About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Kerryn720 contributionsAmazing costumesCostumes were spectacular! Dancing a bit amateurish at times...out of sync. The flashy costumes and lighting make you not focus on the dancing which is a good thing. Seemed like a bunch of random dances which seemed to be traversing different countries- KPop songs, Eurythmics, Shania Twain, Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga were also thrown in the mix. The Bollywood dance was really well done. Not too sure about the pole dancing one. Really enjoyed the show overall. At the end of show the performers line up for photos but charge 100 baht. Price is per performer and they're cheeky- they push themselves into your photo then ask for double payment. Not cool. Particularly when my 15 yr old was so excited to choose someone then got photobombed by others who wanted payment! Seems to be a common comment in reviews too.Written September 22, 2024
- Phattharaporn S0 contributions#Ayutthaya TempleAyutthaya Ayutthaya, Thailand's ancient capital, is a captivating destination that immerses visitors in its rich history. Founded in 1350, this UNESCO World Heritage site boasts an impressive array of historical ruins, including majestic temples and towering stupas. The city’s highlights include Wat Phra Si Sanphet with its iconic chedis, Wat Mahathat where the famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots can be seen, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, which offers stunning riverside views. Wandering through Ayutthaya’s archaeological park, visitors can appreciate the intricate architecture and gain insight into the grandeur of the once-thriving Kingdom of Siam. Its blend of historical significance and scenic beauty makes Ayutthaya a must-visit for anyone interested in Thailand's cultural heritageWritten September 15, 2024
- Teporah0 contributionsWell worth itThe best way to start my solo visit to Bangkok. The pickup from my non-pickup listed hotel, bus trip to and river cruise back from the Ayutthaya Temples was professionally timed and run. Donna (tour guide) was exceptional and knowing we were in her home “town” made the experience even more moving. I totally recommend this as a must do.Written September 8, 2024

- BKK-UTH0 contributionsToo crowded. If you go without a guide, you really have to look for the entrance because you have to walk through a shop and the entrance is behind it. There are a lot of people, but it is well organized and moves quickly. In my opinion, the platform is too crowded with people. WARNING: you are not allowed to take cameras, phones or any hard objects onto the platform. So it is not possible to take a photo of yourself on the platform. You have to stand next to it and someone has to take the photo. It is cordoned off with a chain so that you can take photos behind the barrier.Written August 9, 2024
- PeteA_Rose0 contributionsGreat temple experience and fab river cruise. The whole experience was fab. The driver collected us bang on the time he said he would followed by a short drive to collect the coach. The temples were amazing and well worth visiting, the tour guide was knowledgable but not to the point where he was talking for the sake of it. he gave us enough information when needed. The highlight of the day was the river cruise from the outskirts of bangkok to the centre, with the added bonus of lunch on board great views of such a vibrant and developing city from the river.Written July 29, 2024

The cooking school is in a beautiful, tranquil location and staff are very friendly and helpful. The dishes we made were delicious. One complaint is that the prawns were already cooked, and the chef made a couple of sauces for us. I would have liked to have done these tasks myself.
The other complaint is more with Buffalo Tours I guess than Bai Pai. I was traveling alone and had been picked up from my hotel and shared the trip with three American college students who were in the class with me. We had all been getting along really well. When it came to the end and we were walking back to the van when suddenly a man and woman came and hustled me off to another vehicle. I wasn’t given the opportunity to say goodbye to the others, and I really felt that was in poor spirit by the providers. Other than that, it was a lovely experience which I would recommend to others interested in a basic overview of a Thai cooking.

Oh we are sorry to hear that you were hustled off to another vehicle and didn't have a chance to say goodbye to your new friends. Provider provides transfer back to hotel as different car different rout, so then the drivers don't have to drive back forth. Anyway, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the class and thank you very much for your review.

I definitely give high marks to not only the cooking school but our guide Pop as well. She is an excellent guide and showed us around the market, tailoring specific parts to our groups taste before taking us to the school. Once there with her and Chef Mai we were taught how to not only cook the food, but what goes into the preparation as well. I just had some friends land in Bangkok today so I hope they are able to see them before they leave. Thanks to the Baipai Cooking School and staff for capping off my trip to Thailand on a high note.

My husband and I booked on an afternoon cooking class, after really enjoying our class we did whilst on holiday in Kuala Lumpur.
The whole experience was great fun and one that we would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about Thai food and culture. We were collected from our hotel at 12.30pm and then taken to the cooking school about 30 minutes drive away.
We then spent a lovely afternoon with four other guests learning about Thai ingrediants and cooking (and eating!) a variety of dishes ourselves. I was the only vegetarian on the course but was very well catered for and was able to cook the veggie equivalent of all the dishes that the others were making.
All the food was quite straightforward to make which meant that we left feeling confident that we could try them ourselves at home.
All the staff were friendly, knowledgable and fun and really seemed to want to make our day special. They even gave us fridge magnets with a photo they had taken of us all individually to take home and then also emailed us the other pictures they had taken of us throughout the afternoon!
Fantastic afternoon which filled us up so much that we didn't need dinner that evening! I would recommend this to anyone!

Started with introducing us to some of the core flavours and ingredients used in thai cooking, including herbs picked directly in their garden! Both Pop and chef Charles were really friendly, giving clear explanations and helpful tips. Was really impressed at how our food turned out, and enjoyed both the variety of dishes we learned and getting to use ingredients we weren't familiar with. Also a beautiful venue, and the transport to/from our accommodation was useful. Really highly recommend!

Gorgeous property, amazing chef and guide and delicious food! The chef was very attentive and demonstrated a great passion for cooking. Our class was small so it was very focused and intimate. I couldn't have been more pleased with this cooking experience. Thank you SO much Baipai! I'll definitely be back when next I visit Bangkok.
