- Footprints6601500Street food tour worth tryingOhm was a great host & our favourite part has to be our first meal & desert. The street food was great except for the congee, I can’t say that I would ever eat that again but it was extremely funny watching my friend try it! The sites at night were beautiful & it was great getting around in a tuk tuk.
- ironicminimalist00Delicious!A huge thank you to Sasa for the lovely tour full of yummy food! We enjoyed ourselves and loved finding places to eat on our second day in Bangkok. We actually went back to one of the places to have a full meal! Sasa also knew of the best place to buy sticky rice and mango which my partner enjoyed. She was also really warm and friendly. I highly recommend a tour with Taste of Thailand! Thank you for sharing your time and experience with us Sasa! we can't wait to take a tour again when in Bangkok.
- sabo696900Highly recommendGreat tour for seeing and tasting the street food in Bangkok. Our guide met us promptly at the meeting point, and the Tuk Tuk dropped us off at the hotel at the end. The temple of dawn was an amazing sight at night.
- Niamh195700Food tourOur tour guide Yok brought us to authentic stalls and restaurants and we tried a great range of food and drinks! Yok was really informative and helpful also!
- Lucy T00Night Food TourA wonderful evening exploring lots of different restaurants and places around the city. We have lived in Bangkok for a few years but everywhere was new to us! The food was tasty, our guide was very knowledgable and we had lots of fun. There was SO much food we were completely full by the end of the tour, do NOT eat before hand!
- JD052400Bites at NightThis was the highlight of our trip. The food was delicious, the tour guide was polite and informative and it was easy to get around. We got to eat a ton of food and were full by the end of the trip. I highly recommend that everyone takes this tour.
- DayTrip75612000Awesome foodThoroughly enjoyed our food tour in old town. We got a chance to try various styles of cooking and flavors. The herbal drinks were delicious. Enjoyed seeing the unusual fruits that are indigenous to this area and trying them. Our guide was outstanding and very informative.
- V2017ZDlindag00Interesting and informative evening with lots of food.Katy our tour guide looked after us was very aware of my shell fish allergy. She made sure my food did not contain any shell fish while my companions could still enjoy the Thai flavours.
- Holly B00Food part made my husband very sick. The guide (Ohm?) was super nice and in no way was anything his fault. The places you are supposed to eat at are a health department nightmare. One dessert we were supposed to try was some gross custard thing. The man was flipping them in a skillet with his bare hand while smoking a cigarette in the other. All food places were really dirty and made me wonder if rats or vermin cam in at night. Just avoid the street food in general. The last place we went my husband found a price of metal in his soup. He was sick for 3 days. Take the guided tour but don’t do the food part. I liked the ancient cities very much.
- timcat202000Fantastic introduction to Thai Food in BangkokExcellent food tour with Taste of Thailand Food Tours. Pat, our guide was great, very informative and we tasted a variety of dishes. It gave us an insight into the many different cultures that have influenced Thai cuisine. The only down side was we ate too much!! Do not have lunch before this tour!
- TaniaW40800Delicious food and unexpected locations!Pat and the team were amazing, it was a fast-paced tour with SO MUCH amazing food but well balanced and not too much :)
- Blunsdf00Great Thailand food tourGreat tour. Awesome tour guide and staff. Lots of fun and very informative. Such great food and drinks to try. Very happy we went on the tour 😀
- Bangkoktravels5700Fun and FriendlyReally enjoyed the tour with Pat who was friendly and informative. It was lovely to visit places we might not have found ourselves. It was like being with friends and we enjoyed sampling the variety of food and drink. Thanks also to Nid and the lovely young girl who was the photographer !
- W3627BSrichardd00An excellent street food tour!Yok, our guide for the evening, gave us an excellent and most enjoyable tour. She explained the various dishes and, pitching the level of spice exactly right for us, introduced us to new experiences in taste! She was kind and interesting and good to talk to. She took photographs for us on her camera, which we hope she will soon send to us. Altogether thoroughly recommended!
- steve g00A great food tourWe had a great experience. The tour was fantastic and good value for money. Yok, our guide, was very knowledgable about the food, culture and history of Bangkok and the Bang Rak area. We visited a number of hidden food sites and sampled some lovely food. Yok's local knowledge was invaluable and we had a great evening. She could not have done more to make the evening special.

Me and my fiance had a wonderful time with Ohm, our tour guide. He was extremly friendly and very knowledgeable about the culture and introduced us to some wonderful food. We are very pleased about this activity and recommend it to anyone else visiting Thailand and wanting to discover some incredible street food. We had the pleasure to visit some michelin recognised places and the food did not disappoint. Massive thumps up to our guide Ohm, he is a true representation of what Thailand is to us , welcoming and accommodating.
Many thanks for the experience. We will be back.

We were lucky to have Sasa as our guide three times, twice at Bang Rak (aka Village of Love), and once at Chinatown. She is extremely friendly and caring, and also speaks English very well.
She knows lots of interesting information about each place we visit. She tells us about the history of each shop, which makes it even more enjoyable and allows us to appreciate the food.
Hope to see you again Sasa!

Bella led myself and another adventurous eater through the backstreets of Chinatown during the evening. This tour encapsulates several 'dinner' meals - you don't have to eat it all - but make the most of it, as the food is delicious! Some of the highlight restaurants were: a) See Morakat - a delicious combination of BBQ Pork and rice with a generous gravy, b) Angel Pad Thai - a food cart selling a special Shrimp Pad Thai (I recommend the Oyster omelette too!), c) The Canton House - Thai fusion Cantonese Yum Cha dishes, d) Pa Tong Go Savoey - a food cart selling Chinese Doughnuts with a Michelin star! and e) Nai-Ek Roll Noodles - a restaurant with a huge line selling famous BBQ Duck and broth. This is a seriously filling tour and highly recommended!

One of the highlights of our travels in Southeast Asia has been the food, and this Chinatown Food tour added to our appreciation of Thai Food with a Chinese influence. Our guide Sasa started the evening off reminding us that we were going to laugh, eat and enjoy, which we did. Her careful selection of food vendors, relationships with all of them and knowledge of the history of the area and information about the food we were eating was exceptional. She was professional and fun to be with. Starting with lovely small appetizer pastries, we then moved to noodles, dim sum with cold chrysanthemum tea, crispy pork and wide noodles, oysters that were sizzling hot and eventually icy cold bean desserts and tapioca and hot ginger sauce with rice balls. The dishes were all unique and interesting and we learned more about how Thai food is prepared and served.
Sasa was also an expert photographer and took great pictures of each dish so we can recall the tastes and experience. We also got to experience Chinatown as it starts to wake for the evening feast and then moves into full swing in a matter of about 30 minutes. Where did all the people and vendors come from in such a short time? It is worth the experience just to see the streets come alive with all the different vendors and customers.
A very enjoyable evening we highly recommend this tour and Sasa as a guide.

Had an incredible time with Taste of Thailand!
Our family of 4 took the Chinatown evening food tour with 4 other guests. Our tour guide, Jah, was very informative and accommodating with all the guests! We met up with the group at Hua Lamphong MRT Station at 5pm, a perfect time where the temperature is just right.
We walked quite a bit but never felt tired as the food stops were spaced very well. Keep in mind my mother who gets tired easily when walking never felt tired or rushed during the whole time. We started from the MRT Station all the way to Yaowarat Road which is the main road of Chinatown. We sampled a good variety of food and even if we're an Asian family, there was still something unique and surprising to eat!
Do note Chinatown can get crowded and long lines can happen especially with Michelin certified street stalls during weekends and even late nights on weekdays. We had our tour on a Friday so some lines were quite long but thankfully Jah our tour guide was very accommodating!

We had an excellent tour of Chinatown led by Bella - fun, knowledgeable and charming. She introduced us to food and drinks that we would never had tried on our own - a great way to spend an evening in Bangkok.

We had a delightful evening in Chinatown with Sa Sa. The whole evening was planned out to provide a smattering of dishes and food vendors that we would almost certainly not have found on our own. She navigated the streets and got us tables and yummy eats at 7 or 8 different places. We sampled everything from Chinese doughnuts to the most wonderful fried oysters to a table of dessert treats. There were four of us, two couples who consider ourselves adventurous eaters, and Sa Sa didn’t disappoint us. We laughed, ate, laughed, walked, and even danced! It was a happy and enjoyable evening. She answered a lot of questions about the food preparation, told us a lot about the Chinese and Thai cultures. In addition, she took photos of us throughout the evening ...what a treat. If you want to do something special for yourself while in Bangkok, try to reserve a tour with Sa Sa...you will have a happy and yummy night...and...come hungry!!

Katy, our tour guide was very friendly and had a great sense of humor! We went to a total of eight restaurants/food stalls and she gave us a brief history of Thai food and the evolution of Thai-Chinese food. All the food was yummy and it was a great experience. I highly recommend going on the tour with Katy because she is a great tour guide and you will not be disappointed!

Katy was my guide & I was the only one on this "small-group" tour, so I got a very personalized tour to appeal to my specific tastes. She was great. Chinatown itself, like much of Bangkok at night was a chaotic mass of people.
