- joanaN7727XT00Lovely experience of the best Nepal has to offer. A beautiful country and warm hearted people. We highly recommend it.Trip was so well planned and we managed to experience so much of Nepal in the time we had there. Guides and driver were excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time in Kathmandu and the surrounding area and would highly recommend this trip.
- F7430UAericd00Wonderful Trip in NepalWe had an amazing time with this company. Bhagwat and Kapil were incredibly helpful and very friendly. We toured the city and had a wonderful time shopping and visiting the temples. They both truly made us feel welcome and part of the culture. Highly recommend!
- CarAppleTree00Kathmandu - Journey with KapilHi all! I've done this tour on my first day of my journey in nepal. The guide was fun and showed interest in what he explained. He is very knowledgeble and makes you interested in the subject. He told many things we did not know about history and culture of Nepal. I recommend this tour.
- 406eves00Amazing serviceThe whole experience was well organised. All communication was very clear and prompt responses provided. The safari experience above all was breath taking and exceeded our expectations. The meals provided were all excellent and Baghwat even took is to dinner with us on the last night. 5 stars overall
- hannabA2830ST00Amazing bucket list trip! This was a bucket list trip and everything about the tripnwas amazing. Our guides, Prakash and Urken, adapted to our group's needs, helped us feel comfortable and shared a lot of great knowledge so we could participate in the culture of Nepal along the trek. I can't imagine this trip without the support of our guides and porters. They all were attentive and helpful and professional throughout. Our time in Kathmandu was also fun and we had a lot of opportunities to see Bhagwat, which felt like having a personal concierge for all of our questions. I have already recommended this company to friends and coworkers.
- KHMNC00Great to Work WithWe did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in May 2023. If you are going to do this, you can’t go wrong with Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours. They were incredibly easy to work with, easy to communicate with in advance, and very accommodating while we were in country. Our guide was Prakas and our Porter was Manoj—I would recommend them both to you; you’d be lucky to work with them!
- Chris S00Great Trek, Excellent OutfitterThe trek was fantastic. I've never experienced mountains like this before. There was plenty of time for photography and interaction with other trekkers. Each day on the trek, at the end of the day, if somehow the trek had had to end, I would have left happy. We were a family group of 6 with varying hiking speeds, and were combined with 2 people from India for the trek. Through careful selection of guide and assistant guide, Himalayan Adventure Treks was able to accommodate all languages and hiking speeds. The head guide was attentive, flexible, and good at solving any problem. Compared to guides we saw for other groups, he was especially good. We were shuttled effortlessly from and to the airport all the many times required upon arrival of multiple subsets of participants, for the trek itself, and then for departure home. Their office is near the hotel, and Himalayan Adventure Treks regularly checked in to make sure we were happy with how everything was going before and after the trek. We ended up having a couple of people helicoptered out (not emergencies) from the last town near EBC, and Himalayan Adventure Treks effortlessly coordinated all the complicated logistics associated with that. Very highly recommended, both as a trek to do, and as an outfitter.
- spadix00Highly recommended trek and organising company! The EBC trek is an aspirational one for many including myself. I would like to thank the team of Himalayan Adventure - proprietor Mr. Bhagwat Simkhada, main guide Mr. Prakash Adhikari, assistant guide Mr. Urken Sherpa and the whole team of porters - for helping me achieve this dream. They are amazing people to trek with. Never lost sight of me for a moment during the entire trek and went to great lengths to ensure that even a novice trekker like me was able to enjoy the trek completely. The team is so professional no one will ever realise the amount of back-breaking hard work that goes on behind the scenes. I saw many groups consisting of members with different trekking pace but only one guide, which meant that invariably the novice trekkers were left to fend for themselves at the back-end every day. Team Himalayan Adventure will never do that to you, whatever be the circumstances. You can trust them 1000% and that is why I will not hesitate to do more treks with them in the future. They are also very good with pointing out the local customs, points of interest and good practices on trek wrt diet/nutrition and overall well-being. As for the EBC trek itself, words cannot do it justice. Ignore all the negative comments from certain quarters about how crowded or commercialized it is. Come and experience it. Your experience is your own and cannot be dictated by others (many of whom may have never done it)! It's a hallmark trek and with good reason. Despite being the busiest of seasons I was lucky to have experienced hours and hours of solitude during the trek as well as serendipitous company almost on tap. That's the beauty of this long trek replete with a full gamut of scenes to enjoy. Everyone who is on the trek - irrespective of nationality or culture or religion or whatever - is only positive and encouraging, spurring you on to finish it well. Commercial and crowded it may be construed as, but I didn't find a single individual who wasn't positive or excited to be there irrespective of their underlying health condition, and pushing themselves safely to finish it (there were many on it who would normally have been considered as "unfit" for an endeavour like this). Be there to witness possibly the best of humanity. And let it bite that latent bug in you that will no doubt see you undertake more treks in the beautiful country of Nepal.
- sairambodana7600Fantastic experience and trek with Himalayan AdvantureTour planning and execution was marvelous, the hospitality took care care by Mr. Bhagawat was fantastic, he treated like a family friend. - 335seemar00Memorable trek in the Himalayas!Himalayan Adventures was a pleasure to work with. The owner, Bhagwat Simkhada, was prompt and responsive to our queries right from the start. Our main guide, Bharat Simkada, was skilled, experienced, and resourceful. The rest of the team - asst. guide Manoj, and porters Dikpal and Santosh, were kind, caring and very fun to be with. Our teen had some nausea and dizziness on the second day of our trip, which had us worried. Bharat reassured us that it was not AMS (this is where his experience showed) and the entire team took special care of her such that she was back to action and roaring ahead in a couple of days. We bonded like family and had a fulfilling and beautiful journey to Annapurna Base Camp. This was a memorable trip for us, and Himalayan Adventure was a big part of making it so.
- IvanP118300Wonderful trip to Annapurna & amazing trekWhat an amazing trip of our lives! :) Thank you for that! The owner, Baghwat communicated with me and it was very easy and clear at all times. He organized all for us, trips, hotels...etc. Very nice guy! Thank you, Baghwat! We had a guide, Barat and he was exceptional. At all times, he was checking if we were okay during the trek. Organized our meals. Our porter, Monoj, was a big help during our trip. They made a friendly and helpful team who was there for us at all times. Thank you, guys! You are the stars! :) I fell in love with the country and people of Nepal. Food also! :D Thank you for this experience. Recommendations all around for this trip and the team who organized it. A big hello from Serbia from Alejandra & Ivan! See you soon I hope! :)
- Oscarjz2300Great experience with the best guide and porters. 100% recommended! You can’t go wrong with Himalayan Adventures because it is made up of good people and well organized/run. Prakash was our Mardi Himal trek guide, and you couldn’t ask for a better guide. Prakash is a highly skilled guide who was funny, caring, motivating, and a patient guide dealing with my frequent questioning of “how much longer.” Our porters consisted of Manoj, Dikpal, Santos 1, and Santos 2. They were a kind, friendly, attentive group always there for us. The owner, Bhagwat, was always responsive and available to answer our questions. I was not physically prepared for this last minute trek so thank you for the kindness and encouragement helping me get past the day 1 climb that almost broke me.
- julianmX1783CD00Great Trek experiencePrakash was an excellent tour guide for our family group of 8. I really appreciated his attentivenes to my mom and sister who unfortunately got sick during the trek but were still able to finish with his help. Our porters (Manoj, Dikpal, Santos 1, and Santos 2) were also very friendly and helpful guiding others in our group who hiked faster. Both Prakash and the porters kept the hike fun and safe. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of doing a trek in Nepal.
- Owen W00Everest view motorbike tripGreat way to see Everest in a different way with some incredible scenery on the way! , the bikes were easy to ride and hotels were good and teahouses give you a traditional experience. There was a bit of free time in the evenings so bring a book! Badri was an excellent guide and did everything from temples in the city, trekking, guide on bike and also a mechanic.. Bhagwat was a great host. Both made the trip incredibly easy for me, everything needed was included.
- RodMcLeod00Monastery worth the long walk upThis is an iconic site to visit in Bhutan. Some 94 % of foreign tourists visit it for good reason. To reach the Monastery situated at the end of a long climb, you need to walk approximately 4.2 kms. From the parking lot to the mid-trail cafe, is 2kms. Then to the top of the trail is another 1 km. But then you must proceed another 1 km down into a gorge and then up to the monastery entrance. From the entrance you need to go up about 50 steps to the monastery level. The monastery is multi-level, with a number of small to larger Buddhist chapels in which various statues of revered gods are featured. Some of the statues are quite graphic. There are two ways to reach the monastery - 1) by mule until the cafe from which you must walk or 2) walk all the way. Be sure to bring water. I walked it in 1:22 all the way to the monastery, without stopping. That is a fast pace. A more leisurely walk will require 2+ hours. Plan on a 4-5 hour roundtrip. The cafe offers breakfasts and lunches but I gather they must be reserved through your guide. I thought the offered buffet lunch when we were there was poor. They do make good coffee (which comes with cookies but you must ask for them). Soft drinks and water are available. The best thing I can say about the cafe is that it has a large deck with a great view of Tiger's Nest. Last advice: if you walk ahead of your group, make sure you have a ticket with you and your guide's license number. Otherwise, you will not be allowed into the monastery on your own.

Annapurna Base Camp Heli tour is the most amazing experience I ever had in my life. From the very beginning we had chat with mr Bhagwat and he reply and trying to give the right information straight away. We had a great Xmas holiday 2019. It was worthy and wonderful experience. Incredible Annapurna views and hot coffee in cold place above 4000 m.

During our stay in Nepal i did the Short trekking in Annapurna region up to Poonhill sunrise view as we are senior citizen. Which was amazing and beautiful sunrise from Ghorepani poonhill. My guide Prakash and porter manoj was brilliant. They make our trip very interesting and joyful. On the same time we did the early heli flight to Annapurna base camp where we were not able to work so we took the helicopter help to reach there. It was my best experience in my entire life. We had a cup of coffee in Base camp. It was good that the hotel in ABC was just recover of last year snow fall. It was good memory for us and once again thank you so much for Bhagwat to arrange this both trekking and heli tour.
