🇬🇧 WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - 🇮🇹 PEGGIORE ESPERIENZA DI SEMPRE
🇬🇧 Our trip to Thailand in early January was an absolute nightmare, and I cannot express enough disappointment. Let's start with the hotels: they were of the lowest quality, miles away from the enticing pictures we had seen online. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with bathrooms leaving much to be desired. The air conditioning didn't work properly, leaving us with sleepless nights in hot and stuffy environments. But the real low blow came with the organized tours. They were chaotic, with groups so crowded that it was impossible to enjoy the attractions. The organizers seemed totally incapable of managing the situation, leaving us at the mercy of confusion and frustration. Viviana, Alessandro, and Andrea, our travel liaisons, were practically unreachable. There was no assistance from them, and when we finally managed to get in touch, they treated us with rudeness and indifference. We spent several days without receiving any response from them, leaving us completely abandoned and unsupported. The accommodations were equally disappointing. In addition to the poor cleanliness, we were faced with a neglected and unwelcoming environment. The organizers, instead of solving the problems, seemed more interested in making us feel uncomfortable, with rude and uncooperative attitudes. In conclusion, I would never recommend anyone to go through such an experience. It was a complete waste of time, money, and energy. I sincerely hope that the agency takes serious steps to improve its services, otherwise, they risk losing the trust of their customers permanently.

Half Day Excursion to Railway and Floating Market
Had dedicated car to / from Bangkok. About a 90 minute drive. Drive was relaxing thanks to the driver’s professional operation. Mrs.Joyfully, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure! Stopped at Meklong Railway Market. Wide variety market. Rather colorful. Stuff seems to be cheaper compared to floating market. If one is only concerned with a train ride and the railway market, it is rather cheap just to take a round trip ticket from Bangkok to Meklong. The train stops for 30 minutes in Meklong which is just enough time to stroll up and down the market once, or one takes the next train back about three hours later. Educational the stop at the coconut flower sugar manufacturing place concerning how to manufacture a different type of sugar. The stop at the Chang Peak Camp with Elefant and tame “tiger” although interesting was not too much of our liking due to keeping such magnificent animals in close areas although it seems they make an effort to make them as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The floating market was certainly different. Different food and tourist stuff. Very colorful. Need to bargain a lot to meet pricing comparable to railway market. We were very happy with the non-motor boat ride. Slower, much more tranquil, quieter, more time to observe. Certainly recommended over a noisy motorized boat. Very nice experience lasting almost an hour. The excursion started with a 7am pickup and 2pm drop-off at our hotel. We /Joyfully purchased delicious fruit snacks during the day. No negative aspects or concerns of any kind.

          Terrible experience
Very disappointed with experience. I was informed less than 24 hours before the tour that it was cancelled and did not receive any response to numerous calls and messages. Still waiting on refund and response to me messages.

Exploring the Floating Market and More
Great overall experience-a must do while visiting Bangkok. Pickup at the hotel was great. Comfortable transport to and from the markets. Oddi was a great guide who communicated well, helped us navigate the markets, and provided excellent information on Thai history and culture. We got an extra stop at a Coconut plantation. The boat trip through the floating market was a lot of fun. Sorry for the impacts of the pandemic as there were not many tourists in the area. The coconut pancakes are a must try. The railroad market is a busy Asian market with an interesting twist - the train drives right through the middle. It is interesting to see all the ship owners move their goods out of the way and then back again when the train passes.

Fabulous day and made me decide to live here and get out of the UK
We let the tour go on without us. We sat in a cafe in the temple grounds, had coffee, and as my friend is Thai, we went to speak with some of the monks. It was a fab day all round

          The worst tour ever
I like traveling and also doing tours This was by far the worst: Grand Palace and temples in Bangkok half day. Not due to crowd or heat but due to the tour guide: unprofessional, making cheap jokes insulting different people and cultures such as Jews, Muslims or Japanese and expressing his limited belief regarding gender or sexuality Such a pity! To be avoided

The Temple of the Golden Buddha
This is one of the most magnificent and majestic images of the Buddha in south east asia. The temple's architecture is simply astonishing and presents a stellar enshrined place for the Buddha. I highly recommend enthusiastic tourists to visit this awesome temple.

          Great idea in theory!
Booked this tour as had already been to Bangkok last year but when here did not get the opportunity to see everything I wanted to and being able to choose where to go was ideal (or so I though)... I wanted to go to Yaowarat and we did go but felt like my guide just wanted to rush through the visit there, I also wanted to go to Khao SAN road and was told you don’t want to go there, that is for young people’ Well I did want to go there, if only to see it and booked the tour with that a firm choice on my itinerary... instead I was taken to the flower market... I still wonder if I was taken there purely because the guide wanted to go there... and finally I was taken to Pratunam market, which was ok, but felt that I couldn’t barter and at this point was so disappointed I left early and came back to my hotel.

          Useless
Booked through viatour. Our tour guide was completely useless and not a great English speaker. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate some schedule changes we had due to traffic from hua hin to Bangkok but I was extremely disappointed in the detail and info provided by our tour guide. We could have done every single activity by ourselves in a similar amount of time. Our guide provided no history, no detail, no value to our experience and essentially could have been replaced with a chauffeur. Maybe we were constrained by traffic and other timings beyond my understanding but I also googled some of the outrageous claims our tour guide made and they seemed to be made up on the spot. I hate to speak ill of someone but I feel that we were scammed. I’m not the type to give bad reviews but in this case I felt I had to warn other travelers that they’re in for an experience... but not the one they’re looking for. What a waste of our only afternoon in Bangkok. On the positive side we got a few pictures.

          Meklong Railway Market
Don't give a miss in a 25 mins train ride from Ba Na Kwang station to Meklong Train Market. It was a fabulous ride till the end. While reaching the market you are able to catch the people scattering to safety and vendor closing their canvas shelters and storing their stocks away from the track to allow the train pass. If u are able to go to back of the train you have a better vision of what's happening after the train passes, vendors will put up their canvas shelters again and business resume immediately

          Great tour of Bangkok
We only had 2 full days in Bangkok and wanted to see quite a lot so booked this trip and it included most of the things we wanted to see. We were ready early so decided to head to the lobby to wait which was great timing as our guide was also early and we were able to set off before the scheduled pick up time. The trip included the Grand Palace, Golden Buddha and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and our guide was very knowledgeable and really informative which helped us to get more out of the day than had we ventured out on our own. Booking a Sunday and being there early also meant that some of the roads were quieter and we were able to get around quite easily. Our driver was great and kept us stocked up with bottled water. For lunch we ate at one of the food courts near our hotel so only had a couple of minutes walk back. If you've not been to Bangkok before I'd definitely recommend this trip, it's so much easier than navigating your own way round and the guide really helps to get the most out of what you're seeing.

Despite really looking forward to this trip, we were left disappointed. Especially having paid premium rate for a private tour with English speaking guide.
The guide turned up on time as requested however, she had very limited English and was really difficult to understand. This was disappointing as we were desperate to get some narrative on customs and culture as well as seeing the sights.
The temples we visited were really impressive and we enjoyed that aspect, although some background and history would have helped.
The guide's English dramatically improved when we were persuaded to do her a favour and go to a 'shop' for a quick visit before heading back to the hotel. This turned out to be a gems factory with presentation and hard sell. Clearly she was on commission to bring us.
        Wouldn't use this company again.

Dear Customer, we are really sorry for the behavior of the guide but probably our best guides weren't available that day. In any case, we will try to understand which guide accompanied you on the day of the excursion and I assure you that she will no longer work with us. Thank you for reporting the problem to us, if you decide to use our services again we will offer you a discount. Best regards

This was the perfect way to start our time in Bangkok. It was a great way to get to see the major highlights of the city relatively quickly. Our tour guide Joy was such a delight and was so knowledgeable about the history of the city, country, and our particular sites. I would recommend this excursion to anybody visiting Bangkok!

This was an excellent tour we were promptly picked up by our guide Jodi, who then took us in a car to each of the infamous temples. We started with the golden Buddha temple, followed by the emerald Buddha and grand palace then finishing of with the laying Buddha temple. Jodi was very informative and explained to us the great history of each of the places and took several pictures for us. The pick up car is excellent equipped with water which is good because it got quite hot. But this is a great way to see all the cultural sites in Bangkok. Highly recommended for couples.

The temples of Bangkok with the various Buddha statues (including the impressive recumbent Buddha) have left a lasting impression on us: incredible architecture, elaborate figures, Buddha in different sizes, colors, positions. It's like being in a country of your own within Bangkok.
Our guide Sunny was a sunshine, full of energy and joy she guided us through the temples and the Grand Palace and told us lots of interesting and interesting things, accompanied us, photographed us.
The Grand Palace was just packed with tourists. Nevertheless, the emerald Buddha in particular was incredibly impressive - not exactly large compared to some other statues, but no less impressive. During the tour we had enough time to visit everything, it was designed very individually, which we really loved. For our 11-year-old son, however, the impressions and wealth of information in the heat were a challenge. We were therefore incredibly happy to have booked a private tour with Sunny!

We had a very interesting, informative and, above all, fun tour of the Grand Palace and the beautiful temples, thanks to the excellent insider knowledge of our tour guide Sunny. Sunny is very friendly, in a good mood and knows every perfect photo spot. She lovingly calls herself "parrot" because she likes to talk a lot and wants to share her knowledge with the tourists. A very warm person. 😊 We definitely recommend this tour!!!

Organised through our tour operator TUI we went on a small group tour which is definitely worth paying the extra for. Fantastic organisation with a great guide and taxi drop off and pick up always on time. Extremely hot so don't forget your hats and water (always available though) but the sights are simply stunning, unforgettable excursion.

Our guide was personable and enthusiastic. The attention to Buddhist practices was much appreciated. The extra cost of a private tour was worth it for the chance to experience the sites at a relaxed pace without worrying about holding up a group.

Bangkok's number 1 tour. The Royal Palace is certainly the most beautiful and unmissable tourist spot in the city. Try to arrive early to avoid queues and escape the heat. Remember to bring water because there is nothing for sale there, and you will need at least 2 hours inside.

We were picked up on time in a nice clean car, everything was well organised and the driver was always there to pick us up from viewing each site.
Visited the Palace, laying down budda and solid gold budda.
