We had the best day with Peach! Such a cool way to see Bangkok. Not only did we visit the traditional tourist spots (grand palace, reclining Buddha, etc.) but we also saw how locals work and live via the canal tour outside of the city. Peach was super informative and made sure to touch on both the cultural and historical relevance of each location we visited. We also went to an incredible lunch spot at which we ordered tons of delicious traditional Thai dishes.

Peach was proactive about coordinating / communicating departure times, itinerary, dress code, and currency needs.

Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and had less than 48hrs in Bangkok. We therefore wanted to make the most of the one whole day we had. It was the best decision we could have made by organising a private guide with YTG.

Peach! You cannot forget the name. Peach is definitely one of the best tour guides, we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and thoroughly recommend requesting her. Peach spoiled us to a day out in Thailand that will remain in my memory until I am reincarnated in my next life.

The whole day from start to finish was very organised but also extremely flexible. There was no rush, with everything at our own pace, and Peach was a book of knowledge when it comes to Thai culture.

The key for us on the day was to immerse ourselves in Thai culture. We achieved exactly that with Peach. After a short drive to the suburbs we found ourselves exploring a local Thai temple, away from the crowds, being given a lesson in Buddhism and how it influences Thai culture. We then found ourselves meandering along the canals in a local boat for 4 people. The ride through the canals was spectacular and definitely the highlight of our trip. Short stops ensued at various places along the route with narrated information given to us about local life the whole way.

Lunch at Methavalai Sorndaeng เมธาวลัย ศรแดง, which is a Michelin Star Restaurant, gave a real authentic taste to the whole day out. We learnt more of each other’s cultures over lunch together with Peach then we would have a weeks exploring by ourselves.

We were certainly treated to a day out we will
never forget. Anyone wanting to do a similar day, with lots more than just described above will need at least 6-7k Baht spending money for the day to cover Taxis, Boat, Food, Entry fees etc. For us it was worth every penny.

Thank you Peach so much for creating such a memorable day out. It was a pleasure to have met you. Keep up the good work.

Actually we had already booked a group Tour before we saw this operator.
We thought that we might have a better Input with a private Guide so we booked « Your Thai Guide » one day before the tour and were contacted on the same day and asked about our wishes. Our guide Jean took us up directly from the hotel and planed the tour so we had the lowest costs for the driving between the stops.

We have seen everything we wanted on one day, asked Jean every questions we had on our mind (rather related or not to the place we were), we had a great Day with Jean who is a person with a huge know-how and also very very nice Person with a great sense of humour (so he told us some great peculiar facts about the City, Habits etc…) and on the top it was cheaper as a group tour.

All in 1, it coudn t have been better!

We had Peach as a tour guide, she was super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to… All the things you want in a tour guide. She gave us great advice on cuisine, places to visit and what services to use even after the tour.

The tour itself started off by meeting peach in the hotel lobby and discussing what we would like to do and see. Peach then planned out the day and giving us multiple choices for each activity and asking for budgets before committing to anything.

We then had the pleasure of having peach show us around the city of Bangkok and overall we would highly recommend this service.

Touring Bangkok with Mrs. Peach was like having a longtime friend by our side! She was full of fun, made sure we had a great time and was a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of Bangkok! We immediately connected with her and Bangkok came alive in so much color and detail through her stories and insight! She helped us plan our tour (six temples, the Grand Palace and much more) while we were in the USA and delivered on every aspect of it once we landed in her great city.

We learned how the impressive temples such as Wat Arun and Wat Pho were constructed, the significance of their architecture (that represents the six levels of Thai-Buddhist heaven) and the meanings of the engravings and figures found throughout each of them. She gave us as much detail as we wanted and always found a way to explain things so that a Westerner could understand the East. If I had spent hours reading prior to our trip I wouldn’t have learned and/or appreciated as much as what we saw and experienced with Mrs. Peach!

Besides all we accomplished at the magnificent sites we also learned about Thai culture, etiquette, great meals to order, the differences between Thai generations, daily life, geo-politics and anything else we asked. I started calling her “the professor” after a short while…she’s simply an engaging, spirited, walking encyclopedia that also takes perfect individual and group photos at each location! And, upon request, she took us to the best souvenir shop that tourists don’t frequent and we nabbed such great deals for our friends and family back home!

The money we spent ($110 USD total for the four of us) for 8+ hours of her kindness, insight and pure joy was worth every baht…I would have gladly paid double for this service (therefore, we did that when we gave her our tip!). It was worth it and the memories will never fade…never!

And, it must be noted, we saw other Thai tour guides let their groups haphazardly wander around without much interaction…not Mrs. Peach…she came into each temple and site and ensured our eyes saw the details and grasped the meanings! Thank You Mrs. Peach!

We were met by our tour guide Apple who arrived early at our hotel. Between us we worked out a bespoke itinerary, which included changing money, buying SIM cards, visiting the Golden Mount Temple, visiting the Grand Palace, a Khlong Boat tour along the Chao Phraya river and canals and eating in an authentic Thai restaurant. We travelled using a combination of the Sky train, Tuk Tuk and taxi.

Apple was very professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Her knowledge of Thai history was second to none and both very informative and fascinating. Apple has a very friendly manner and we were able to strike up an instant rapport which made the day even more pleasurable. At the end of the tour she walked us back to our hotel.

Having a private tour guide was fantastic and an absolute must when visiting a bustling city such as Bangkok. We would therefore highly recommend Apple.

We had a wonderful experience with Yuut, our tour guide. He patiently listened to our preferences and helped build an itinerary which was flexible enough to focus on the places we wanted to cover. He also took ample time to explain the heritage & history of the structures / localities we visited. The tour was a good introduction to the public transport options, so much that we were taking trains and tuk tuks like locals the next day when we were out on our own. Yuut is a committed professional and we would recommend his services to anyone who wants to explore Bangkok's sights at a leisurely pace.

We had less than one day in between flights and had an outstanding experience with Peach as our guide. We made the booking through GetYourGuide who contracted with Yourthaiguide. Our flight was a red eye and we arrived at 6am. I had booked a day use hotel as I knew we would need to take a nap at some point so I booked an 8 hour guide, and paid for a total of 9 hours. We were so tired that we slept on arrival. Peach had the front desk call when she arrived and I told her we needed to nap first. She waited until we finally got up, showered and dressed around 2pm. She then helped us get something to eat and we planned the day. Given my kids are ages 9 and 11, she suggested we take a canal boat ride, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. We then went to the Reclining Buddha temple, took a a Tuktuk to the flower market, and briefly saw the market. We got back to the hotel by 7pm so we could rest and head back to the airport at 8pm. Peach was knowledgeable, informative, efficient, warm, and thoughtful. She took pictures and sent them to me. The souvenir shop told her I had left my credit card there and she contacted me so I could tell her to have them destroy the card as I had already left the country. We never would have able to experience as much on our own. Our fantastic Bangkok experience was primarily due having Peach as our guide. I highly recommend Peach.

Apple was a great guide! She was knowledgeable and entertaining. She put together a perfect itinerary that kept two hard to please teens entertained and informed for the day despite staggering heat. I love that we all learned things today!

She helped us maintain an easy pace so we didn't have to rush or get stressed. We took lots of heat breaks and her food/drink suggestions were spot on. One of the best tour guides I've ever had.

This experience was easily worth the price.

Our tour guide, Oil, provided a whirlwind, very extensive tour of Bangkok. She met us at our hotel right on time, helped us create a plan for the day, then escorted us through taking the sky tram, boats, and tuk-tuks around Bangkok.

We started at the Grand Palace and most significant temples. Oil helped us navigate all these including all the security and Covid protocols, which might have had us walking in circles without her. She also provided great history and added a ton of fun details to our tours. I believe she studied Thai history at university and her knowledge really showed. There is so much to see in these sites and they are so impressive, that I think we would have been completely overwhelmed without her.

The second half of our day was more about getting into Bangkok. She took us to a really amazing street dim sum restaurant that we never would have found on our own then to an amazing coffee shop located above a warehouse of old machinery parts that we never would have entered on our own (every bit as ridiculous as it sounds). Finally, she walked us through some commercial areas to find a tailor as my son and I wanted custom suits, and provided recommendations for the rest of our trip (where to shop, where to eat, etc.).

It really showed that Oil loves Bangkok and has spent a lot of time exploring it to find many of its hidden gems. She provided an experience well beyond what our guidebook would have. And she stayed with us beyond the prescribed time to show us everything we wanted and get us back to our hotel.

The only thing I would caution is that I estimate we walked 8+ miles that day in the Bangkok heat. It was a very full day with a late lunch that had our kids (12 and 14) about to melt down. Be prepared for a whirlwind.
