Going to relax at Bang Krachao (Bangkok’s Green Lung)
Dec 2019
If you find some awesome place to take a bike trip in Thailand with your family, friends, or couple, I think Bang Krachao is the best answer. Bang Krachao is an artificial island located in the Chao Praya River. Bang Krachao is also known as the green lung of Bangkok because It is surrounded by many trees grow up among the city of air pollution. There are many ways to get to Bang Krachao. If you guys don’t have private car, you can take BTS skytrain to Udomsuk station, and then take a taxi or a pick-up truck taxi to pier, then take a ferry to Bang Krachao. When you arrived at Bang Krachao, you will see many bicycle rental shops. So, you can pick bicycle which you like. The cost of each bicycle is 50 baht per day, and you must return the bicycle before 5 p.m., after that you will receive the map to guide you to the place that you want. In the map, it includes the place like Bangnampuengnok temple which situated near the pier and Dhevasathan that you can go inside to make a merit. The next place is Bangnamphueng Floating Market which has a lot of delicious Thai food, dessert, refreshing beverage (such as honey lemon juice), homemade products, and including fortune teller, that is place that I like the most because the food is very delicious! Next is Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and Botanical Garden. This place is far away from the pier 7 kilometers. You have to ride a bicycle to go there. In the park it is surrounded by a lot of trees. So, these trees make a good ambiance and make people feel calm and relaxed. I think if you want to spend time for relaxing or having a picnic, Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park is very appropriate place!! Here are some places in Bang Krachao that I recommend for you. Actually, there are a lot of places which sound interesting to go there, but you should experience it for yourself, and I think you will love Bang Krachao and want to come back again and again, like me.

Most recommendable, just do it!
Feb 2020 • Couples
After a few hectic days in Bangkok, we were ready to get away from the buzz, so we took a taxi to Khlong Tuey Pier, a short drive from Sukhomwit (apx 80 bath). From there we rented bikes for 80 bath a piece, and took a boat across the river - the fare is included in the bike-rental. Be aware they may ask for ID when you rent the bikes. We rode around on the "island" for a good hour, enjoying every minute of it. You can't believe it's Bangkok. I will recommend this to everyone.

A Very Distinctly Different Bike Tour
Feb 2020
I went cycling with my guide Nai for the afternoon adventure. It was a very active and enjoyable ride as well as quite educational. The tour includes the very green, beautiful side of Bangkok. Nai made several stops at which he explained and shared different sights and at each he made sure there was something of interest. The bustling market, the river crossing, rides along the canals and swamps were all unique experiences, And, of course, the stop for delicious mango sticky rice! Nai likes to support the local businesses and it's to his clients positive experiences that he does.
As long as one is comfortable on a bicycle - this is not for novices who cannot handle a bicycle well.
I guarantee they will thoroughly enjoy the tour. I highly recommend it

A fabulous way to experience Bangkok
We Were picked up and dropped off by Tony, our guide and a van to avoid the traffic in Bangkok. The bikes were high-quality hybrids with new helmets. Tony spoke excellent English and was very attentive to our needs. We took a short ferry and then cycled quiet cycle lanes and concrete raised paths in the jungle. He was happy to talk about anything that we were interested in! At one point we were discussing the origins of the book and film “the King and I!” Tony frequently checked that we were okay with the difficulty level, as although it was completely flat, you needed good balance! The beautiful trees kept us cool. We stopped frequently to be educated about the villages way of life and taste unusual local fruits offered to us by people in the street. We also had the best mango sticky rice! He could see that we were interested in the plants and animals so he showed us kaffir lime leaves, wild chilies and Thai basil on the side of the paths. He also pointed out any fruits along the way such as the different types of coconut, jackfruit, starfruit and passionfruit. In the National Park we fed giant gourami fish while eating a coconut ice cream! We also stumbled across a sleeping water monitor lizard who was happy to be photographed! An easy 14 km flat cycle tour with a souvenir water bottle gift at the end. I will definitely use this company again when looking for longer cycle tours in other parts of the country in Southeast Asia.Thank you Tony!

Spice roads - Bangkok, Jungle 1/2 day trip
Fantastic morning out with Yo who showed us the jungle, green lung of Bangkok, the weekend market, the park, ancient temple, water monitors, narrow raised cycle path, interesting cafes, trip across the river on a long tail boat and bought some interesting snacks to taste. Highly recommended as an antidote to the business of the city on the other side of the river - just do it !!!

Wonderful ride!
Best experience so far in Thailand. Loved the ride, the route, the ferry ride, the temple, and
seeing all the sights off the beaten path. Was fun riding on the small paths. Our guide Tony was fantastic. Answered all of our questions and made the ride very enjoyable and safe. Thank you Tony!
