If you are only in Bangkok a short time then this is a worthwhile tour that covers all main Temples and of course the Royal Palace in one visit and also enables you to skip any queues. Our guide was very informative and made sure he covered all things that tourists are interested in and took us to the best spots to take photos.

Make sure you were appropriate clothing, I wore leggings half way down my shins which I assumed would be acceptable as they were after all below my knees and still had to end up having to buy a sarong to enable me to gain access.

Back on the minibus after the tour ended assuming that we were heading back to our hotels we were informed we were heading to a gem factory as it was part of the tour although there was no mention of this on the remit on time of booking. Not sure if they are on commission to take you there but you would think this would be on the itinerary.

Overall a worthwhile tour

My wife and I had a personal tour. Our guide, Oddi, was wonderful and willing to help in every way she could. We didn’t communicate directly with the driver, but he also seemed pleasant and had a system worked out so we were able to jump in and out of the car without much waiting at all.

First and foremost please let me warn you: WEAR A SHIRT WITH SLEEVES, a wrap over a tank will not be accepted. I had a sarong double wrapped over the top part of my body and the "guard" physically unwrapped my clothing and pulled me out of line. I was made to buy a hideous t-shirt for 35$ american dollars. If I had been home the man would have been laying on the ground missing teeth- "me too" holds no water here.

Once you enter the temple there are so many people that you can barely get a photo without someone else barging in front for their own photo. I know its a "must do" but I left madder than I have been in a while.

Do it but be ready to sweat, get your feet trampled and witness some seriously rude behavior .

Prime absolutely destroyed, having visited the Grand Palace today for the first time in 7 years. Basically, some broad Spa as decided to close off everything except the Temple of the emerald Buddha, and the surrounding walls and murals.

When I first went to the Palace in 1994, I was astonished by the size, scale and beauty. Similarly during my visits and 2009 and 2011. So imagine my shock and disappointment, when I just got it it was no longer possible to go and see the Grand Palace. To avoid misleading people, they should now be renamed the emerald Buddha temple tour. Allow 20 minutes instead of two and a half hours.

Don't think I've ever been so thoroughly disappointed in my life.

I couldn't rate this tour highly enough.
Picked up on time from hotel at 7.30 am in air conditioned mini bus.
Small group tour with knowledgeable English speaking tour guide. 4 people were in our group.
She advised us all the best spots for our photos, and also took photos for us.
Driver was always there to meet us at each stop after we were finished. Very well organised and efficient.
First stop Gold Buddha (in and out before crowds arrived) then off to the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha. Last stop reclining Buddha then bonus of seeing the Buddha's of our birthday eg Thursday Buddha and Monday Buddha for my husband.
Done by lunch time.
Best way to do these temples is early morning otherwise you spend your time in queues and with crowds and in hotter weather.
Tip wear long pants and have shoulders covered. Wear shoes that are easy to take on and off as you enter most of the temples without shoes.
Highly recommend this company and tour

I’ll preface this by saying I didn’t actually get to go on the tour, and no, I wasn’t late.

When I arrived in Bangkok, the night before the tour, I checked my email and saw that I still didn’t didn’t have any info on what time the hotel pickup would be, so I emailed the tour company. When I arrived at my hotel I received a message that the tour company wanted me to call them. I was told that because I was a “single, female traveler, it wasn’t worth picking me up” (not a joke or a paraphrase, that’s what I was actually told) so they were cancelling my reservation and refunding my money. The cancellation came through immediately on Viator, but still, I can’t believe they did that!!

I love when Sunny, the tour guide is fun and lively! There was a mix up about which hotel that I was at, I gave them the right info but somehow they went to the wrong hotel. I was a little frustrated, but they actually sent a van to come pick me up at the right hotel and I was able to meet my group at another location and I got to do to the tour! They didn't have to do that and I was so happy as I didn't want to miss the tour.

I learned a lot, would have never had the experience...had I not gone on the tour.

My tour guide, also helped me to navigate the MRT system to get to Chatuchak Market...couldn't have done it without his help!

This was so worth the money....

The temples and grounds is a great tour , to see the historic and beautiful palaces/statues on show . my only gripe as many others will find is the mass of other tourists here to see the same thing. Taking in the spectacle of some great art/history/temples you just have to remind yourself why you are here and enjoy , most of these tours tend to be rushed through ,you just gotta hang back and take your photos ,if you get lost its not hard to find your hotel via tuk tuk , depends if you want to go with the flow. There is so much to take in and see , its hot walking about and hot in the temples so have some water with you Also long trousers ,no shorts and shoulders covered. just enjoy and take some great photos .

It is a good trip for an uniniated, you would otherwise have to do more research on your own. Despite a tad expensive I do not regret this trip.

I was under the impression that this is a personalised trip with just me, so I unwittingly kept group of other 7 tourist waiting for 10 minutes, while I was finishing through the breakfast before the trip.

Wat Arun was very close-by and they did not mention regarding this, I had to arrange trip myself separately for it.It's better to club Wat Arun also in this
