          Mountains and temples
I did a group tour of Kathmandu, Panauti, Bandipur and Pokhara led by our amazing guide Puskar. He made the experience. Puskar is exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, very attentive, hilarious and great fun to be around (with some great dad jokes!). He was a brilliant ambassador for Nepal. The trip was carefully planned and had everything - beautiful treks, trying local cuisine, looking at historic temples, dancing and staying with local families. Thank you Puskar for being so incredible - I will never forget my trip!

lovely area but hard to reach
"Together with my husband we went to Rara Lake. A very remote, but very beautiful and not too high region (max. 4000 m), pretty much in the west of Nepal. Already the journey with "local busses" takes 3 full days. So we would recommend to fly as near as possible. English is almost not longer spoken and you nearly don´t meet other tourists. Therefore, we were more than happy about our guide Deepak, who did everything in his power to make our travel as "comfortable" as possible, always found appropriate solutions for minor or major "problems" and of course during the trek not only knew the way, but also perfectly managed the communication in the homestays. Therefore, thank you again and whenever the next Nepal trip will be, only with Deepak again."

We had the best guide ever.
We were a group of 6 people and with our guide Deepak we did the 3 passes trek to EBC and Kala Patar. Not only the landscape is overwhelming, also Deepak did everything to make the trip an unforgettable event. We got every possible support from him, not only in form of advice, but also in form of active help when the load was too heavy, the way too far, or the altitude too high. Simply brilliant. Whenever I come back to Nepal, I will request Deepak as a guide again.

          Excellent staff
Used for a UK School Group for a mixed trip including a Poon Hill Trek and was really impressed with the level of service and staff supplied. Everything ran on time and the RMT team bonded well with my group. Highly recommended.

Great team, reasonable pricing, superb organisation!
I did Ghorepani Poon Hill trek in December 2018, and everything - from advanced communications, to confirmations, sorting out permits and the trekking experience was superb. The guide Shishir Poudya was knowledgeable, diligent, and attentive - as a result, it was fun and memorable trip. A special thank you for the driver that was provided by RMT - an 8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Napuyal was safe and enjoyable! I would happily recommend RMT for Nepal trekking.

          Thank you very much, Thakur
While planning my journey to Nepal, I also decided to take the advantage of visiting Tibet, so I took the Lonely Planet guide, I checked what travel agencies they listed and I contacted them. However, only Mr Thakur Khanal from Royal Mountain Trekking and another agency responded. And due to the fact that I was looking for joining a group instead of travelling alone, I ended up relying on RMT because they were the only ones who also offered this. I was certainly lucky because the 8 days/7 nights tour to Tibet was very well organized, very exciting and interesting, and totally free of stress. I met and joined 7 more people at Kathmandu's airport with whom I travelled and made up a good team. We flew to Lhasa with Air China and visited Tibet's capital the first evening and the following two days, then we drove to Shigatse via Gyantse and some beautiful Tibetan landscapes with high passes, lakes and mountains. The day after we continued to Rongbuk from where we reached the Everst Base Camp the next morning. Then we returned to Shigatshe to sleep one more night, and we spent another day driving back to Lhasa where we spent our last afternoon and evening before flying back to Kathmandu the last day. Back in Nepal, I met again Mr Thakur Khanal, the travel agency's managing director, to thank him for the organization of the tour. Their office is found on the third floor of a hidden building in Durbar Marg, a wide commercial avenue not far away from Thamel which is the district where many tourists stay in and where, by the way, Mr Khanal owns a nice boutique hotel called Apsara. As said, the tour to Tibet was very well organized. However, what impressed me the most was Mr Khanal's professionalism, kindness and honesty. And together with his staff, they are -from my point of view and experience- a very reliable travel agency.

          Awesome Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking
I did Ghorepani Poon Hill with Royal Mountain Trekking and it was awesome. I along with the group of 10 people did Poon Hill Trek and we completed it in less than one months. Our tour guide was exceptionally good and very friendly. All the places where we stayed was really comfortable.

We have had a great first trekking experience trekking to the mahara hill! Despite the fact that the views were clouded, we had a great time! Another big thank you to our amazing guide Yuvi, who managed to give us a lot of trivia about the Nepali culture, language but also left a lot of room for enjoying everything! He formed a never seen duo with our porter Man, who might just be the most positive and friendly person who we have ever met! Should you think of doing this trek, be sure to ask for Yuvi and Man, mero pyarro sathi! And maybe choose another month than March, because of the fog.
