About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 412estellej0 contributionsAn amazing tripThe guide, Dhanraj Gurung, was so amazing. He had so much stories to tell about the different ethnic groups, stories about the mountain. He was also humanly and psychologically very clever. We also had a lot's of fun. so to resume the trip, it was a spiritual journey with a lot's of informations about history and a lot's of fun guarantee. Perfect mix!!! I highly recommend the agency and ask for this wonderful human being, you will be fully happy.Written April 19, 2024
- K9400IYjackk0 contributionsAnnapurna base campMy guide Gobinda was excellent and i would highly recommend anyone coming to Nepal to ask for him on any trek you want to experience. He communicated with me every step of the way and kept me informed about the days plans and what to expect. His english skills are excellent and he even knows Korean. Gobinda also helped me order clean food to stay in good health during our trek. He's a guide that cares and goes out of his way to make trekking a great experienceWritten April 2, 2024

- 303johanno0 contributions7 Day Trek of Langtang in Nov/Dec 2023 just off seasonVery competent and friendly guide, thanks a bunch Mr Milan! There was no hassle with the organizational stuff (TIMS, national park entry fee etc.). I had a blast and was happy to have chosen to book a guide (although that is optional people, even with the new law, do your research). The accommodations are mainly teahouses, which you should also research before hand but I do not think there are other options available. The Trek is challenging for absolute beginners. But especially if you don't mind missing the pretty good but exhausting to reach view at the end, the physical strain is definitely manageable. The monastery is nice to look at but if it is a major point for you, look at a few pictures, it's not that large. Having the river with you every step of the way gives you an enchanting companion. If you like rivers. Happy to answer any questions if that is something TripAdvisor allows ^^ +4915736498277Written December 5, 2023
- hePugh0 contributionsPoon Hill TrekHad an absolutely fantastic time on the Poon Hill trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Our guide, Shankar was brilliant. Spoke great English, had a great sense of humour and let us go at our own pace; which was quite a lot slower than his 😅 The accommodation was nice considering where we were, with comfortable beds and warm showers and the food that was offered was always fresh and to a high quality. Recommend this company and would honestly ask for Shankar too.Written October 16, 2023
- H6559YRdanh0 contributionsThe best trip everThis trip was amazing. Very well organized by company. Provided with all information and necessary tips to make your hike safe and pleasant. Furthermore, my guide,Dadhi, is amazing person. He is super helpful and friendly. Explained every single step and assist with all things starting from ordering food and taking amazing pictures of me. I had a great time. Beautiful nature and beautiful people. There were moments when I was speechless, because there are no words to describe that wonders. Highly recommend this company and a specially best guide Dadhi.😊Written May 14, 2023
- Outsideintervention0 contributionsThis is the one! This was a last minute addition to our stay in Pokhara, and was absolutely phenomenal. The driver arrived on time and took excellent care of us as he showed us around the beautiful city and many historic museums, temples and sights. He did a great job explaining the history before we arrived at each stop, and negotiated as needed the entrance fees or costs involved. We got to see many things that were off the beaten path and enjoyed taking in everything Pokhara has to offer. It’s a beautiful place, with beautiful people, an abundance of history, and rich with culture. We were very impressed with our tour.Written April 30, 2023
- H7245TEmarioc0 contributions15 days around AnnapurnaAt the end of october 2022 we did a trekking two weeks around Annapurna organized by Nepal Vision, it was very beautiful and every thing worked well, the guide was punctual and professional and he was able to suggest alternative routes in case of bad weather. The choices of lodges was accurate and also the welcome. In short, thanks to the organization a nice trek without any problem.Written November 15, 2022
- irenebQ4302AV0 contributionsWhat it started amazing, ended horriblyThe advertisement and guide Miland didnt warn us about the difficulty of the trek, which was much longer and much harder than expected. We didnt have enough water. We couldn't finish the trip and had to stop at World Peace Pagoda (after 6hours trekking). We were dead and the guide didnt give us a break. They wanted to change us 1,500 rupees to bring us back to the hotel after we gave him a very good tip to leave us and finish the trip. When we arrive to the hotel, we had blisters, hurts, mosquito bites and five leeches (one of them had sucked me a lot of blood, and our socks and shoes where full of blood). This route is not for everyone! You have to take one or two litres of water per person, food and trek clothes and shoes (the advertisement only says comfortable clothes and we wore sports clothes, but it wasnt good enough). The path is full of rocks, mud, water... You can easily sprain an ankle in the middle of nowhere. At sunrise is quite cold and then it is really hot when your climbing the mountain. In a nutshell, we werent warned, we couldnt foresee all those troubles and when we were exhausted, we where in the middle of nowhere and the guide insisted to go until Pagoda and then charged us lots of extra money, without pitty. The sunset and the beggining of the trip was very nice.Written October 19, 2022
- JemAndy060 contributions4D/3N PoonHill Short Circuit Trek4D/3N Poonhill - Grandruk short trek circuit. From the first contact with the company they have been very prompt, polite and helpful in answering our questions. We subsequently booked with Nepal Mountain Club. Ravi visited us at our hotel the day before our trek to take payment and answer any final questions we had in regards to items to take on the trek, as well as giving us more detail about the next few days. Ravi again was very polite, friendly and very pleasant to deal with. Day 1: we were collected promptly at 8:30am by a taxi, along with our guide Dadhi. Ravi also came at 8:30am to make sure we got off swiftly and that everything was okay and to give Dadhi our hiking permits which they had organised for us. After a 1.5hr scenic drive to Nayapool we left our taxi driver and commenced our hike. We hiked for around 3hrs uphill to a lunch stop. The menu was tailored to hikers, eg. Pasta, noddles, rice etc, which averaged around 450npr for a dish and 200npr for a fizzy drink. We then continued for another xxxxx hrs to Ulleri where we slept over night. Again, the food on offer was very similar and very nice. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it was very basic but all it needed to be, with an en-suite and “proper toilet”. The format for ordering food throughout was; arrive to our accommodation, preorder our dinner for a desired time via Dadhi, then before heading to bed we preordered our breakfast for the following morning at a set time. Accommodation: Purnima Guest House, Ulleri Day 2: After having breakfast we left around 7:30am for a shorter days trekking of approximately 4.5hrs, we got to Ghorepani at around 12pm, where we stayed the night. It was nice to relax and unwind for the afternoon, again the accommodation was basic but very nice, comfortable beds with a panoramic mountain view. The shower was gas boiler heated. Fine. The weather was very cloudy so the visibility was very poor for the rest of the day/evening. We suggest taking some playing cards for this afternoon as there isn’t much else to do. Accommodation: Hotel Moon Light, Ghorepani Day 3: We woke up at 4am, left at 4:30am to catch the sunrise at Poonhill, which was a 45minute moderate hike uphill. Fortunately, the weather had improved significantly and the sunrise and panoramic views were incredible (see photo). At 6:15am we descended back to our tea house for breakfast at 7am, we left around 8am for the longest day of trekking. This was 4hrs to the lunch stop, xxxx, then an additional hour to Tadapani following 3hrs downhill to Ghandruk where we stayed the night. Accommodation was similarly basic but all it needed to be including an en-suite with a proper toilet. Accommodation: Meshrom Guest House, Ghandruk Day 4: We left around 8am for a 4hr downhill trek back to Nayapool, where we had lunch and met our taxi driver for the 1.5hr journey back to our hotel in Pokhara. Throughout, our guide, Dadhi, was very organised, ensuring everything ran really smoothly, I.e. checking into rooms, ordering food etc. He was very friendly and a good addition to our trek. We would have preferred him to be a little more talkative and give us a bit more informative regarding our locality. A lot of the time we had to ask questions to learn things, information was not as forthcoming as we would have liked, but the responses to our questions were very interesting and informative. It is clear that Dadhi is a very experienced guide, as you would expect seeing as he has done this for 24 years. Prior to our trek we were advised on a suggested packing list, however this did not include some items we subsequently found important. We suggest taking a fully charged battery pack to cover you for the duration (we had no electricity in most tea houses due to power outages relating to the weather), head torch/phone torch for the morning hike up poon hill/in rooms, toilet paper (there is none), Do not rely on mobile data or Wi-Fi during this trek as it is temperamental and unreliable. Overall, we had a brilliant 4 days with a nice variety of weather, views and terrains. We would highly recommend this short trek to others. It is possible to do this yourselves quite easily without a guide, as footpaths are very clear and obvious. However, we are glad we booked with Nepal Mountain Club because it was completely hassle free, giving us more time to enjoy our surroundings at the time and focus on planning other elements of our RTW trip.Written August 24, 2022

We organised a 3 day trek to Poon Hill and when one of our members was ill Sunil managed to shift it right one day with no issue at short notice. The guide Krishna was great; professional, friendly and very informative. The organisation was incredible. We were so impressed Krishna organised us an extra two days treking at no notice as additional members joined our group. Also accomodated one person leaving the trek early with an extra guide. Being presented with certificates was a great extra touch. Could not have had a better experience thanks to Sunil and Krishna.

We have just returned to Kathmandu after an amazing 4 day Poon Hill trek. We were so impressed with how slick and professional the whole trip was.
We initially met with our guide Krishna in our Pokhara Hotel the evening before our trek was to commence. He explained where we would be going on a map and walked us to a store where we were able to rent a pack.
The next morning Krishna dropped off one of his own packs for another member of our group at 6.45 before we were picked up at 8 by Krishna and a driver.
As we were a bit slow on our 3rd day we opted to stay in Tadapani for the night so that our trek was around 5 hours instead of 8 and paid 2500 Nepalese Rupees for a jeep to take us the rest of the way down from Ghandruk on the 4th day.
We cannot express how amazing it was trekking with Krishna. Not only did he make the journey full of fun and laughter but his knowledge of the area, the culture and the people meant that he was able to make our trip so special. The entire trip he was able to adapt to our trekking abilities. We were always fed exceptionally well, and Krishna's English was great. At no point in our journey were there any problems with communication with him and he would happily translate and communicate our wishes with locals who had limited English skills.
Krishna turned an enjoyable treck with fantastic views into an unforgettable journey with friends.

Sunil and his team were extremely flexible when it came to organising our 3 day trek to Poon Hill. Some of our group became unwell just before we started,Sunil postponed our trek by a day without any fuss.
Our guide Krishna was fantastic, he managed the group of 11 very well on the trek. He even went out of his way to help some of our group prepare for their upcoming Annapurna circuit trek. Krishna and Sunil organised a second trek for us whilst still completing the first so that we could really make the most of our time in Pokhara.
We managed to squeeze in a helicopter trip to Annapurna Base Camp before our flight home, this wouldn't have been possible without the assistance of Sunil and his team!

This trek was one of the best moment’s of my life, the tour guide Bisham was exceptionally polite and helpful regarding all matters. He really looked after me and within a day I felt like he wasn’t my tour guide but a genuine friend. He is attentive to all your needs and has superb knowledge of the trek and the places visited, and he is aware of what sort of pace to set as I was never uncomfortably fatigued despite having never been on a trek before.
The sights we saw were absolutely stunning and he was more than happy to wait for photos and actually pointed out a few great locations to get the camera out himself. Some of the photos I took don’t look real because they are that fantastic and breathtaking.
I would highly highly highly recommend this trek, it was one of the best trips of my life, and make sure to ask for Bisham when booking because he is an amazing guide and an amazing human being.
Next year I am hoping to go to Annapurna base camp, Everest base camp and do the Annapurna circuit with Bisham all being well.
Thank you so much

4 days trekking, We've never done such a long trek. But we could complete it all because we had such a great guide! If without him, then the trip wouldn't have been such a fun. He organized so well! with appropriate suggestions, on time schedule and very thoughtful arrangements. We did 4 days trekking with Krishna which is the one of the best things happened in our Nepal trip.
Our trip become fun, safe, protected and unforgettable.
He has been getting along not only with us but also other trekking group, guides, guesthouse staffs, and porters. You'd know how this contributed our fun trip in the end.
I recommend him and his company to anyone.
Thanks Krishna ( daijobu deshita, arihato!)

I had the best trek thanks to my awesome guide Milan who was so friendly and helpful and made the experience a trip of a lifetime. From the beginning to end the trip was customised to my walking speed and very well organised. It allowed me to enjoy my trek knowing everything else was being taken care of.

We (my wife and I) booked the 4 day trek to Poon Hill via Tripadvisor webpage. Immediate response from Sunil and after a few claryfications regarding needed documents, etc., we were looking forward to our Nepal trip. Perfectly in time, on September 1, our guide, Krishna, and a driver waited in the lobby of our hotel. Krishna was very friendly and seemed a little bit shy (maybe, because we're double his age). Our group was small: the two of us and Krishna. Because of the brilliant weather(not guaranteed in the rainy season), he brought us at first to Nagarkot by car, that we can enjoy the beautiful view there. Great extra value of the trip. Then we went to Nayapul, where our trek started. Our first day was hard. Hot, sunny, damp. The first part of the journey is very steep and you have to watch your steps carefully. Krishna adapted to our velocity (good for us, that we were in a private group). At the end of the day, he supposed, that we change the plan, shorten the day distances and take on the last day a jeep from Kimche to Nayapul. He arranged new guesthouses for the nights and the jeep. That was a good idea. We went to Poon Hill, had enough time to enjoy the environment and take photographs on our tour. Otherwise, also because of the rough pathways, you look all the time to your feet and are only rushing from one target to the next. If you want it as a challenge, ok. But if this trip is meant as a strenuous, but enjoyable part of your holidays, take your time. Krishna completely adjusted the trip to our needs. In the guesthouses, we talked and played games together. At the the end, he brought us home safely.
One day later Krishna and Sunil came to our hotel and handed over our "adventure certificate". Very nice. It was a very positive experience for us. Thanks to Krishna and Nepal Mountain Club.

No issue, we will store your bags during your trek. Only necessary stuff will be taken to the trek.
