Perfect Day
What an amazing day trip, and such great value for money. Our guide was so interesting and friendly, and each place we visited was so beautiful. The boat trip back was really relaxing and the buffet food was lovely.

They pick you up from the hotel so you don’t have to worry about transportation and traffic. The guide was so cute and full of humor. The tour was long enough to see everything and short enough to not becoming boring, I ve done lots of great pictures and memories and I met beautiful people during this trip. Don’t overthink to book this trip🥰

Amazing stuff
Jan 2020
Booked this tour through Viator with InnViaggi Asia. A good tour with a very knowledgeable guide. However, we had a very hard time understanding him as he had a strong accent. The lunch on the boat ride back to Bangkok was plentiful with great scenery from the top deck.

Our third trip to Ayutthaya
Mar 2020
This time my wife and I hired a professional tour guide from our hotel. We went by Minivan and it was a totally different experience worth the little extra money that we paid. We had convenience but we also had the benefit of listening to a professional tour guide who explained everything in detail and who answered all of our questions. He even acted as our photographer to take some great photos of us among the ancient ruins. It was a very enjoyable day.

If you are a history lover, I don't wonder why you have visited Ayutthaya many times. It's worth visiting as a one day escape from busy Bangkok.

Fascinating and Relaxing

What a terrific day! I learned so much about Thai history and culture, and feel so privileged to have been able to see so many historic and spiritual sites. Our tour guide was at times a little hard to understand, but that's part of the charm of travel. The logistics were seemless, and little touches like cold water and hand wipes were appreciated. I was afraid the cruise would feel cheap or cheesy, but was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. Lots of attentive staff. The food wasn't any better or worse than a hotel buffet, but plentiful and nicely presented. As a solo traveller, I was seated at the "singles" table and really enjoyed chatting with people from all over the world. Some great siteseeing from the boat, things you wouldn't get to see otherwise.

Day trip to Ayutthaya
Feb 2020
Great day out. We were picked up by our guide from our hotel and taken to the railway station for a train that would take us to Ayutthaya. Unfortunately our guide got us to the station an hour early so we had a bit of a wait. The more interesting thing was that we all had to stand up at 0800 as they played the national anthem over the tannoy system.

The train’s air conditioning system was over efficient and we all had to put on extra clothing , hats etc.

When we arrived at Ayutthaya we were picked up by a tuk tuk and taken round the temples which were fabulous. After the temples we had lunch in a local restaurant which had a good selection of local food.

I had originally thought that this trip would involve seeing an old ruined city and not just the old temples surrounded by modern housing.

After lunch we were taken by long tailed boat to the summer palace which was well worth a visit. For less able people there are golf buggies to save the long walk.

From the summer palace we were taken back by taxi to our hotel.

This tour is amazing
Mar 2020 • Friends
Ayutthaya is a beautiful place with lots to see. Our tour guide, Donna, was lovely and funny and very knowledgeable about the area. It's an hour drive from the pick up point and we were told lots of information and then allowed some time to sleep. The boat trip back to the drop off point was fabulous. As we are two vegetarians we got given our own food (and lots of it) while everyone else had the buffet - Donna asked the group if there were any vegetarians on the bus ride to Ayutthaya in the morning. Ayutthaya itself isn't massive so going to all the other sites in the surrounding area really enriched our day and made the journey worthwhile.

This is a good day trip if you want to get out of Bangkok for the day. Donna was an entertaining and knowledgable guide and it is so cute that she looks after the local dogs :)
