About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Flyer124344348470 contributionsFabulous experienceThe agency that organized our trip to Nepal was absolutely fabulous, and I highly recommend it on every level. Dipendra is extremely professional and meticulous, ensuring that every detail is perfectly managed. This is the second time we’ve traveled with this agency, and it certainly won’t be the last!Written November 28, 2024
- 813tareky0 contributionsAgreeable, educational and UnforgettableIncredible experience that leads after the most dangerous flight on world to the highest base camp on the world offring a view on the highest pik on the world, and above all, with the kindest guide Phadam which was attentif, organised and having a good mood. Unique experience with wondrtful landscapes and varied and unforgettable meetingsWritten November 27, 2024
- mohenl0 contributionsBreathtaking views of EverestFriendly and professional service. Clear instructions. Convenient hotel pickup and dropoff. The flight crew was extremely kind and helpful in pointing out the various peaks, and the views were amazing. Definitely recommend!Written November 25, 2024
- Josephine L0 contributionsWon’t recommendThe tour guide was late for two hours already on the first day. Some places were missing and no compensation on time or money. On the second day the weather was so bad, raining cats and dogs plus thunderstorms. With some common sense, this is dangerous for hiking in the open area. The tour guide did not check weather forecast before the tour, did not know the sunrise time (this’s on the agenda of seeing sunrise, did not know the height of mountain, mistakenly point the direction of Annapurna South (mixed up with Annapurna I), no information on the history and culture of the city, very unprofessional! Basically, I feel like everyone who can speak English, who can call themselves as tour guides, no license, no regulations. Besides, I dislike they kept asking for tips everyday, very tiring to entertain their requests in whole trip.Written November 16, 2024
- 676claref0 contributionsThe highlight of our stay in NepalThe Everest Mountain flight was a highlight of our trip. Our tour guides communicated with us efficiently over WhatsApp, were on time to collect us from the front of our hotel in Bhaktapur, and were clear with what we needed to do. Our flight with Shree Airlines was delayed by over two hours to ensure the weather was at its best and it was worth the wait. Our flight attendants took time to ensure everyone knew what they were seeing and we all had windows seats. Despite the long delays, our drivers were waiting for us exactly as arranged and dropped us home without a hitch. Highly recommend these people.Written November 15, 2024

- N4153YAkays0 contributionsFeel the jungleChitwan ist a must have seen place in Nepal. The Tour is good organized and the friendly guide knows all about the national Park, plants and animals. The comfortable tower ist the best chance to see wild animals at night. Recommendation for this tour.Written November 10, 2024
- sarahtD9598OG0 contributionsBucket List Experience—WOW!!!It’s impossible to capture how breathtaking and flawless the experience was from start to finish. Please don’t hesitate to book, as this relatively short early morning flight—the views, the awe, the magnificent photos and memories—will remain for life! From the 5:15 am pick up, to the airport check-in and process, to the flight alongside an attendant who gave personal attention and great explanation, to the return to Kathmandu, I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, remarkable experience. THANK YOU and Namaste!Written October 27, 2024
- Mark C0 contributionsStunning viewsPick up from my hotel was on time in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle. I arrived at the airport with plenty of time to get to the mountain flight. Dipendra walked me to security and explained where I needed to go and where he would be waiting for me when I returned. On the flight everyone was in a window seat so that they could get a full view of the mountains on either the flight out or the return. The cabin crew walked around to every passenger to point out exactly which mountains we were looking at. I was lucky as there was no cloud on the day of my tour, but be aware that cloud cover could affect your view of the mountains.Written October 27, 2024
- 199seths0 contributionsBeautiful early morning Everest viewsAwesome way to spend a couple of hours if you aren’t able to trek to Everest. Hari was great, he set everything up and got us to the flight on time. The views were incredible and the airline staff answered all our questions.Written October 25, 2024
- OnAir278984015690 contributionsHassle free airport transportationWe used Welcome Nepal Treks - Day Tours for airport transfer service from Kathmandu airport to our hotel. They were great and extremely flexible. It should be noted that most (all?) taxis and cars in Nepal are very small vehicles and you will likely struggle to fit more than 2 passengers and their luggage in a vehicle. We are a family of 4 traveling with one large trekking backpack each and 1 small personal item each (not an excessive amount of luggage by our typical standards) and we were not able to all fit into 1 standard taxi on our return to the airport and had to book 2. Also note that you will also be inundated with taxi touters and people selling transport services upon arrival at the airport. I personally find these situations extremely stressful and overwhelming and prefer to pre-book transfer so as to avoid the stress of negotiating a ride in a crowded noisy arrival hall or at the curb while tired and lugging our baggage around. For these reasons I highly recommend pre-booking airport transfer, it’s a simple luxury that can really improve the experience of your trip. In addition our flight was delayed and it took us an exceptionally long time to clear customs and immigration as our flight delay caused us to arrive at the same time as several other very large flights. Nevertheless, our airport transfer (Nawa) was in constant communication and was waiting for us at arrivals with a smile, despite our very late arrival. We ended up booking a driver and a guide with this company for the following day to take us around Kathmandu (for which I will write a separate review). We had a great experience with both services from this company and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.Written October 25, 2024
- maureencB6495QY0 contributionsAmazing experience in the Chitwan! We had a great experience in the Chitwan on our full day jeep safari and night in the jungle tower. Our guide Gopal was the best at spotting wildlife and predicting their next moves. It was so much fun and our group saw 16 Rhinos over the 3 days. Amazing!! Monkeys, crocodiles, birds, insects, tiger sign and a guide that provided us with so much information about it it all. Highly recommend. Thank you Gopal!Written October 24, 2024
- L4540YJaustinl0 contributionsWonderful 10-Day Trek to Everest Base CampI recently completed a 10-day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp with Welcome Nepal Treks and had an unforgettable experience. While the trek is challenging and some of the accommodations are basic due to the remote Himalayan location, the breathtaking views and unique experiences made it all worthwhile. Hari, the owner, meticulously arranged every aspect of the journey, including meals, lodging, transportation, and an exceptional trekking guide, Mr. Pralad Simkhada. I highly recommend Hari for future trips—though his approach to organizing may initially seem unconventional, you can trust him to deliver an extraordinary adventure.Written October 19, 2024
- 736mayetteg0 contributionsAmazing tour!We visited 4 of the 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and it was amazing! Kesher was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about all of them. The tour was unhurried and he made sure to answer all our questions. We learned a lot from this experience and appreciate the culture more. Thank you to Rama too, for driving us around. Our short stay was both enriching and enjoyable.Written October 15, 2024

The organisation of the trip was excellent, I had one of the company staff contact me on WhatsApp to confirm details two days in advance then met me at my hotel in Kathmandu to start the trip. Everything was organised from that point until I got dropped back to my hotel in Kathmandu, which really takes the hassle out of a trip. The hotel rooms were excellent and they really managed to pack loads of activities into a relatively short period of time. Would recommend if you want to see another thing Nepal has to offer after the mountains.

Overall this is a really good trip from Kathmandu, and everything is arranged for you which makes it really easy. The hotel, Safari club is fine but is a tad rough for western standards in terms of cleanliness, but the food was good, staff was great, and i had a few little problems which they cleared up for me. I would do this trip again.
Recommend that no one do an elephant safari as it is animal abuse, but it is not the companies fault that it is offered as a option in Nepal and Chitwan national park.

I really enjoyed this package deal. You are not there for a long time, but the itinerary allows you to experience a lot in a short time. The accommodation was great and the activities and animals we observed were awesome. I highly recommend!

Really great service and a REALLY good experience. Both the booking process and the trip itself was just excellent. Pickup worked. Great Bus ride (even though we booked at short notice in the festive season) and even when the bus was late arricing back in KTM we where picked up and delivered home. The trip itself was better than expected. Especially the walk in the National Park was really great and we got really close to Rhinos etc. ON FOOT... that was cool... can only recommend highly

Great way to see Chitwan and the wildlife Nepal has to offer. The booking and whole trip was a very smooth process with great communication via WhatsApp. The bus was very clean and comfortable, the accommodation was beautiful and every meal (buffet style) was very good. Well designed activities and we were even lucky enough to see the Bengal tiger!

It was an excellent trip, besides the monsoon, we could enjoy and we did all the activities planned. The trip was very well organized, the bus was in very good condition, we could even arrive to Chitwan earlier than expected. The hotel Safari Adventure Lodge was very nice, it has a big swimming pool, it is quiet, clean, excellent view and service excellent. The guide tour was amazing, he did a very good job. We ended up very happy with all activities, we were lucky and saw rhinos very close. The tour is really worthy.

We loved this trip. Communication was perfect from the start until the end, we could ask anything. The accommodation was excellent, with very good service. The staff was very friendly, the room very comfortable and clean, the food delicious. They helped us with everything we needed. The activities were very interesting: we saw rhino’s, crocodiles and other wildlife. The jungle walk was very exciting and relaxing at the same time. The visit of the elephant breeding centre was lovely, they take very good care of them. We had a kind and well-informed English-speaking local guide who answered all our questions. We would recommend this trip to everyone!

Excellent tour with great service from the agency. Highly recommended this for anyone who looking for some adventure outside of Kathmandu.
The tour provider was very communicative and support me through the whole trip . As a female solo traveler, this was much appreciated.
The lodge is beautiful, clean and provided excellent service.
The staffs and guide were very tentative and knowledgeable.
The food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed it a lot.
2 days packed of activities from sunset walk, we saw a lot of animals including a rhino along the river. We walked through local town and had a glimpse of Tharu people life. I loved the canoe ride, the scene, the animals, just so peaceful. I also liked the safari jeep ride.
