We trekked in The Himalaya to celebrate our 60th birthdays. We choose Trekking Trails as they were a Nepalese company based in Katmandu and were responsive to our enquiries. We trekked Manaslu, it was fantastic and challenging and lived upto our expectations. Our guide Hari was supportive and entertaining whilst Shiva our porter was strong and shy. We revised our itinerary after Manaslu, choosing not to continue with the Annapurna trail. We drove to Pokhara, staying at The Temple Tree Hotel then a flight on to Chitwan to experience a walking jungle safari, staying at Travellers Jungle Lodge, Sauraha. Trekking trails were very efficient and personable. They accommodated our needs and adapted to our varying plans. Each driver and guide they recommended was professional and pleasant. We have experienced a memorable trip for a significant birthday.

We have done 5-days ABC trek. An unforgettable journey: challenging yet joyful. Over five days, we traversed snowy mountains, encountering breathtaking scenery with thousands of peaks shrouded in deep clouds. In the wilderness, we faced the wind and endless clouds, basking in the unfettered sunshine and the promise of growth. Walking hand in hand, showing kindness and perseverance, we witnessed each other's struggles and moments of embarrassment. Thanks to Trekking Trail for giving us a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Lokendra, was amazing and very helpful, providing lots of care and love. The porters were very friendly and supportive, doing an excellent job. Without their guidance throughout the journey, we wouldn’t have had such a wonderful experience.

What a great trip! Right from the start I was glad we selected Trekking Trail as our guide. Every question we sent was promptly answered (and I had many) prior to our arrival in Nepal. Once we arrived the operations director was flexible on when we met and even helped us getting a local sim card. Once we arrived in Pokhara our guide Lokendra and our porter Jayendra met us and provided us what we needed to start our trek the next morning. On the trail we were joined by another porter (Bikash) and 2 more trekkers. We would be a group of 7 for the next 5 days. The trek was definitely challenging for me but absolutely doable and our guide and porters were helpful and patient. They were also fun and easy to chat with. Everything along the trail was well planned leaving me with nothing to do but focus on the trek and enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas. Annapurna base camp is unforgettable. The mountains will take your breath away. The journey will challenge you but the jungle, waterfalls, rivers and mountains will keep you moving and the destination is worth the effort. The team at Trekking Trail Nepal provided the best service that made for an incredible experience. From Madhev, the Operations director, our guide Lokendra, porters Jayendra and Bikash to the driver who safely got us to and from the start of the trek, everything went very smooth and we felt very well taken care of. I would absolutely do another trek with this company again and highly recommend using them if you are looking for a reputable trekking company to work with. Annapurna Base Camp and being able to see the Himalayas was a dream come true for me and I couldn't have asked for a better team to help make that happen.

We had a memorable journey with Apar’s team! The accommodation was nicely arranged with great view and large variety of food options. Most importantly, the guide is super nice and experienced - he knows the route very well and gave us lots of encouragement along the way. We were able to see the sunrise and sunset, what an amazing way to celebrate our Christmas 🎄 Lots of fun!!

Our 8 day trip to Nepal, organized by Trekking Trail Nepal was wonderful. The itinerary, the tours, and hotel suggestions were top notch. All communications from the begining of our planning was smooth and very timely. Our tour guide, Sumeet was a treasure. He was very knowledgable and was super accommodating. We changed plans and had new requests throughout the trip and he welcomed every change and exceeded our expectations throughout our trip. Mr Madhav, who managed out trip from the home office was always available. and was very helpful and on top of things. I recommend this travel company without any hesitation.

We have just returned from the Anapurna Circuit trek. It was a fantastic experience from the very first contact till the very end. Apar was answering all our questions in detail ( and believe me, we had a lot!). The information he gave helped us choose a trek which suited our needs and we were free to adjust it on the way. We had a wonderful 11 days trek with our guide Ganesh, who was knowlegable, reliable and just great. We are experienced travellers and normally organize everything on our own. However i must admit it was nice not to think about organizing anything on the way as the trek is challenging enough. Thanks to Ganesh and Laxman, our porter, we have seen a lot of local life. This was my second trek with Trekking Trails and I had a brilliant experience on both treks. The Manaslu Circuit proved to be a challenging trek with several long days and lots of uphill and downhill sections but the rewards and the views were well worth the effort. Our guide Lokendra and our porter Jayendra looked after us very well - Lokendra used his extensive experience of the mountains to ensure that we were fully fit and acclimatised to the altitude before we crossed the Larke pass and was always on hand to answer our many questions and to offer very good advice. We always arrived at out destination for the day in good time and as we got higher up and the days walk was shorter we often did an extra acclimatisation walk to explore the village that we had arrived at and to ascend to Manaslu base camp on our rest day. By choice we ate Dahl Bat most days which was always good and helped to give us enough energy for the long days of walking - we did vary this a few times and the food was always good. Jayendra was always there to greet us with a smile along the way and with our room keys when we arrived at our destination for the day. Both Lokendra and Jayendra were always there for us and became our friends - our little group of 2 people became a group of 4 people and it was like we were all enjoying the trek and walking in and enjoying the beautiful mountains together. We also enjoyed a great sightseeing day in Kathmandu with our guide Keesha who was good company and easy to be with and answered all of our many questions. I would highly recommend Trekking Trails - Apar and the team have taken good care of us all the way from our initial enquiry and arrival in Kathmandu through the sightseeing day and a fantastic trek to our final farewell supper.
