We enjoyed our tour with Donald very much! Great food experience and detailed information about food culture and ingredients. Beside of the tastings on the street, the market visit was definitely a highlight! Unbelievable variety of fruits, vegetables, fish, seafood and different meat, accompanied by little food stalls where You can taste everything! Donald was a great host, funny, informative, the perfect guide! 100% recommended!

It was my teen daughter’s first time in Bangkok and this was the kind of tour that we were looking for. Not the cookie cutter kind that brings you in big tour buses and just goes thru the motions of the temples and city landmarks. Chef Hnoi took us to BKK gems from a local’s perspective, and along the way met her friends and colleagues working in the markets, handmade craft artisans, etc. She was also able to customize the tour for us according to what we wanted to see. We did not realize that we have been walking around for 3 hours because every moment was both entertaining and informative. The highlight for us was going to the local food and flower market, and visiting the subway station that had artifacts from hundreds of years back. Of course the temple visits were a must, and our timing was perfect as it was away from the busy crowds. Highly recommend Chef Hnoi with her extensive knowledge and great communication skills! Oh and did I mention that she takes great photos too?

Kim (Apicha) was great ! We enjoyed local food and drinks in the beautiful China Town and Golden Ruler! Food was amazing, and the company even better. He has a lot of knowledge and passion for food and he makes you feel safe... crossing the streets of bangkok is no joke ! Thank you :)

Moddy was AMAZING! She teaches you so much about Thai 🇹🇭 food and culture. If you are an experienced thai food taster, she offers you the chance to eat like the locals in Bangkok. She also speaks perfect English and makes you feel comfortable. WE LOVED IT! We will request her again for another tour next time we are in Bangkok.

Tai is an amazing host with very good English. She is listening very well and tries to comfort all needs of her guests. With a great sense of humor she is giving you a great introduction of her culture. Exploring Bangkok with her was a tasty, inspiring and fun experience.

Thanks to Miau (hope I used the right spelling for her nickname) I had the opportunity exploring three different food markets, tasting plenty of fruits and dishes and had no questions left. We never would have experienced Bangkok the way we did without Chef Hnoi and only wish we would have booked her earlier in our trip! Our family of 8 booked a tour with Chef Hnoi and everyone is still talking about how much they enjoyed the experience. Chef Hnoi was very tactful in organizing the tour based on interests and language and physical capabilities of our large family. Hnoi walked us through a local shopping center where we learned about and tried local foods, and she pointed out some trustworthy vendors. She then walked us through the flower market and helped us find/try a local fruit a friend had recommended. Hnoi was always quick to point out what was unique about each of the places and items we experienced. For instance, a small museum that’s a hidden gem inside an MRT station! We then headed to a local temple. The highlight of the tour was her knowledge about the history of the places we visited, the etiquette to follow, and the important meanings of what we saw to local culture. At the end, we asked for recommendations for a local eatery and she made sure we were taken care at the restaurant before she left us. She is also an excellent photographer and sent us some beautiful pictures at the end! We loved every moment of our experience and wholesome recommended Chef Hnoi!

Our guide Khant was highly knowledgeable and very elegant. It was thoughtful to combine knowledge of the history- traditional story telling ( she was engaging ) and a blessing. Did aspire to meet the monks and meditate a little at least with them but our walking meditation with Khant made up for that. Highly recommended to seek out Khant- beautiful guide !

Our familiy had 4 days in Bangkok, in which we wanted to learn more about the highlights and history of the city. We chose Chef Hnoi from Withlocals to guide our tour. She guided us through temples, China town and the Flower marked. We had a really great day (a bit warm :-) ), and learned a lot about Bangkok. Our guide's English skills (she have lived in USA for many years) made communication very easy. A big thank you to Chef Hnoi!

Crazy place but fun DJ's blasting music from every bar. Kid friendly but not the best place to take a kid. O went with my family, but they are all older 24

We had an amazing tour with Tuangtip who showed us more than we expected. She's a very warm and welcoming person. She showed us many places in the canals and told us interesting stories. We got lots of information about the old and the new days. We would definitely book Tuangtip again.

Artty was an excellent guide - we spent our first day in Bangkok with him and it was the best possible way to kick off our trip. Artty was friendly, enthusiastic, and so informative! We saw so many sites including multiple temples. Normally our eyes would have glazed over by the time we hit temple #3 but Artty had such fascinating stories about each one the afternoon flew by! He taught us so much about the cultural history and significance of what we were looking at, I feel like I have a much deeper appreciation for the Thai culture and its people. We also walked past many food stalls and got to try a variety of local snacks. Of note, we also got to experience multiple modes of local transportation - tuktuk, boat, bus… it was all so fun! Artty was great with our 11 yr old son too. If you have a sense of adventure and want to learn about Thai history and culture, then I would absolutely recommend Artty 100%!
