- chanmoil0 contributionsStunning view and well organised trip.Witnessing the awesome panoramic Annapurna massif in a wonderful, memorable 10-day trip to ABC in October 2024 was made possible by Nick and his guides and porters. Impressed by the professionalism and seamlessly organisation, and the courteous and helpful guides and porters, in particular the calmness of guide Tika in handling difficulties faced by some of our travel members. Appreciate the quick response of Nick to my request to rearrange my hotel accommodation and sort out lost of my pad lock key. The 6-day trek would be more superb if the itinerary can be tweaked to suit. Overall a great job by Nick and his staff. Have no hesitation recommending Overland Trek Nepal to hiking enthusiasts.Written November 8, 2024
- F9190UPkevinh0 contributionsEBC through Cho La passWe did the EBC trek in october 2024. It was a big dream for my friends and I (we were 3) to do it just after our studies. We contacted Nick and he made everything clear, he was disponible and really easy to join before booking and even after booking if we had any questions on how to prepare the trek. During about two weeks, we walked up to EBC then coming back through Cho La pass to see the Gokyo lakes. We had an amzing experience during the trek with our guide Tula and our porter. Nick was also reachable at any moments during our entire stay in Nepal, when trekking but also back in Kathmandou which was nice as it was the first time in Nepal for us. The day of the EBC we also wachted the sunset from Kala Patthar. This was one of our favorite moments, seeing mount Everest illuminated by this golden light was just incredible. We created a lot of unforgettable memories during our time in the Hymalayas. By seeing the beautiful mountains, changing landscapes everyday and having a lot of fun with our guide and porter (which where also really helpful during tough segments). At last, thanks again for this adventure. We will definetly come back to Nepal for another trek, maybe in the Manaslu region and we will definetly reach Nick again !Written November 2, 2024
- yapv20240 contributionsfalling in love with Manaslu circuit trekIndeed tough but the views are rewarding. with all guidance from an experienced mountain guide, definitely help us to complete the entire trek safely :) i enjoyed the trek very much!Written October 21, 2024
- leeguatchoo0 contributions14 Days Manaslu Circuit trekA 14 days trip, out of which 4 days was travelling time to get to Machhekhole and from Besi Syahar back to Kathmandu. Trekking days was 10 days and the whole group of 14 completed the circuit trek. Congrats to all ! This achievement was only possible through the amazing leadership of Sabin and his assistant guide and 7 porters who worked tirelessly throughout the 10 days I would like to acknowledge each of them in the team - Sabin, Guryme, Syam, Kumar, Rajkumar, Raj,Purnah, Hari and Nor Badrul. Thank you from the bottom of my heartWritten October 21, 2024
- GoPlaces275444895650 contributionsManaslu Circuit Trek 2024The Manaslu Circuit Trek will take 10 days. The lime light of the trek are at the Manaslu Base Camp and Larkya La Pass. Worth a trek ! - EmTeWe0 contributionsNeed help? Call Nick!We asked Nick for help to organize a helicopter to fly us to Lucla, due to all other flights were either fully booked or cancelled. He organized a flight for the next day early morning. Unfortunately the weather was too bad to fly and Nick tried his best to put us in the very first helicopter the day after. Which worked out and we enjoyed a very great trip with beautiful weather. After come back he showed us a traditional Newari restaurant with all the great dishes. It was an unforgettable experience, even if we europeans were not able to eat all of those delicious food due to the spiciness, but we enjoyed it very much. Thank you Nick! we really appreciate your effort! See you next time again.Written October 17, 2024
- flavi20240 contributionsGood experience in Ama Dablam base campAll can organize a trek in Nepal as the thousand agency in Nepal, but I want to highlighted the serious of Nick, always available, very attentive, very fast on the answers, and the first to find a solution faced to a sudden problem. You can travel safely with this agency ( this is what a tourist is looking for isn’t it ? )Written October 5, 2024
- xrystalt20240 contributionsVery well taken care of as a solo female hiker from SGI arrive at night and also depart at night, Nick keeps in touch to make sure I'm safe. It's my first time traveling alone to do multi-day hike in a very foreign place and I have a lot of questions but Nick is very responsive to answer all my concerns prior to my trip. In addition, I have made enquiries to several agencies and Overland Trek Nepal is one of the few who would take on solo hikers like me. Saroz is my guide from the start when we take the public bus from Kathmandu till when we get back to Kathmandu. He always try to get the best accommodation for me, make sure I eat/drink enough & sleep well + climatize gradually to avoid altitude sickness. He enthusiastically show me all the best views along the way and share with me the local history and culture. We do not have a porter - Saroz is very attentive to my body condition & physical abilities and would adjust my schedule daily accordingly. I recommend anyone to get in touch with Overland Trek Nepal to discuss if you have a trip in mind yet still have concerns. They can help you to achieve that goal :)Written September 30, 2024
- fernandogQ1756AO0 contributionsA Memorable Journey with Overland Trek NepalWe had an incredible experience with Overland Trek Nepal during our recent trip. We spent 4 days in Kathmandu and 2 days in Pokhara, and everything was perfectly organized. Our guide in Kathmandu, Deepak, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure we got the most out of our time in the city. The transportation was also top-notch, with a new car and a professional driver who ensured a comfortable journey. The guides were well-informed and shared insightful recommendations that enhanced our experience. They followed our planned itinerary meticulously and were always proactive in offering support whenever needed. Overall, we had a fantastic time, thanks to the team's professionalism and dedication. We highly recommend Overland Trek Nepal for anyone looking to explore Nepal with expert guidance!Written September 2, 2024
- 213odinc0 contributionsExcellent experienceThis company made all the necessary arrangements from airport pick up to drop. - 36gurut0 contributionsSuperb !I went on Everest Base Camp via Renjola and Chola Pass trek with Lopsang from Overland Trek Nepal by April 2023 for 22 days. It was one of the best organised trek that I have been ever. There were no internal flights from Kathmandu to Lukla eventhou Mr. Gautam has arranged without any problems; I have seen that he has really good connection with airline because my luggage was over lode around 12kg when airline staff asked me to pay, I have called to Gautam and he had talked with them then didn’t charge me any cost. While I started my trip, I was alone in the group so every care was taken by the guides to make me comfortable. I always had a room to myself as there was no one left from same gender in the group to share one with me. This was very good as I have heard some organised companies do not offer single person supplement at all. The lodges we stayed at were generally nice except for that at higher altitudes. The food was good and we had plenty of time to acclimatise. The guides – Lopsang, Ram were very good and helpful. They were very keen to tell us about the Sherpa culture and there knowledge about the wildlife and peaks/mountains was enviable. We had 2 guides and 6 porters between 12 of us so no one felt not being looked after. It was a great trip and though more than a month has passed, the memories still bring a smile on my face. Overall it was a great trip and I highly recommend Overland Trek Nepal specially if you are like me who travels solo often. They are very accommodating. Yes, you have to pay single supplement but at least you have that option unlike a number of other tour companies.Written December 26, 2023
- Sandesh D0 contributionsexcellent tripI recently embarked on a life-changing journey to the Everest Base Camp, and my experience was made even more memorable by the exceptional professionalism and kindness of my guides Lakpa Sherpa. This trip was organized by the Overland Trek Nepal. This trip was very well organized. We were set up with guides and porters who were very experienced, helpful, and trustworthy. Overland Trek Nepal has an amazing Team well management salute you guys. The guides kept an excellent pace during the hike. They showed concern for our health and safety. They went out of their way to provide help. Their unwavering dedication to ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the trek was truly commendable. Lakpa extensive knowledge of the terrain and Pemba warm and caring demeanor made the trek a joyous and fulfilling adventure. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making us feel supported and motivated every step of the way. I am immensely grateful for their expertise and kindness, which elevated my Everest Base Camp trek to an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much Mr. Gautam you have an amazing team keep it up. - Roving4788770 contributionsGreat experienceI would like to take this opportunity to thank Overland Trek NepalPvt. Ltd for the memorable trip to Everest Base camp Trek. Tenjing was our guide and he showed his professionalism while trekking with him. From the moment we landed at the accommodation to changing currency, everything was taken care of. During the trek, he provided the fruit every day after Dinner, then I notice he carried the quantity of fruit all the way along the trek. Every meal was well taken care of, hot showers end of the day, never fail. He was very patient with our slow pace, along the way he still picks some fruits for us to try, it was delicious. The most unforgettable experience was, he was experts in rolling leeches….hahaha which crawled everywhere from neck to boots. It was of great help. It’s was a lifetime experience and would look forward to trekking with him again. Thank you so much Overland Trek Nepal Team. Highly recommendedWritten December 16, 2023
