- lilaugh00Thai Ways and Biking SuperbI loved the tour. From the Phrapadeang Market to Temple Wat Luang Pho Ophasi to the long tail boat ride through the endless canals-everything was the Thai way of life. Thank you to the guide, Best, who took my safety and my love of biking to heart as well as showing me the Thai culture. Thank you Andre for having such a wonderful company: Thailand Biking.
- carolinewJ2786QF00Afternoon cycling tripExcellent afternoon biking tour to a part of Bangkok would never have found. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Well. Recommended.
- 379gwynr00Fun day out.I was staying in Silom near Chong Nonsi BTS. I booked the Bangkok City Culture tour with Thailand biking after seeing a video of them on the Global Travel Mate u tube channel. It included riding along the elevated bikeway between Benchakitti Forest Park and Lumphini Park. Which I wanted to see. There were 4 of us and a guide on this tour. After being kitted out with helmets and bikes we set off. I wasn't comfortable with the upright style of bike on offer. So asked and was given a mountain bike (a Merida). One that I was more familiar with. The bikes were all of excellent quality. The tour had a bit of everything. We cycled through Bangkok traffic which I found daunting at first but as we progressed got used to it. Traffic in the city is mainly gridlocked & slow moving which helped. We stopped off at a local temple and had a rest break at Talad Khlong Toei market. Highlight of the trip for me was Cycling through Benchakitti park (gorgeously green) with fabulous bike tracks and then taking the elevated section to Lumphinee. That was fun and traffic free. At various points along the way we got the chance to stop and take pictures. After that it was back through the traffic to the office. The guide we had was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Whenever we stopped he would tell us a brief history of the area while pointing out local landmarks. One small criticism. While we were biking through traffic the guide and the first rider got away from us (the last three riders) several times. The distance was about 30 to 40 metres. Eventually noticing that we weren't there they stopped and waited. A small thing but worth mentioning. It was well run and organised. I enjoyed it, had a lot of fun, and plan to come back. Oops, nearly forgot. The staff showed us where to catch The BRT bus from WAT DAN station (just up the street) all the way back to Silom Where you can access the Chong Nonsi BTS. Worth remembering.
- harrybJ2251SI00Go for a bike ride in Bangkok!I did the Colors of Bangkok Bicycle ride. To start we were offered a choice of bikes, either a mountain bike, or what I would call a beach cruiser type bike. I chose the beach cruiser. It was very comfortable and functioned well. Fern was our guide. She provided lots of interesting information along the way. After crossing the Chao Phrya river on a ferry boat, we had stops at both Buddhist and Hindu temples as well as a Muy Thai outdoor training center where we each had a chance to throw a few punches at pads held by the instructor. Our lunch was at an air conditioned restaurant with several menu choices included. Everyone really enjoyed the food there. The ride was pleasant. The pace was slow and the course was flat. Thailand Biking is a great way to explore Thailand!
- irenejC328BR00Really great cycling experience in a calm area in BangkokReally fun, calm and relaxing cycling tour. It was really nice to see a green and quiet part of Bangkok, and to visit temples (and to be explained how to pay respect to the Buddha in the temple), visit a local market and have a small introduction to Thai Boxing. Really friendly guide as well. We went at a really calm pace, so it is not too hot and it should be suitable for almost anyone.
- fb58500Fantastic biking tour in Bangkok!!This tour was amazing! We started the tour at the office of Thailand Biking with a warm welcome, the tour guides were introduced and they gave us our bikes. There are multiple types of bikes to choose from and the guides helped to make sure the bike was not too big or too small. At the beginning of the tour you take a ferry to cross the river, this is the same as the locals and I really like to see such things. after the ferry you get the best combination of local life, nature and the community. We went to different temples where we learned a lot about the religions in Thailand and we got the see how Buddhist people pray. Overall the guides were very knowledgable, very friendly, and they really kept an eye on everybody to make sure everything was okay. During the tour there was a bit of time for relaxing nearing the end and to finish it off we got an amazing lunch! This was one of the best biking tours I have done in a city. You get to learn a lot about the locals and the nature, during which you don't really go to the popular parts but you get to see the parts of Bangkok where you normally wouldn't go!
- tszyiun202300Amazing rideThe trip was really cool! We went to a boxing school, weekend market and two temples. The tour guide was really nice and he introduced a lot of Thai traditions for us. We took a lot of beautiful photos and had a great time there.
- Manon P00Biking through The lungs of Bangkok. Our guide was very friendly and educational. The bike trip was impressive taking us on an unexpected side of Bangkok. It was really cool to see how the locals live.
- AaronB737100A must do if you venture to BangkokExcellent experience. Our guide was great and very informative. He was also plenty of fun and made the experience more enjoyable.
- Leticia C00Best way to get to know the cityWe had an amazing bike tour through Bangkok with Tor (guide). We went to see the iconic places (temples, ferry, flowers market, and more) in the city and get to see how locals live. We even had dinner in a local restaurant with amazing thai food. Tor was very friendly, explaining every little detail and answering all our questions. This was the best way to get to know the city on our 1st day here.
- kitm80700Beyond expected beautiful ThailandBikingThe cycling route was beyond expected beautiful. The contact with the company before the tour was very good, quick and clear answers! At cycling day everything went as planned and the cycling path as the places we see was beyond expected beautiful! We booked a private cycling tour for my family of 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 8 years). Also booked the transfer from to hotel via internet of the company. Our kids was on the back the bicycle. We get the pictures of the tour afterwards also. Thank you Andre and Thailand Biking and our guide Tor for a very beautiful experience with the kids!
- roshan_osman00Best Bangkok Biking TourIncredible biking around the green oasis of Bangkok. Our guide Oliver was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and always made sure we were comfortable. Thank you! Highly recommend
- sabaisabai201900Must do!Great experience!!! After living in BKK for 4 years it changed my perspective. Tourguide was very flexible, kind and he spoke english very well. Overall recommendable experience-also in hot season of April. Will join again and will bring friends.
- SophiaDSi00real recommendation!!! :-)I did the tour with my best friends. We were all really excited! We had the luck that no one else booked that day apart from us so we had a very relaxed tour. We drove through beautiful and varied nature, so we didn’t expect this from Bangkok. The stops at the market, the Thai boxing school and the temple also fitted well and were very interesting. Our guide was really courteous, relaxed and funny. We felt totally comfortable and had a lot of fun! :-)
- melissa k00So good we booked another one!Wow, so many reasons to book with Thailand Biking. First of all, the communication is seamless. Response time between website booking and email communication is very quick. I was also able to communicate with Andre on What's App once we were traveling. Our guides, Fern and Bas, were on time for picking us up and right away we felt comfortable with them and became fast friends. There were 6 of us in our group (family, all adults). Everywhere we went, Fern and Bas were very knowledgeable and shared lots of information. They also added extra fun, based on our interests, whenever they could. They were so kind and patient helping me add to my Thai language skills. The itinerary for the tour was jam-packed with fun and education; we saw the floating markets and the train market as well as a few local spots while riding our bikes around rural areas. Fern and Bas always made sure we were well-fed and hydrated. We had so much fun on this trip with Fern and Bas that I booked another trip for two days later to Ayutthaya (which we were going to do independently but it was much better with them!). I highly recommend a tour with Thailand Biking. They are extremely professional and devoted to making sure you have a good time, learn a bit about the area you are in, and stay safe while doing it.

We had a great Rikscha Tour in Bangkok with our guide Ohm. He is a very good guide and showed us a different side of Bangkok. The tour was very varied. By foot through the slums, then by boat to the island and on with the rickshaw and visiting the floating market and temple.
Also our two little Kids had a lot of fun and Ohm always took care of the children.
I can really recommend this tour, uncomplicated handling and you can get to know the real local life, away from the tourist attractions.
Thank you!

It was a really great Trip,
UP (Guide) showed us a side of Bangkok that we never saw for ourselves.
She was very helpful and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
We visited a market and she introduced us to the typical food products.
Then we saw the slums, a kindergarten and a few temples.
Then we had a crossing to the island to take a walk through the jungle.
Then Rickshas continued across the island towards Bangkok to enjoy delicious Thai food in a great restaurant (next to the River) on the way.
At the end we continued with the Rikshas to Peer, to put over with a ferry again.
There was punctually the vehicle for transfer back to the hotel.
It was a really great organized trip, because our guide was very helpful.
Tahnk You very much.

"Best" was our personal guide. He did very well. He explained very much and answered all our questions. We experienced many exciting things: We saw coconut plantations, tasted a wild bean, spotted quite huge spiders (poisonous) and an ant nest in a tree, fed fishes. We entered lanes we wouldn't have entered without companion. It is no ordinary sight-seeing tour. After the trip you will get a YouTube-Link with a compilation of video sequences made of the guides during the trip. Recommendable!

Dear vinetjeux,
Thank you for reviewing our Rickshaw & Hike the Colors of Bangkok tour and 5-star rating, very much appreciated! Visitors to Bangkok can easily explore the well-known tourist places by themselves, but on our tours we want to show our guests a part of the Thai capital where they will never come on their own.
Hope you enjoyed your holiday in Thailand and maybe we can welcome you again on one of our tours!
With warm regards,

We did the Rickshaw and Hike the Colours of Bangkok tour with our wonderful guide Anne and as it was only us two, we enjoyed a private tour. Lucky us! We visited a nearby buddhist temple and Anne explained a lot about the temple and the religion in general. Then we moved on to a part of the city, where the poor live. We were greeted very friendly by the people there who despite being not the richest from a financial perspective, they seemed much happier than others. We then transfered to the other side of the river in a Longtail Boat to what is called the lung of Bangkok and to a totally different world compared to the hectic metropolis Bangkok is known for. We saw an area where the locals spend their weekends and fed some fish and then we got onto our rickshaws further on to a market where we almost only met locals with the freshest fruits and other food. And again this thai friendliness. We moved on to another temple and then we had some delicious lunch before we were dropped of where we started. We enjoyed the whole tour a lot and learnt so many things from our very motivated and knowledgeable guide Anne. Thanks once again!

After a warm welcome we could choose our bike and cycled towards the jungle of Bangkok. In between we made a stop at a boxing school where we could box ourselves. During the tour we were given nice cold water and a delicious lunch afterwards. saw some beautiful things during the tour, so this is definitely recommended.

We had a fantastic day with “Recreational Bangkok Biking”
We did the: Rickshaw & Hike the Colors of Bangkok. Which is a Bangkok Walking Tour Including Rickshaw Ride and Long-Tail Boat Ride
This tour gave us a chance to see a side of Bangkok that Tourists would not normally see.
Our guide, Nam, was so much fun and full of information. We loved our day with her.
Definitely do this tour. The Rickshaw is a great way to tour in the traditional old Thailand way.

This trip showed us a side of Bangkok that you wouldn't normally see and it was all shown to us by a knowledgeable and friendly guide Thatipoom Donsommai known to us as Best.
Firstly he took us through some of the poorest parts of Bangkok followed by a trip across the river by long tailed boat to an area known as the green area where we hiked through some jungle where he explained to us information about various animals and plants .
We then spent some time in a park before moving on to pick up the Rickshaws which took us to a floating market which was very interesting looking at the varied things for sale, particularly in the food range where Best gave us more information about the items for sale.
From there we went to see a Temple with an explanation of the Buddhist faith which once again Best was keen to try and explain as much detail as possible and he did it in a way that wasn't too much information overload, very interesting to be honest.
Then it was back on to the Rickshaws to find a restaurant for lunch which really made us feel non touristy which I love, we went to a Thai restaurant where the menu was all in Thai and with us saying what we liked, Best placed the order and it was great, made us really feel like we were locals .
After eating lunch, chatting with Best and getting a real insight into the Thai culture it was back onto the Rickshaws and of to the pier to cross the river, on the ferry this time.
Best then arranged transport for us back to our hotel.
They ran the trip even though there was just two of us which I think made it feel even more special and our guide, Best made it feel like we were just a group of friends on a day out.
Very enjoyable trip which I would definitely recommend

Dear Steve,
Please accept our sincere apologies for the late reply. Thank you for the kind review you wrote about our tour. We glad you enjoyed the tour also glad to read that our tour guide provided a good service. The area you were actually wasn't in Bangkok, was in another province nearby called Samut Prakarn. Wasn't it fascinating for just 5 minutes crossing the river then you were in another province?
Hope to have you back one day on one of our other bicycle-excursions in Ayutthaya or Chiang Mai.

I have been going to BKK for many years as part of holiday or business, but this tour was a revelation. My wife and I made a late booking for the rickshaw tour with transfers as the office is in the suburbs, It arrived on time and was quite short. The location and the tour started from the office, and visited the local riverside village and down to the river, with a drink stop along the way. Crossed the river into the plantation and farmland, quite an experence! Then onto the rickshaws this was an experence and quite funny, i felt sorry for the rickshaw men, but they were great. All through the tour the guide was friendly, informative and helpful, he made the tour by his enthusiasm and local knowledge. There was only two of us and we felt that our guide treated us as a private tour with lunch in a local dai pi dong. I would recommend this for family and individuals, the guide and company were excellent, and you get too see the other side to Bangkok. Finaly thanks to our guide he made the day.
