- AmandaP24000Delicious food and good companyMy partner and I had such a wonderful time eating vegan bites. Dany was so sweet and knowledgeable. We had some delicious vegan food from all regions of Thailand. We also had some treats to take back to our hotel.
- christalveronicav00Must do!Great Experience and we had a great guide! He (Ohm) was very experienced and gave us a lot of info about Bangkok. He should us the best local restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!
- beerdventure00Amazing street food in Chiang MaiJoined Chiang Mai Street Food Safari, our guide is Nicky. Everything was amazing!! All of the street food we had was delicious, we loved so much. Nicky is amazing tour guide, very generous and kind. Highly recommended!
- D2654KLerinf00Delicious vegan Thai experienceSasa was incredible and so friendly! She showed us so many delicious vegan Thai restaurants, and we enjoyed every last minute! Would definitely recommend this tour!
- Footprints6601500Street food tour worth tryingOhm was a great host & our favourite part has to be our first meal & desert. The street food was great except for the congee, I can’t say that I would ever eat that again but it was extremely funny watching my friend try it! The sites at night were beautiful & it was great getting around in a tuk tuk.
- ironicminimalist00Delicious!A huge thank you to Sasa for the lovely tour full of yummy food! We enjoyed ourselves and loved finding places to eat on our second day in Bangkok. We actually went back to one of the places to have a full meal! Sasa also knew of the best place to buy sticky rice and mango which my partner enjoyed. She was also really warm and friendly. I highly recommend a tour with Taste of Thailand! Thank you for sharing your time and experience with us Sasa! we can't wait to take a tour again when in Bangkok.
- sabo696900Highly recommendGreat tour for seeing and tasting the street food in Bangkok. Our guide met us promptly at the meeting point, and the Tuk Tuk dropped us off at the hotel at the end. The temple of dawn was an amazing sight at night.
- Lucy T00Night Food TourA wonderful evening exploring lots of different restaurants and places around the city. We have lived in Bangkok for a few years but everywhere was new to us! The food was tasty, our guide was very knowledgable and we had lots of fun. There was SO much food we were completely full by the end of the tour, do NOT eat before hand!
- JD052400Bites at NightThis was the highlight of our trip. The food was delicious, the tour guide was polite and informative and it was easy to get around. We got to eat a ton of food and were full by the end of the trip. I highly recommend that everyone takes this tour.
- DayTrip75612000Awesome foodThoroughly enjoyed our food tour in old town. We got a chance to try various styles of cooking and flavors. The herbal drinks were delicious. Enjoyed seeing the unusual fruits that are indigenous to this area and trying them. Our guide was outstanding and very informative.
- V2017ZDlindag00Interesting and informative evening with lots of food.Katy our tour guide looked after us was very aware of my shell fish allergy. She made sure my food did not contain any shell fish while my companions could still enjoy the Thai flavours.
- Holly B00Food part made my husband very sick. The guide (Ohm?) was super nice and in no way was anything his fault. The places you are supposed to eat at are a health department nightmare. One dessert we were supposed to try was some gross custard thing. The man was flipping them in a skillet with his bare hand while smoking a cigarette in the other. All food places were really dirty and made me wonder if rats or vermin cam in at night. Just avoid the street food in general. The last place we went my husband found a price of metal in his soup. He was sick for 3 days. Take the guided tour but don’t do the food part. I liked the ancient cities very much.
- Gaellehi600Chinatown evening food tourMe and my fiance had a wonderful time with Ohm, our tour guide. He was extremly friendly and very knowledgeable about the culture and introduced us to some wonderful food. We are very pleased about this activity and recommend it to anyone else visiting Thailand and wanting to discover some incredible street food. We had the pleasure to visit some michelin recognised places and the food did not disappoint. Massive thumps up to our guide Ohm, he is a true representation of what Thailand is to us , welcoming and accommodating. Many thanks for the experience. We will be back. Gaelle and Abi
- Davano7900Excellent ExperienceAoy was our guide, she was excellent! Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind happy, she always smiles. The Tuk Tuk tour was so much fun, going to different restaurants and trying different things, she did a wonderful job, and hope to see her and Bangkok again, Thank for the wonderful experience! Mr. Devyn S. Monroe
- 600mada00A great time with June!!This tour was so much fun! Getting to buzz around and learn about some really interesting spots we had never even heard of! Food was incredible, so full I had to stop. June was full of information about the tour and Thailand in general it was great to have someone to ask those particular questions to! Would recommend 10/10. Met another couple from the other side of the world, and a lady from close by in Aus! What are the chances!

Ohm was an excellent guide. His English was impeccable (he had a scholarship to study in USA for a year) and he patiently taught us a few words of Thai as we went along. He explained about the dishes, snacks, fruit and drinks that we tried (and sheltered us from the showers with his umbrella!) and told us about the Bang Rak area and something of the history and customs of eating and drinking Thai style. We had more than enough to eat and drink over the course of the tour, having skipped lunch. We certainly could not have finished all of each dish.
I am vegetarian and he ensured appropriate dishes were served so that I felt I was still getting a full experience, not just ‘with the meat left out’.
My only reason for not giving five stars is that in my communication with Taste of Thailand before booking I had said that we wanted a tour where were part of a small group rather than just a private tour for the two of us. Perhaps some people would feel that the fact there were only the two of us with our own guide was a ‘bonus’ but we like the opportunity to meet other people and not be the sole focus of attention. It would have been courteous, I think, to let us know in advance that there were no others booked on the tour, but of course this is a management issue, and in the end Ohm put us at our ease and ensured we had a pleasant and relaxed evening.

Excellent food tour with Taste of Thailand Food Tours. Pat, our guide was great, very informative and we tasted a variety of dishes. It gave us an insight into the many different cultures that have influenced Thai cuisine. The only down side was we ate too much!! Do not have lunch before this tour!

Yok, our guide for the evening, gave us an excellent and most enjoyable tour. She explained the various dishes and, pitching the level of spice exactly right for us, introduced us to new experiences in taste! She was kind and interesting and good to talk to. She took photographs for us on her camera, which we hope she will soon send to us. Altogether thoroughly recommended!

We had a great experience. The tour was fantastic and good value for money. Yok, our guide, was very knowledgable about the food, culture and history of Bangkok and the Bang Rak area. We visited a number of hidden food sites and sampled some lovely food. Yok's local knowledge was invaluable and we had a great evening. She could not have done more to make the evening special.

We enjoyed the different food dishes. Some we enjoyed more than others but it was a matter of taste not preparation. Fun people watching! It’s a nice game ay to get introduced to Thai cuisine. Loved it!

A great way to learn about food in Bangkok even if you are a regular visitor. You get to taste a selection of dishes, drinks and fruit and learn about the city. Great value. Easy walk.

Hello,
Can you recommend me a halal food tour?
Thank you.
Emily G

I can’t - but I think if you let any of the tour guides know that you keep a Halal diet they will accomodate. Bang Rak is a Muslim area so there would be plenty of places you could eat. One of the oldest Mosque’s in Bangkok is in the area so there are lots of Muslim restaurants around there.
I am not able to walk quickly Can you please tell me the length of walking involved and whether you are on a tight schedule which requires fast walking.

The trip does involve quite a bit of walking as the Bang Rak area is quite big and the restaurants we visited were spread out. If you have a disability that means you can’t walk far, I would say don’t do this trip - there are other food tours you can do by tuk tuk which might be better. If you can walk ok but not fast, then the trip might be ok for you because there are really frequent stops.

Hello,
My family and I are going to be in Bangkok on Dec 27th on a 8-hour layover on our way to Krabi. We land at 7am and our connecting domestic flight is at 3.35pm to Krabi.
We would like a tour guide to pick us up from airport, show us the town, visit some good restaurants and sights for the kids, then bring us back to airport. The tour would be for 5 hours. Our kids are 3 boys, aged 8, 10 and 13.
We will be back through BKK on Jan 3 and would be interested in doing a 3-hour guided tour on that day.
Please let us know what itinerary you propose and what the cost would be for the 5 of us for Dec 27 and also for Jan 3rd.
Also, do you know anyone who offers tours in Krabi? We need that.
Thank you.

I would suggest to give them a call and/or arrive at the meeting point well in advance. They are very accommodating.
"Move between venues easily in a small group limited to 10 people" > is there a way to arrange so that the group just consists of 2 people?
