We had the best day rafting Bhotekoshi! The drive from Kathmandu is around 2.5 hours and the roads aren't great - but it is worth the travel and part of the adventure. Our trip was out of main tourist season so they filled the boat with staff to make sure we didn't miss out - it was such a thoughtful thing to do and we had a great time with everyone! The rafting wad good with some great rapid areas and the chance for white water swimming! Food is provided before and after - and is delicious! Brilliant experience - definitely recommend for both new and experienced rafters.

Great cooking class to introduce Nepali food! The cooking class takes place in a clean kitchen with a professional chef so you get a great experience. We had a small group (3 people) and there was the option tobl be as hands on or hands off as you wanted. If you want to be very involved, I would recommend you make that clear so you don't feel like you miss out. There was so much food! You make 3 dishes which as all meals in their own right, so come hungry! Highly recommended.

We opted private transportation which was a great decision as most of the roads are under construction. All transfers were comfortable. Rafting was worthy! Amazing experience at River. Food was delicious too. We enjoyed a lot.

Great day trip from Kathmandu and a little bit different to the other tours available. You get to see the amazing Monkey Temple while also experiencing the less tourist area of Kirtipur...couldn't recommend higher! Our guide and driver were great, the lunch was very tasty and we got to try some local spirits and beers which was an added bonus. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu!

Trek is Truly Awesome!! The sunrise over the mountains was lovely, hike to Changu Narayan was wonderful and the visit to the ancient temple was a great experience. Driver was very skillful, you must have a good driver in Kathmandu and guide Umesh was nice, helpful. our journey was really memorable. Worthy! Recommended!!

Full Day Private Tour - Kathmandu UNESCO Heritage Sites. It was a lovely day as I had an English speaking Guide and a driver who looked after me well. It was nice to go from one place to another in an air-conditioned car. The Guide was attentive and gave lots of interesting information about the different sites. I saw the Living Goddess only because the Guide knew the timings. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and recommend you contact Shepherd Holidays directly as they have lots of Activity trips to offer. I had a beautiful experience on the Nagarkot Changunarayan Hike. Despite it being the monsoon season, I wasn't expecting to see the Himalayas, but I was incredibly lucky to get clear views of many peaks today. The scenery was breathtaking, and the hike itself was peaceful and rejuvenating. My guide was very helpful and knowledgeable, sharing insights that made the hike even more meaningful. I highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for a rewarding and scenic adventure.

Kathmandu is crowded and busy, but has amazing sites. This tour was terrific - I recommend going over the weekend when there’s less traffic.
