- joannesJ8089QB00Good experienceRailway market was amazing. Floating market was good but spoiled by fumes/noise from motor boats. Guide was very good.
- I1653NJlindak00Good value tripThis tour takes you to 4 different sites and includes lunch. Out guide Boeing was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. The driver, No 2 driver in Thailand, drove carefully and also provided homemade traditional Thai treats which were delicious. We had time to look around each site before moving on. This was a well organised trip that ran smoothly. Pick up is either from your hotel, although this costs extra 200bht per person, or from the company’s offices. Drop off is at the MBK centre. Lunch was a selection of traditional Thai dishes and all were very good.
- I1653NJlindak00Train great floating market not soWe were picked up on time from our hotel, the mini bus was very comfortable with good aircon. Our guide, Suzie was very knowledgeable and gave as lots of info about various sites as we travelled. Our first stop was a local train station where we boarded the train to take us to the train market. We then walked through the market and watched the train come back through. It would have been nice to have had some time to explore the train market but unfortunately this wasn’t possible. After this we went to the floating market but here it felt like this was just for tourists and not a local market. The prices were ridiculously high, I was quoted 800bht for a waving cat that was 100bht in Bangkok MBK centre! It’s quite nice to be on the canal and look at the stalls but you really don’t want to buy anything here it’s a complete rip off. We had lunch at the local market which was ok, the cost of this isn’t included in the tour. There was time to wander around the market here but as it was geared to tourists prices were high. To conclude, the train market was great. The floating market was not just for tourists and very pricey. The guide Suzie was fab as was the bus. A well organised tour.
- Brian3343500An interesting dayAn enjoyable tour to see floating market again after 35 years. I met nice people and the trip was nice. Seeing the train a bit anticlimactic but certainly different.
- P7252CUadrians00A fun trip with lots to seeThe tour was a great experience. Sara , our tour guide was fantastic. She was very warm and charismatic, and spent her time explaining everything to make sure we understood. She even taught us the Thai alphabet to how to count so that we could barter at the market. Instructions were always clear and she made sure that we were as comfortable as possible. It goes by quite quickly so wear comfortable shoes! It it very crowded at the markets. The less you carry with you the better.
- OliverG0500Must do tripBrilliant morning trip! Highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the floating market and the cool train market - Sara was a great host
- JTSZ00Fun!What a fun tour! The train tour was really quite amazing! I am so glad we did it. Such a unique experience. The floating market tour was also fun. We had time to grab something to eat and do a little bit of shopping. They have some really great things to buy at that market. We had some miscommunication with the company about our booking and they handled it professionally. I would absolutely book with this tour angency again.
- HannahF123200Fantastic cooking courseWhat an amazing experience. Our guide was very passionate about everything. We enjoyed walking around the market and learning how to make a few dishes. So much amazing food, make sure you don’t eat before this activity.
- bdenvers00Amazing tour! This was an amazing tour, very well executed! Also had the best Thai food for lunch at the market. Truly memorable!
- gotthetravelbug201800Alex’s group! 👋🏼Alex was our tour guide for the day and his warm bubbling personality made our trip so special! We enjoyed all the stops on the trip, especially the street food tasting and getting to a good vantage point for the train to pass us. The only thing that would have better would be to have a bit more time to explore at the stops. It seemed like we were a bit rushed to go to the next stop.
- Companion52012500Amazing dayAmazing day! Sara was an incredible guide with excellent local knowledge and the train and floating markets are a must see.
- inggep00Knowledgeable guideThe tour was excellent. We were picked up on time. Our guide, SuperBoy is a wealth of information. There were plenty of drinks available and umbrellas if needed to avoid the scorching sun. The time was just enough to visit all the important temples. Unlike other tours, this one does not visit stores. Food was alright. Special thanks to our driver, A, for driving safely and providing us drinks. Will use BigCountry Experience again if given the chance.
- E1248CEmichaelh00The REAL Thailand!Bit of a journey by minibus from downtown Bangkok to reach the railway station, but worth every minute to then ride on a train that then passes within inches of the market stallholders at the floating market! This was then followed by a boat ride, right into the heart of the floating market - the whole experience really brought home the fact that I was in an environment so different from anything I have ever experienced before! Definitely to be recommended if you get the chance!
- MikeLinda2300Excellent tripBrilliant trip which was very well organised and ran like clockwork. Both destinations were excellent and we also saw quite a lot of the countryside.
- Samosaby121800Amazing Half Day Trip Outside of BangkokSara was an amazing guide. She was considerate and informative. You can really learn something new about Thailand on her trips. She is also generous. Sara bought our whole group Thai banana dessert and rambutan. The trip is also fun. You get to see 2 types of special markets outside of Bangkok and get back with about 3-4 hours to spare before it gets dark. Definitely recommend this trip to those who want to experience something different from the city streets of Bangkok.

Very professionally run tour company but pointless going there. The trade/traditional market starts at 4am & finishes by 7am. The tour is targeted at tourists. You hope on a boat, which stops at each & every land based permanent junk shop selling rubbish. Every body in the boat said no at every junk shop but boat driver kept us at each junk shop longer until we all said no several times. The whole charade was pointless as it just annoyed the customers & the junk shop sellers sold nothing. The only nice thing was the passing boats with food.

Loved loved loved Sarah! She was an amazing tour guide! So sweet and informative! We all agreed we'd follow Sarah to the end of the earth.
We stopped by a small coconut sugar operation before heading to the market.
At the market, Sarah gave us great advice on where to find the better deals and what prices to expect to pay so we could negotiate.
Both driving there and back, she gave us plenty of information, but also gave us time to relax.

Waste of time. Huge tourist trap. The taxis are in on the blag, they take you to an access point that their friends control and absolutely pull your pants down about the price. 90% of the shops are closed. the guide didn’t talk to us all the shops sold the same crappy cliché merch.

Soo much fun! We were picked up at our hotel on time and our guide was Sara, she was the best! She made us laugh throughout the day and was always passing along local/cultural information which was fascinating. We were expecting a good time but Sara made it awesome and we were fortunate enough to be put together with a great group of people that day. Thank you Sara!

This was an excellent experience. Our tour guide Victor was incredibly knowledgeable and kind.
I expected to go to the floating market, and was surprised with a stop at the coconut and salt farms and a ride through one of the street markets.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

This is a good tour but it felt like a lot of travelling for two sites. Having said that we loved both and would recommend, but maybe not even f you have little ones.
The days was paced well, with plenty of time at both the railway and floating market. The guides were excellent and always on hand if you had questions.

3 stars are for Dui, who was really knowledgeable and great with photo-taking. Personally though, I was disappointed by the markets and felt the long journey there wasn’t worth it. As it’s quiet at the moment, stall holders were really pushy and all sold almost exactly the same tourist-y stuff- We were hoping for a more local experience which we unfortunately didn’t get. I’d also like to add a disclaimer for tourists who seek out more ethical trips as this is something we wish we knew in advance: we found it quite distressing seeing so many animals used as photo props, such as snakes which seemed at the very least to have been de-fanged and were repeatedly trying to escape, as well as slow loris’ which were basically catatonic and being kept awake during the day (they’re nocturnal animals!! And a protected species!). Ultimately, while Dui was a really good guide, I’d opt for a different tour with him knowing what I know now.

Sara was my tour guide and not only was she very knowledgeable but she is a sweet person who contributed to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
We visited a home that sold coconut byproducts. The floating market tour is a must do if you’re in Thailand. I enjoyed being immersed in the culture and seeing how a different side of the world looks and operates. The market was busy , lots of products to choose from including local foods.
The tour was very well organized and great value for your money. Thumbs up to both Sara and the driver. Thank you Sara for the tamarind ball :-) . That was so thoughtful of you. Continue to keep up the great work and wishes for a thriving business.

Warning, it's a tourist trap. It's not the original floating market that you saw in Gold Finger movie.

Cheating service by this group of boat agent, we booked 3 hours and they just offer 2 hours service and said our booking only 2hours while they charge us $200 for 3hours but service only 2hours.
Nothing to see there, location promoting is over it real to proof. Very disappointed to see this place
