About the operator
- IndranilS5100Well organised tour with a great tour guideWe took this to visit some of the key monuments of Bangkok. The tourguide, Oddi was very knowledgeable and helpful. She allowed us to see the temples and palaces at our own pace. Highly recommended.
- 520steffij00Grand palace and temple tour - PrivateIt was a memorable trip. We enjoyed the breathtaking view. Although, the humidity made it s bit too tiring to enjoy the experience. 100$ per person for this trip was definitely NOT worth it!
- 400judem00Great experienceThis was an excellent tour we were promptly picked up by our guide Jodi, who then took us in a car to each of the infamous temples. We started with the golden Buddha temple, followed by the emerald Buddha and grand palace then finishing of with the laying Buddha temple. Jodi was very informative and explained to us the great history of each of the places and took several pictures for us. The pick up car is excellent equipped with water which is good because it got quite hot. But this is a great way to see all the cultural sites in Bangkok. Highly recommended for couples.
- K2615YUmichaelar00Brilliant tourOur tour guide Oddi was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable on Thai history, Buddhism and the Grand Palace/Temples that we visited. Half a day is a perfect amount of time to see the beauty of these places and learn about the interesting culture of the Thai people. Oddi taught us how to fold the petals of a lotus flower to present to Buddha as an offering, and we lit incense and candles to pray for a happy life. Oddi took photos of us and showed us the best positions to take photos of the temples throughout the tour.
- Ulrich9222300Half Day Excursion to Railway and Floating MarketHad dedicated car to / from Bangkok. About a 90 minute drive. Drive was relaxing thanks to the driver’s professional operation. Mrs.Joyfully, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure! Stopped at Meklong Railway Market. Wide variety market. Rather colorful. Stuff seems to be cheaper compared to floating market. If one is only concerned with a train ride and the railway market, it is rather cheap just to take a round trip ticket from Bangkok to Meklong. The train stops for 30 minutes in Meklong which is just enough time to stroll up and down the market once, or one takes the next train back about three hours later. Educational the stop at the coconut flower sugar manufacturing place concerning how to manufacture a different type of sugar. The stop at the Chang Peak Camp with Elefant and tame “tiger” although interesting was not too much of our liking due to keeping such magnificent animals in close areas although it seems they make an effort to make them as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The floating market was certainly different. Different food and tourist stuff. Very colorful. Need to bargain a lot to meet pricing comparable to railway market. We were very happy with the non-motor boat ride. Slower, much more tranquil, quieter, more time to observe. Certainly recommended over a noisy motorized boat. Very nice experience lasting almost an hour. The excursion started with a 7am pickup and 2pm drop-off at our hotel. We /Joyfully purchased delicious fruit snacks during the day. No negative aspects or concerns of any kind.
- connorc90500Amazing cultural learning ExperienceOur tour guide Oddi was absolutely amazing. We learned so much from her and you can really tell she loves her job, her culture, and her country. Would highly recommend this tour and even higher recommendation for Oddi! We learned so much! Thank you!
- JohnB05600An excellent private tourAn excellent tour, well organised, and well run. We were met at the hotel promptly (actually 5 minutes ahead of time!) and taken in the comfortable car to the first stop on the tour where we saw the hugely impressive solid gold Bhudda. A wonderful experience and the guide was very knowledgeable and communicative, imparting lots of useful information. We started early and got in here ahead of the rush which meant we ha d plenty of time to assimilate the whole site. On return to the car, there were bottles of water, which kept being replenished during the tour - very welcome as it was quite warm and humid. We went to the second site which was the Royal Grand Palace which was hugely impressive. It is quite a large site with lots to see, but again our guide was excellent. We were really glad we had arranged a private tour, as some of the groups we saw were quite large in size, and I am sure they were missing out on some of the detail we were getting. One thing I should add was that the pace of the tour was just right - not too fast, and not too slow, and the guide helpfully pointed out some ideal spots to stand on in order to get decent views for photos. She also provided a lotus flower for an offering at the temple - demonstrating the method of folding the petals to make it perfect - and some incense sticks and a candle for us to have a few quiet reflective prayers as well. The last site was the Wat Pho complex with the reclining Bhudda and much more. All very much worth seeing. The whole experience was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had considered doing the whole day tour, but were glad that we had limited it to the half day - any more and we would not have been able to absorb as much as we did. We would definitely recommend the half day tour rather than the full day one - if you find you do want more there is always another day!
- tylerhB4011XD00Great intro to BangkokThis was the perfect way to start our time in Bangkok. It was a great way to get to see the major highlights of the city relatively quickly. Our tour guide Joy was such a delight and was so knowledgeable about the history of the city, country, and our particular sites. I would recommend this excursion to anybody visiting Bangkok!
- maryclaytons00Amazing experienceThe tour guide was super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It was an amazing tour and the highlight of my trip!
- justpumpitlouder00Excellent Tour, Informative and InspiringThis was one of my favorite tours in Thailand. It was a private tour, so my friend and I spent the day with our tour guide solo. She knew so much about the temples, it was amazing. Everything was so beautiful. You’ll be doing a lot of walking and it’s hot, so wear something comfortable and light— but remember, you have to wear pants and cover your shoulders in the temple. The temple guards enforce those rules. During this tour, our guide took the time to get to know us, thoroughly explained everything, bought us flowers and incense to leave at the temple, bought us water and Thai iced tea, she even helped push some rude tourists out of the way for us! She was amazing, this tour was worth every single penny and then some! The guide even helped me get better angles for my pictures! What more can you ask for? The transfer was also easy and flawless. I am so glad I did this tour— if you’re on the fence, do book this tour, you’ll learn so much and feel like a VIP all day. I’m going to be thinking about this tour for a long time (in a good way). One of the best tour guides I’ve ever had TBH.
- 750tedf00Grand palace and templesOddi is an amazing guide. She arrived on time to collect us and to our surprise we were the only people on the excursion so the tour was very personalised. Very clear english, and was very informative. Gave us plenty of time to wander around, always there to answer questions and knew where to take the best photos. She didn’t rush us but she was so interesting that time flew by.
- angelalQ4392OR00Excellent GuideOddi was absolutely amazing and very informative. She answered all of our questions and gave us the most wonderful experience. She really made us feel welcome and I could not imagine a better tour of these places. I would recommend her to anyone.
- hoxiejm00Temple tourThis was a good tour. A lot in a little time. All the temples were beautiful. Our tour guide was very informative. And super nice
- docpainter00This guide is excellent!!Our guide Oddi was very responsive to our unique interests. The half day at Grand Palace and 3 other temples was just the right amount of time as it all quite overwhelming. Her english is excellent and the balance of historical detail and human interest stories was just right. At the grand place, she showed us how to fold lotus petals for our offering to the Buddha. We ended up booking another tour with her a couple days later to cover exactly what we wanted to see, the rail and floating market, shopping for clothes, and visit to (apparently) last place in Bangkok to make alms bowls. Oddi is a treasure.
- igorb89700Excellent Tour.Excellent tour with our guide Ms. Pookie. Amazing temples, a lot of historical information from our guide. Great lunch ( not included) with excellent input about local food from our guide. A minivan with a/c was a bonus.

Booked this tour as had already been to Bangkok last year but when here did not get the opportunity to see everything I wanted to and being able to choose where to go was ideal (or so I though)...
I wanted to go to Yaowarat and we did go but felt like my guide just wanted to rush through the visit there, I also wanted to go to Khao SAN road and was told you don’t want to go there, that is for young people’ Well I did want to go there, if only to see it and booked the tour with that a firm choice on my itinerary... instead I was taken to the flower market... I still wonder if I was taken there purely because the guide wanted to go there... and finally I was taken to Pratunam market, which was ok, but felt that I couldn’t barter and at this point was so disappointed I left early and came back to my hotel.

Booked through viatour. Our tour guide was completely useless and not a great English speaker. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate some schedule changes we had due to traffic from hua hin to Bangkok but I was extremely disappointed in the detail and info provided by our tour guide. We could have done every single activity by ourselves in a similar amount of time.
Our guide provided no history, no detail, no value to our experience and essentially could have been replaced with a chauffeur. Maybe we were constrained by traffic and other timings beyond my understanding but I also googled some of the outrageous claims our tour guide made and they seemed to be made up on the spot.
I hate to speak ill of someone but I feel that we were scammed. I’m not the type to give bad reviews but in this case I felt I had to warn other travelers that they’re in for an experience... but not the one they’re looking for. What a waste of our only afternoon in Bangkok. On the positive side we got a few pictures.
