The Jim Thompson House tour was nice as well. Learned about his connections with various distinguished people and the architecture of the house. We also went to the Gem and Mineral museum. There was a video the beginning, a walk through of the jewlry creation and shopping. They have a good range of quality items. I enjoyed my time and appreciate Elle's aka "Lucky" patience and desire to make sure we had a great experience. I hope to see her again on my next trip to ThailandWritten November 17, 2024

- summerexplorer0 contributionsBeautiful trip, slightly misleading advertisementThe trip was great. Our guide, Jom, was very nice and knowledgeable. I was worried about the heat, but we got there in the afternoon, saw one temple, did a breezy boat ride, and then saw another temple after dark that was beautifully lit up, so it was all very comfortable. I have no complaints about the trip, which was efficiently managed and interesting, but I deducted one star for the advertisement, which is wrong. There are more templed advertised than we actually saw/it‘s misleading, because they count the ones you see only from the river. We went inside to only two temples. Again, I was happy with everything in the tour, I would have just liked the advertisement to be a little clearer. I also expected to get a meal since the text said we can choose a veg or non veg meal, and there was no meal at all included. Additionally, on the boat there is a part when you feed the river fish some bread, but apparently bread is bad for fish and causes them digestive issues, so I would appreciate it if they could switch that to fish food.Written November 11, 2024
- 406pepperw0 contributionsPretty but a long driveWe spent most of our time in the van. We also were not offered to order food. We loved the boat ride and the dancer. We would have liked more history.Written November 9, 2024
- Della K0 contributionsLong but worthwhile day tripIt was like a private tour for my family (4 of us). Paid extra for pick up at our hotel at 7am. Our guide, Jira and the driver were very on time. The minivan was clean and comfortable for the long journey to and fro. Bottled water was provided. Buffet lunch was nice with a view of the river. Special mention to our guide, Jira who was very knowledgeable and spoke good English so we could understand her well. She shared a lot of interesting information about the places, and also ensured that we got the best seats on the train. She walked along with us at the small stalls after lunch and helped as translator to the shopkeepers when we were buying souvenirs. We got back to the hotel at almost 7pm but it was a good day trip, worth the money and time.Written November 5, 2024
- strings60 contributionsNice place to visitWhen I visited the first time in 2004 it was not that much going on its certainly changed now the view from here is great and it's worth a visit and it's free of charge.motor bike taxi is cheap you can speg a good few hours looking at the Bhuddas and the temple.Written November 3, 2024
- R5308VVjennys0 contributionsGreat day on River KwaiLong day but worth it. Our guide Rach and driver were excellent. Timing all day was perfect as we had enough time to walk across the bridge on the river Kwai before the train came. Did a long boat ride which was an optional extra but I really enjoyed it. Train ride on the Death Railway was interesting but the highlight of the day was the exceptional scenery when we got off the train. Buffet lunch was excellent too. All in all a wonderful day. So much sad history which we should all know about.Written November 1, 2024
- susanbN7621ST0 contributionsTime KillerI booked this tour based on its description which included the big Buddha and the cashew factory. Unfortunately you can't help a mudslide closing the big Buddha but when I asked about the cashew factory I was told its not part of the tour and that it hasn't been removed from the itinerary. Slightly misleading I would say. Daisy our tour guide was bright and bubbly however this tour was essentially being driven to 2 lookouts and being dropped in old phuket to roam market stalls. If you want to kill a couple of hours by all meansWritten October 27, 2024

The tour guide Donna was wonderful, and the river cruise with a lunch buffet exceeded our expectations. The bus was air conditioned and we were given plenty of water. Lots of opportunities for photos.

Absolutely amazing day! Start to finish! Guide was excellent. Ruins were fascinating. Lunch buffet was huge and cruise back was so much better than a bus.

We really enjoyed this trip! Our host and tour guide, First, was excellent! He was very personable, funny and knew his stuff! The big finale on the riverboat was a great finish too with an excellent buffet with something for everyone. One word of advice, don’t wear shorts and a sleeveless shirt unless you want to hand over extra money for proper attire.

Everything about this trip was great. Very punctual hotel pick-up, nice, large, air-conditioned bus, a super great guide (Farst or First), who was not only very informative, but also very fun and affable and spoke excellent English... Ayutthaya is definitely worth a trip!! Also the return trip by boat including lunch buffet and coffee/tea was great. Return transfer to the hotel also included. we booked the tour on site in Bangkok.

Magnificent place, it's a shame that we still exploit the elephants if not a nice guide who even offered my daughter a small elephant key.
