Discover a side to Bangkok that many visitors miss on a tour focused on the Bridge on River Kwai and the Thai-Burma Death Railway, an ideal choice for history buffs. Choose from a group or private tour depending on your preference, and travel between landmarks in the air-conditioned comfort of a coach. Plus, all entrance fees, lunch, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included for a seamless experience.

What to Expect

Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Bangkok, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the Bridge on River Kwai. During the journey, your guide provides an overview of how thousands of prisoners of war were forced to work on a railroad track that connected Myanmar with Thailand.

Stop first at the Bridge on River Kwai before continuing to a section of the Thai-Burma Death Railway and two cemeteries that pay tribute to the 16,000 prisoners that died during the construction of the railway. After a Thai lunch at a local restaurant, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

Great day trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Samm was a great tour guide. Very entertaining and knowledgeable. Even getting a flat tyre heading back to the hotel didn’t spoil the day.

We crossed the River Kwai

A long drive from Bangkok through the country side, but well worth the experience. We enjoy the visit to this iconic bridge.

You need to call them. They dont pick from every hotel even they mention that while selling the package. If you are out of way even little bit they will make you join them some where in different hotel.

Hi, our tour guide took us by bus to Hellfire Pass and River Kwai. I don't recall any train trips that you can take between the two places.
