We had been planning this trip for 3 years and were finally able to realise this dream with family and friends in march 2023. Ajaya was perfect all along the way ! He helped us plan a trek according to our wishes (not too touristic, alpine and pretty sportive) and tried his best to please us at all time. We had a great time in the moutains with him, always felt safe, confident and learned so much about nepali culture. Special thank also to umish our super porter (soon trekking guide). I had a wonderful time on my trek! :) While planning they made sure, I will get to see everything I want and on the trek my guide was very considerate of my needs. He brought fruits to eat on the trek and made sure I had the best possible experience. Also he observed the weather and informed me about the risk due to the heavy rain (avalanches) and we decided together what different route would be best. Also as I wanted to change some of my schedule he was very flexible and made sure I got to see the places I wanted. Thank you for this experience!

Did the Manaslu trek end of march 2023 with Ajaya, we were a group of 4. We had a great experience ! Ajaya is an honest, friendly, highly reliable guide who took great care of us, flexible who adapts to the needs of the group. He had good knowledge of the places we visited and explained lots about Nepal and the Himalayas. Great chatting, Ajaya is also quite funny and always in a good mood ! The process of acclimation went great and took the time necessary.

We had a great experience in our few days stay in Nepal. We went to Nagarkot and experienced the beautiful sunrise and trek down the mountain. Glad we came to Rainbow Mountain Treks who planned our trip to Nagarkot and quoted us a reasonably. We had an awesome guide for this tour, Ajaya, who made sure we enjoyed our trip. He is knowledgeable and even after our Nagarkot trip, he accompanied us to Monkey Temple and made suggestions where we should go to enjoy Kathmandu. We are thankful that we meet him and his family who assisted us. I definitely recommend them.

I saw an incredible views and got to know new culture. Everything was excellent, I enjoyed it and the food was delicious :)

We had the luck to be presented to Ajaya by a friend of ours, that has also done trekkings with Ajaya before and was really happy with him and his company. We went on a Trekking for 6 days and were accompanied by Ajaya, his son Pranish who, like his father, had so much knowledge and was always happy to share it with us and our very funny and truly amazing porter Kalyan. In only six days we have seen so much, the landscape in the nepali mountains is truly breathtaking! But not only did he show us the mountains and the landscape but also made us familiar with nepali culture and was always exited to show us “the real Nepal”. Ajaya and his crew always had something to tell and learn us about their culture, it was their priority to show us how real nepali live is and by little things like making us taste local fruits or singing nepali songs, we gained lots of knowledge. Not only could we enjoy the trekking during the day but also in the evening, playing nepali card games with Ajaya and his crew for hours that me and my family enjoyed very much. After the six days of trekking, Ajaya invited us to visit his family and we had the chance of getting to meet amazing people and enjoy festival time at it’s realest. Because of all that I can warmly recommend Ajaya’s company that has given us so much and was always perfectly organised. He gave us the possibility to see a part of nepal wich is real and lovely. We felt save all the time and i can recommend this agency warmly. Everything was organized very well,cars,driver,permits,lodges. Our trip: kathmandu,pokhara to najapul by car,trekking from biretandi,thikedunga,ghorepani,poon hill,tadapani,gandruk,biretandi. After we reached pokhara by car and visited Ajayas family in chitwan.Two weeks we will never forget and we came back to switzerland with our hearts enriched.

The trip was great and really enjoyed it.. Manish and the car driver Ganesh made sure that we were comfortable as we were traveling with a small child. Will definitely like to recommend their services.

The best thing on the 3 day safari? Six female elephants with their young ones, all about a month or so old. Mustang is like a desert in the midst of Nepali forests - it is beyond description and I'll never forget it.

I had the pleasure to meet Ajaya in Kathmandu and he was a great help organising my stay in the city, including airport transfers and help with securing great accommodation. Ajaya and his staff are super friendly, informative and professional. I will return later in the year and travel with Himalaya Thunder to Tibet where Ajaya will guide my group, provide all the permits, accommodation, pickups etc, full service. If you are looking for a great guiding company for Nepal, India and the Himalayas look no further.

Ajaya was very helpful, he helped us get to Pokhara and to the airport. He was warm and friendly and advised us very well. We will return to Nepal and we will complete a trek with him.

Himalaya thunder trek gave my group and me the best possible tour on the Manaslu trek. We had a million questions to ask before we went and Ajaya was able to answer all of them. We felt safe both before and during the trek, especially with the exceptional guide Krishna, who knew most of the ins and outs of the mountain, though if he didn´t know, he had the decency to tell us that. We were able to explore parts of the Himalaya I would never think I would and we spent the nights in mostly tourist free tea houses. I got into touch with Ajaya via my aunt and uncle who met him 10 years ago and did a trek with him. Ajaya helped me with everything, got me from A to B, arranged my stay and safari in Chitwan National Park and I even was invited to lunch Dal Bhat with his family. A true trekker guide, with a lot of patience and experience!

Ajaya organized our trip to Manaslu very good. He gave us all the information and organized the permits (even before we gave him the money for it). He helped us with all our confusion about several things. After the trek he invited us to his restaurant, where his family spend a nice evening with us. But mainly I have to thank his brother in law, Krishna! He was our guide an just perfect. He was honest, funny, but always serious when necessary. I felt save all the time with him. Even when we got a stormy day with a lot of snow, he made us go forward carefully step by step and finally we made it over the pass. What he did best was picking not the most common places for the night, but showed us more local ones. That gave us amazing views and a lot of contact to the local people. Thanks so much for the trip.
