What to expect
Meet a guide at a centrally located train station and then board an open-air tuk tuk for an evening trip through the city. You’ll pass along the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which lights up after dark, and pass some of Bangkok’s key landmarks. The menu changes to keep the experience fresh and flavorful, but favorite bites include pork satay, curried meats, and sesame dumplings in ginger soup. In Chinatown, follow the meal with an array of desserts—a sweet introduction to a colorful neighborhood. Tastings are paired with an array of soft drinks, as well as a cold Thai beer served at one stop. The evening concludes in Chinatown, close to top attractions and public transit.

A brilliant experience for local street cuisine

A fantastic experience and great way to see a less-touristy side of Bangkok. Our guide Elena was a delight, as she shared not only her passion for regional food and street vendor specialties, but also the culture and history of Thailand.
Hot tip - Don’t eat for at least four hours beforehand, there is so much food to be experienced on this tour!
Highly recommended!

Unmissable tour for foodies

An amazing tour of the best Bangkok has to offer in its endless supply of street food and night markets. The food was amazing, the Tuk Tuk riding super fun, Expique was extremely accommodating with regards to our numerous personal requirements, and our guide Ned was honestly one of the best guides we’ve had in any tour ever.

Best food tour ever? Definitely!
We had an excellent time on this tour! Our tour guide Jib was ah-maz-ing! She was extremely knowledgeable about all types of Thai food and cooking methods/ingredients. We tried so many things that by the end of the tour we had to start saying no to things we could try because we had no more room left 🤣. It was also an excellent way to have a tuk tuk experience without having to haggle. We all have very fond memories of feeling the night air on our faces on the way to our various destinations in the open (covered) tuk tuk. So many of the vendors remarked to Jib that they were so happy to see as it was the first time in 2 years because of covid. We also did this tour on our first night in Bangkok which really helped guide us in selecting dishes during the rest of our trip. I cannot highly recommend this tour enough - sitting here 10 days later and I’m wishing it was what we were doing tonight! Take this tour, do the private one like we did if you can swing it as it’s so much more personalized and arrive very very very hungry!!!

Awesome food tour

Loved this tour - got to try all kinds of delicious food, ride around in our own tuk tuk, and it felt very personalized to our preferences while still getting us out of our comfort zone to try new things. We stopped at Wat Arun which was absolutely beautiful lit up at night. Ai was a wonderful guide, very friendly and we learned a lot about Bangkok from her which was great for our first night in town. Highly recommend!

Delicious foodie tour

Excellent experience worth the money and time! This tour is great for foodies! Come HUNGRY! We were able to try new foods and places we would have never located on our own. Our tour guide Net was great as well. No language barrier. She had a great relationship with the vendors as well. Ned was able to answer all of our questions and teach us a thing or two about the culture.

Super tour of BKK by tuktuk and Khlong Longtail boat..

A super fun and friendly tour of some of BKK’s highlights by tuktuk.. we added in the Khlong tour as well, so whilst it made for a longer 5+ hours we got to experience more unique aspects to life and culture in Bangkok. We loved it and would highly recommend Expique Tours..

Amazing

A year later we are still talking about this food tour. It was such a amazing way to experience Bangkok and really get a scene of the food, people and city. Riding around on Bangkok via Tuk Tuk is a magical experience and combined with amazing food makes this a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Expique was great and provided more food than you could eat. Literally it was one of the few times in my life where I ate so much I became hungry again. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

Great Evening

We took the small group tour nearly 12 months ago and thoroughly enjoyed the tour along with 6 other people. The guide was first class and the driver excellent and we sampled 6 dishes in a variety of locations. The tour is well put together and I thoroughly recommend it when hopefully things get back to normal. This was part of a super holiday and a definite highlight

Amazing tour with amazing food. Got to try some of the best meals I have had in Asia! Really authentic and delicious food. And you get to see some really beautiful places in Bangkok by fun transport. Would recommend this to everyone!!

Evening full of gastronomic surprises!

Our dear Belgian friends who had to leave Bangkok last summer organised a farewell food tour for 10 friends. What a fun way to enjoy the city in a different way, even though Bangkok feels like home for us. The busy evening vibration, the hidden street food gems, but above all the excellent organisation from the friendly staff. We really felt at ease, we just enjoyed the tuk tuk rides, being amongst friends and the food with a beer! We will definitely do this again next time (when will this be ;) ) we have friends from oversees visiting.
