About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- mikelondontraveller0 contributionsFantastic experience on the Annapurna circuitWe had a wonderful time doing the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Rahman our guide and Amrit our porter. The scenery was amazing, especially how it changed from verdant green lower in the valley, to mountainous and snowy at the Thorong-La pass. Rahman looked after us very well and always ensured we were well fed, felt comfortable and had good tea house rooms. The tea houses themselves are basic, but that’s part of the charm of the experience. Definitely better than camping!! Laxman was also great at communicating in the run-up to the trip and during our stay in Nepal. We’d definitely recommend booking with Adventure Bound.Written October 10, 2024
- timglo230 contributionsAmazing Annapurna Circuit trekFrom the booking process right through to the end of our trek we had a great experience with Adventure Bound. We did the Annapurna circuit from Jagat to Jomsom with 8 days of actual trekking plus the acclimatisation day in Manang. Laxman was responsive and informative pulling together and agreeing our itinerary. When my partner and I arrived there was some severe weather which meant we had to make a change to our trek start date. But this was all handled professionally by Laxman and our fantastic guide Rahman who sorted everything out. The trek was a truly special experience which we will remember for a long time. Rahman went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. He did all he could to get us the best rooms in the tea houses and was very knowledgeable about the scenery and culture along the whole route. He took us on some higher trekking paths with amazing views that we know those with some other group’s guides missed out on, taking the lower routes. Our porter Amrit also did a great job carrying most of our stuff! The flight back from Jomsom to Pokhara was also a highlight. If you’re looking for an expertly planned private trekking tour in Nepal with all your needs catered for then look no further. It is a great local company based in Kathmandu that sorts everything out for you, and for great value compared to western companies.Written October 10, 2024
- Anja S0 contributionsHighly recommended professional trekking company with a personal touchI had booked the ABC-trek with Poonhill, but could not start it on time due to the bad condition of the road to Pokhara after heavy rainfall. Laxman and my guide Robin were very helpful and flexible to adjust the trek according to the circumstances and my wishes. Robin is a great and experienced guide knowing all places and many people so well, always ensuring I felt safe and that got a good room and decent food. The communication was always excellent. I highly recommend Adventure Bound.Written October 10, 2024
- Jet027885779230 contributionsWonderful service and hospitality of my guideMy guide was very kind to me and had gave me great, wonderful and unforgettable opportunity in Nepal. Even though the weather was not so good and as a result, I stayed extra 2days at Lukla but with his great effort and hospitality, I could enjoyed my journey and came back to Japan on time. If I have a chance to visit Nepal again, I would like to ask him to guide me.Written October 2, 2024
- Y4600CQsveng0 contributionsA wonderful experienceWe had a really wonderful time. The Mardi Himal trek includes some absolutely breathtaking scenes and beautiful mountain views. Our guide Rabin made our experience the best we could have imagined. With his friendly and loving manner we felt well and safely guided the whole time. He always chose nice and clean rooms for us and even served us fresh fruit every evening to make sure we had enough energy for the next day. He was always able to explain the nature and the mountains to us in very good English. We would be more than happy to have Rabin by our side again on our next trek. We didn't feel like customers, we felt like friends. The adventure bounds agency did a really good job. They planned our trip perfectly and made us feel very welcome and professional. They also gave us a very reasonable price. We are already looking forward to booking with them again.Written September 26, 2024
- radikag20240 contributionsBest day tourThis tour is great if you don’t have much time and want to see everything in one day. Our guide Ramesh was the best guide.helped us get details information about the place we went. All the heritage sites were beautiful. We took great pictures. We were traveling with family but we didn’t feel rushed. We had great experiences Highly recommend Adventure bound team.Written August 9, 2024
- Camper652452349550 contributionsHighly recommendedI recently visited Kathmandu and stayed at the Madhuban Hotel. Upon our arrival, Laxman warmly welcomed me, making me feel at home and helping us start to understand this extraordinary place. Although our stay was short, Laxman's guidance and advice gave me valuable insights and let me truly experience the unique energy of Kathmandu. I booked a 2-day Kathmandu tour with his agency, Adventure Bound, which made our experience much richer. I doubt we could have connected with the city this deeply on my own. I am deeply grateful for Laxman's help and look forward to returning to Kathmandu again.Written July 29, 2024

- 387arjuna0 contributionsAnnapurna circuit Road TripAdventure Bound is an amazing company. Our guide Rabin was one of the best Guides. Within 7 days he felt like a family to us with endless jokes and hidden gems all across Upper Musthang, Lo Manthang. Thanks to him our stays were also discounted. Do ask for Rabin if you are booking with Adventure Bound. Also Tarun ji who is a partner in the company is a man you can trust. He arranged Nepali Money, Stays everything with such short notice that we are so glad we met him in nepal. Overall, I would definitely recommend Adventure Bound.Written June 12, 2024
- 760kais0 contributionsEBC trecking very flexibleWe had a lot of special requests, all of which were catered for. The trekking plan was adapted flexibly and was designed for safety against altitude sickness, which worked wonderfully. We were given very warm down jackets and sleeping bags (unfortunately they weren't really suitable for sleeping in a tent in the mount everest base camp, but we bought good ones and are very happy with them). Our guide Bibek deserves a special mention. He always kept his nerve with all our last-minute changes of plan, even when we had to abandon the idea of the base camp marathon due to my extreme sleep apnoea. The lodges and rooms that Bibek had chosen for us were all super nice and beautiful. He always took good care of us, including making sure we got enough vitamins. Our lovely young porter Fura was simply great and followed us around in record time. He was always cheerful, even though we had a bit too much stuff with us. All in all, great care, so we want to come again (with Bibek and Fura, if possible). Many thanksWritten May 30, 2024
- akemio4720 contributionswonderful trip! All in all, it was a wonderful trip! I would like to thank Adventure Bound, the guides, and porters for their support, which far exceeded my expectations. Since this was my first solo trip to Nepal, I had a lot of detailed questions before participating, but they answered them thoroughly and I was able to participate with peace of mind. I probably asked about 50 questions, but I received more detailed answers than I expected. The toilet situation, how to spend time at the lodge, etc. The process was just right and I had plenty of free time, which was helpful. My guide, Mr. Jiban, was always there to watch over me so that I could trek safely, and he was always considerate of me during meals so that I wouldn't get bored. They took many good photos of me, and went beyond their role as a guide to stay close to me. The porters also kept us safe and supported. After trekking, I stayed at a hotel owned by this company in Kathmandu, and the staff took good care of me. If I ever come to Nepal again, I would like to join Adventure Bound!Written May 14, 2024
- P4014UWshelleyh0 contributionsFive stars to the company and the staff! We highly recommend Adventure Bound. Laxman was efficient, communicative and accommodating helping to develop our perfect plan. The team took care of every detail and made our plan seamless, allowing us to simply be present. We were lucky to get Santosh as our guide for our trek and he made the experience so memorable. He was thoughtful, proactive, kind and funny. From teaching us Dumbal to bringing fresh fruit for us every day and always ensuring we have the best of everything from rooms to busses to views. We cannot recommend him more highly. Manoj our porter was a great addition and he went out of his way to make the experience easy and wonderful.Written May 7, 2024

Especially our guide Raman did an excellent job. He read every wish from our lips, organized very nice guesthouses and alwasy gave us the right motivation. We booked our Poon Hill 4 day trek when we arrived in Kathmandu via Laxman. We made our own way to Pokhara and were met promptly by our guide Raman. The whole 4 days exceeded my expectations. Everything was seemlessly organised with beautiful meal stops along the way, stunning views from our rooms in the tea houses and a beautiful route to Poon Hill. Raman made us feel safe and welcomed and was just a delight to be around. I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family. What an amazing 4 days!!

We would like to thank the company Adventure Bound and especially Mr. Laxman, for our trip to Pokhara and 4 days trekking in the mountains near of it!
It was amazing and impressive trip, the planning and organisation were at the highest level, with all the small details and with a very reasonable price.
Starting with a real comfortable bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara (with AC) and followed by good transportation , accommodation and a professional and very nice guide, Raman.
We fully recommend Mr. Laxman and his company.

Excellent trip, would 100% recommend! Despite booking 36 hours before on arrival in Kathmandu everything was seamless. Our guide Raman was lovely and waited on us hand and foot, could not have asked for anything more! He gave accurate descriptions and timings of the trek and was encouraging throughout. The accommodation, food and views were beyond my expectations. Will definitely be booking through them again.

We did the Poonhill trek with guide Raj Silwal and had a great trip. Except excellent hiking, beautiful nature and good weather we really enjoyed to company of our guide Raj. He was funny, polite, had a lot of knowledge about culture, nature, animals and traditions and we felt he was always doing a little extra to give us the ultimate experience. Nepal is amazing and we are definitely coming back to do more treks with you! Best regards, Nina and Christine from Norway :-)

We had a good experience during the 4 days of our Trek and the services were optimal in our budget. Our guide Raj took special care of the facilities with his own personal touch and was very hospitable.

Rabin Magar was a great guide for a solo trekker, thanks for Adventure Bound for organising it. We went to lots of places where he had great local knowledge and was able to tell me alot about the mountains. He genuinely seemed like a lovely guy to travel with and i recomend him for future travellers.
Every place we stayed at he knew people and would try make you feel at home. Full stars and no complaints.

We have just finshed the Poon Hill treck during our first time visiting Nepal. Well what can I say? We have had an amazing experience and while we have shown great willing and worked extremely hard we could not have completed this adventure without our guide Bibek Bhatta.
From the start Bibek showed his experience and class with knowledge of not only the Poon Hill trail, but also ABC and Everest Base camp (I would 100% be confident to contact him in the future if we looked to make one of these trails)
Bibek was keen to answer our questions on religion, nepal, culture and anything else we had to ask. We certainly feel as though we have gone through both a learning and fitness experience.
He gave the perfect balance between making sure we was challenged but also allowing us to move at our own pace.
Bibek' s English was excellent which meant that we could have plenty of fun along the way. His connections on the mountain ensured that we stayed in the best guest houses, avoided bad weather and got to experience the best views at the best time of day (That's what we are going for right?).
Bibek's hospitality didn't end on the mountain when he realised our outbound journey from Nepal wouldnt work he supported having the flight times changed and when we thought we was going to miss out on Phewa lake he continued as a guide to make sure our Pokhara experience was complete before ensureing that we made it to the airport on time. (He has just messaged to make sure we have made our journey safely). It feels as though we have made a friend.
On reflection I think that the guide can make or break your trip and while I know there will be other good ones in Nepal Bibek was fantastic.
Anyway a picture paints a thousand words...
