Ayutthaya is absolutely a daytrip worth, on short distance of Bangkok. Go on a not so sunny day, as much is without shade. Geng (guide) gave interesting explanations without overloading us with information. Both he and the driver were without doubt good and careful. We were family of 5, with 2 elderly people.

Asked for a trip by Email and everything was ok. Bevor final agreement, she forgot about the "includes" that she offered me and i should pay double. Then she stopped replying to my emails, very arrogant people/company, take care about it

We had about 8 hours to fill between arriving in Bangkok and leaving for Chiang Mai so wanted a tour of the city. Mr Tee was very friendly, we explained what we wanted and he took us around the city on the metro and by boat. We visited lots of places off the usual tourist trail and really enjoyed ourselves. Fantastic tour of Bangkok, focusing on the royal palace, followed by the flower market, Chine town plus eating and experiencing local foods. Uma our guide, used her knowledge of Bangkok navigating the Sky train, Tut tuts and the underground to maximise our experience. Uma was first class, both Sue and I had a full and fabulous day. what an experience! on our own we would never have learnt so much, got to places so quickly and spent time with our lovely guide, Uma. She made the trip and we were walking for over 9hrs and saw the Palace, Wat Arun, China Town, Flower Market, Tuk Tuk rides and so much more. Would definately recommend without a doubt.

The tour was awesome, the guide was very nice and friendly. He knows Bangkok very well and showed us all places we wanted to see. It was interesting to get some insights about the life in Thailand from a citizen. I totally recommend to visit the city with this guide and we were glad to have it booked.

We had a brilliant day exploring Bangkok with Geng as our guide! We visited so many places we lost count, ate delicious lunch on the river and got to see the lesser visited areas of Bangkok! Geng was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made us feel really at home in his beautiful city. There’s a lot of walking, so be sure to put on comfy shoes and pack sunscreen! We had an amazing day with our guide, Uma. She listened to what we wanted to see and planned the entire tour accordingly. Uma provided us with a wealth of fascinating information about the places we visited. We also requested a vegetarian lunch, and she did not disappoint. Along the way, she found a delicious restaurant that catered to our dietary preferences. We highly recommend her as a guide!

This was a beautiful experience, Kwan my tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the temples and the palace I learned so much from her she is an amazing individual we have so much in common but live Worlds Apart. She is one of the best tour guides that I have encountered during my stay here in Bangkok because I've had several other tours. She took lots of pictures because I am a Solo Traveler she was Hands-On with helping me take pictures at various locations. I was very grateful to her. Mr. Kim was an amazing local Thai guide that spoke perfect English and knew the area so well! He took me to many incredible places for several days in a nice car while teaching me about Bangkok and taking lots of great pictures of me. Then he even went out of his way to buy a tapestry for me from a temple and delivered it to my hotel after the tour was over since I didn’t have a car or time, would not have been able to get it without his help! Highest recommendation for this tour and Mr. Kim 🙌

Our guide Geng was great. He personalised our tour based on the time we had and what we were interested in seeing. He definitely knew his Thai history and took us to sites and areas we wouldn't have otherwise seen. I would highly recommend this tour and Geng as your guide.

We found Explorenique via a recommendation on an online travel forum and decided to book a tour guide to take us around the palaces and temples of Bangkok since this was our first time there and we had limited time in the city. Our tour guide Nok was lovely, friendly and instantly made us feel welcome to Thailand. She met us at our hotel early and in the space of 5 hours we managed to visit the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun, and Wat Pho and the reclining Buddha (which were the highlights we really wanted to see above all else). Her knowledge of Bangkok allowed her to manage our time effectively, while also ensuring we saw all that we wanted to see without ever feeling rushed or time pressured. She also managed to take us to Golden Mount Temple as an extra stop and used different modes of transport to take us between locations, which included a boat trip along the river that allowed us to see more of the city from a different perspective. Not only was Nok charismatic and informative but it felt as if we were being shown around by a friend. She also took lots of photos of us at all the points of interest and sent them to us after our tour, which we really appreciated. She captured beautiful memories which we will treasure for a lifetime. We learnt a lot about Bangkok, it’s history and Thai culture - she even taught us some Thai phrases which we used throughout the rest of our travels around Thailand and sent them to us on WhatsApp so we wouldn’t forget them. At the end of our tour Nok took us back to our hotel, in time for our food tour later that evening. I really recommend both Nok and Explorenique as we found it invaluable having a local tour guide show us the main points of interest in Bangkok. We thought it was really good value for money as the tour is customisable to suit your own itinerary and provides you with a private guide for up to 8 hours. We definitely would not have managed to see and do so much in the time we had by ourselves and would have struggled to find our bearings and get around the city so quickly without Nok. As the weather forecast was a bit harsh on my first trip touring Bangkok, I wanted a safe and comfortable way to explore the city given my limited time.
