      Annapurna Circuit Trek
(+) Our guide was Amrit and our porter, Pemba. They were absolutely exceptional at their jobs. Amrit clearly is a very experienced guide, he knew every step of the way, even if blindfolded. He was always easily available for inquiries, incredibly punctual and made sure we completed the trek safely. They have a very good high altitude acclimatization itinerary, including day treks to 3800m/ 4500m/ 5000m and going back to lower levels, so that you can ease into higher altitudes, diminishing chances of acute mountain sickness (AMS). Our bags always arrived at the tea houses before us. They've managed to transport my larger backpack, which I had left in Kathmandu, all the way to Pokhara, free of cost. This is a trek with a lot of infrastructure, so expect to have easily available food, hot shower, bed, toilets all the way. (-) During the first 3-4 days of the trek, you'll be walking on dusty roads about 70-80% of the time. Our first contact with Sherpa Expeditions and its owner, Ram, was really upsetting. He took us for a "trip meeting" in a dark room, where he explained our trekking plan in 10-15 minutes, clearly rushed, looking at a computer doing something else. It just felt like he wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. By the end of it, we had a lot of doubts, Ram definitely couldn't convey a sense of security. In our booked itinerary, on the last day, we were supposed to get a jeep from Ulleri Village, that would take us to Pokhara. Eventually, we discovered that Ram had instructed the guide to take us all the way to Nayapul and get the jeep from there, which meant walking extra 3-4 hours. Our guide told us that he hadn't received enough money for the Ulleri jeep. Things ended up working out, so thankfully we double-checked that. Overall: Communication with Ram is honestly very bad, he's careless and rude. Although they ask for +/- USD 1100 for the trek, you'll end up paying extra 400-500 USD on "hidden" costs. They make you feel responsible for paying decently the guide and porter, since most of the 1100 USD won't be going towards them. Besides that, the trekking itself and the work of the guide and porter was exceptional. Relevant Information: - 25.000 NPR per person is suggested for additional expenses (extra foods, soft drinks, hot shower) - You'll need to tip both the guide and the porter. The suggested amounts are USD 180 for the guide and USD 140 for the porter per person. We were really upset by this, because we hadn't planned on spending this much extra cash - We were able to charge our phones for free in all tea houses, except for the Tilicho Lake Base Camp, so make sure to bring a power bank - Hot shower costs between 150-200 NPR and is available in all tea houses, except for High Camp - They provide sleeping bags, hiking poles and down jackets for free - They suggest taking cramp-ons (our trek was in May) - All tea houses have proper beds and bathroom available, which can be inside or outside the room. There's no heating in any of the accomodations.

      Great tour and guide
Such an incredible experience. I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek and had the pleasure of being guided by Dawa Sherpa. He demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm that greatly enhanced the entire trekking experience. Daw had a good knowledge of the region. They provided fascinating insights into the local culture, history, and geography, making each day’s trek not just a physical journey but an educational one as well. Their ability to navigate the challenging terrain with ease and confidence made us feel safe and well-cared for throughout the trek. It was highly organized and efficient. From managing permits and accommodations to coordinating meals and transportation, everything ran smoothly.

      Himalayan Adventure
I have no hesitation in recommending the Sherpa Trekking and Expedition company. The help I received in planning and organising my trek with Ram was second to none. He replied promptly, courteously and helpfully to all my questions. My guide was Nima Ongdi Sherpa, and my porter was his younger brother Pasang. I was lucky and privileged to have these Sherpa brothers looking after me. Nima was concerned at all times for my safety and wellbeing. He paced the route and amended the plan to suit me. Because of his professional care, I acclimatised comfortably and I enjoyed every section of this beautiful and challenging trek. Pasang was always joyful and attentive. They were both marvellous company during the hikes and in the long, quiet evenings in the lodges. Sadly, at my age, this is probably my only Himalayan adventure, but if I do return I will choose this company and insist on having Nima and Pasang on my team! Su P.

      Lovely Langtang / Gosaikund experience
A trek for all levels of fitness. Fabulous scenery, steep, and gradual downs and ups and plenty of great views. Not busy either. Seemed like an almost perfect time of year to go. The schedule was very flexible so we were able to adapt things, including accommodations, appropriately as we went along. Plenty of highlights although Tserki Ri stands our for me, just on account of the 360 degree views from the stunning viewpoint. Guide Praveen was great. Always friendly, and as one might expect, very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble, and his service, and patience was impeccable. Chabbi, porter, was fun to be around too, and coped extremely well with our luggage, and any other requests we could throw at him! Both were a pleasure to spend time with. Ram set things up impeccably, and I wouldnt hesitate to arrange another trip through him and Sherpa. Thanks all.

      Langtang & ABC
I had the best time with my guide Ramesh! An absolute joy to walk with for 18 days through langtang and ABC. He is full of knowledge and experience. He knew the ins and outs of the routes and always picked the best places the stay! Entertaining and a real pleasure to have him guide me on a truely memorising journey! The company was also amazing providing me any equipment that was needed and willing to change itineraries if desired. Would highly recommend. I will be back!

Trek made enjoyable with excellent guide and porters!
We (a group of 4 ladies) have just completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with our guide Dawa Sherpa and porters Kedar and Hari and they have been an excellent crew throughout the trek! The enthusiasm, support and fun they brought kept us going and made this trip a really memorable and enjoyable one! We would definitely recommend this tour agency and especially these 3 members to anyone interested in the trek. Also thanks to Ram who addressed our queries promptly before we embarked on our journey.

      Amazing experience with Dawa Sherpa!
Pikey Peak Trek was an amazing experience! I highly recommend to anybody who has limited time for trekking and wants to see all the eight thousand giants in Himalayas from one peak. Our guide was Dawa Sherpa and he was the best guide in the world taking care of us was we all could reach the summit and get the best of the trek. He was always cheerful, helpful and handled perfectly any situation that emerged, professional in every inch so if you are planning any trek with this company, just ask for him to be your guide and you will reach your destination for sure. Dawa, thank you so much!

Amazing Experience - Lakpa Sherpa is the Best!
I did the Everest Base Camp trek from April 10 - 21 and had the greatest time. We were in a group of 5 and had no issues. We flew in by helicopter which Sherpa coordinated for us. Each day was a fantastic trek, made better by our guide Lakpa Sherpa and all the porters. He was very knowledgeable about the mountains, Sherpa culture, and focused on safety. Nobody in our group had big issues with altitude. Our oxygen was checked each night and we took time to acclimatize. Each day we had good food and adequate lodging. Lakpa helped us pace the trek so we never got too exhausted and stayed excited throughout. I highly recommend this experience.

EBC with Sherpa Trekking and Lakpa A+++
Went on EBC trek with Sherpa expeditions and had the trip of a life time. Our guide (Lakpa Sherpa) and his team of porters were the best guides I have ever had... and I have been on a lot of these types of trips -- Nepal is my 55th country. Lakpa is insanely knowledgeable and caring and always puts your experience and safety first. I felt like royalty during the whole trip! Lakpa and the team are some of the best and most hardworking people I have ever met. It is hard to describe how much these guys hustle and how incredible they are! You just have to go for yourself to see!

      Best experience
The most amazing experience of my life. Would not do this trek with any other company. Ram in the head office was always quick in response to my many questions prior to arriving in Nepal. Everything was organised well once I was over there - from airport pick up and drop off, to the trek itself. I had guide Santa, and our Porter Galje. 2 of the most amazing people in Nepal. Extremely friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable in culture and history of the area, and were always focussed on safety to ensure I could complete the trek in the 9 days. Brilliant guide and porter. If you are considering this company, I would highly recommend, and make sure you get Santa as your guide.

      The Perfect Trekking Adventure
This trip was incredible. The Sherpa Expedition team had everything handled from start to finish, including lodging in Kathmandu and on the trek, as well as three meals per day. Ngawang Wangchhu Sherpa was our guide and he made the whole trek an incredible experience in every way.

      FANTASTIC MANASLU CIRCUIT EXPERIENCE
We have just come back from a ten day trek on the Manaslu Circuit with Sherpa Expedition & Trekking. Wow - what an amazing experience. My husband, my daughter and I were extremely fortunate to have Dawa Sherpa as our guide. Dawa was the absolute professional who always had our safety and comfort in mind. We were very well looked after and Dawa is a delightful trekking companion with excellent local knowledge. Our porters Hari and Kedar were also great company and couldn’t do enough to help us on the trek. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience - thank you Sherpa Expedition & Trekking

We were a group of 3 friends and wanted to trek several peaks, not only the EBC and the managers and the guides were so amazingly flexible and willing to provide us best experience that we tailored the route and scheduled to climb also Gokyo Ri through Chola pass. We got all the beautiful views and at the same time the guide was very attentive as to our physical conditions making sure we made it all steady and healthy. Many thanks to the guide, the manager and the porters, wishing them more nice hikers to accompany during the great adventures in Nepal.

Sherpa trekking was a very professional company. From the booking all the way to the departure. Ram was a very professional coordinator. He ensured I could fly to Lukla by helicopter when planes could not fly due to weather conditions. My chauffeur Som in Kathmandu was always on time to drive me to and from the airport. My Kathmandu city tour guide Shankar was also excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the sites. He even bought me a second lunch when i couldn't finish my food which turned out to be too spicy for me. :) My sherpa Wangchhu was excellent. Very funny and energetic guy with who spending two weeks trekking was a pleasure. He takes good care of his clients. I will definitely book another trip with Sherpa expedition and trekking in the future. As a solo female traveller I felt completly safe and comfortable during my entire trip to Nepal with them. Would highly recommend them to everybody.

My friend and I had a great experience with Sherpa expedition and trekking. We initially booked following an informed discussion with Ram, who manages the head office and is very knowledgeable / able to provide answers to all questions.

Our trek was led by Gombu Sherpa and assisted by Nima who managed our bags. The entire trip from start to finish was well managed and organised by Gombu. Even on our hike of island peak his expert knowledge allowed us to summit even with limited climbing and ropes experience.

Would definitely recommend the company and if we come back to Nepal in the future we will book with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking.

Everest base camp trek is challenging in more ways than one but it's worth every hard moment for the highs! Not only of completing it but of being in company of the porters and guide: Wangchhu. He was so calm, reassuring, patient and knowledgeable and we felt safe in his hands. His energy meant we connected with him in such a beautiful way and his own personal life story that he shared stole our hearts.

The teahouses we stayed in were surprisingly nice considering how high up you are and we always had decent food and drinks available. The company provided bags, sticks, sleeping bags and duffle coats that were all good quality.

Don't overthink it just book - and you will be very lucky and grateful if you do it with Wangchhu as your guide!

Overall, I had a very positive experience. I appreciated the availability of Ram. My guide, Pasang, was attentive and supportive. One of the problems I had was that the only way to make our trek on time was to take a helicopter, which costed an extra $250.

From the start Ram was on the ball. He got back to me with every question. I flew in to Nepal, pick up was easy and I was taken straight to my hotel. A dinner was provided and entertainment.

On the trip I had a wonderful sherpa. Daiwa took good care of me with High Altitude Sickness and all ran smoothly.

All in all I can recommend them but make sure you book a 15 day trip as I had booked the 10 day and you will Never complete it in that time frame unless you are used to altitude .

Embarking on a 15-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Sherpa Expeditions & Trekking was nothing short of magical, made unforgettable by our guide, Buddha. From the moment we set foot in Lukla, it was evident that Buddha wasn't just any guide; he was a walking encyclopedia, deeply rooted in the heritage and history of every village we passed. With every step, whether we treaded the bustling paths of Namche Bazaar or the serene trails near Dingboche, Buddha enriched our journey with tales, traditions, and trivia of the places we encountered.

His expertise went beyond just knowledge. He was the pillar of support we didn’t know we needed, especially during those physically demanding stretches. Buddha's unyielding patience and encouragement made the challenging ascents feel conquerable and the entire journey more comfortable.

I wholeheartedly recommend this trek with Sherpa Expeditions & Trekking, especially if you have the chance to walk alongside Buddha. His combination of expertise, local insights, and genuine care ensured that our adventure was not just a trek but a deep dive into the heart of the Himalayas.

The best experience of my life with the best guide ever! From the very start this tour group helped us get everything we needed in Thamel, and it was such an easy process. Lapka our guide was incredible and so knowledgeable on all the questions we threw at him. Although being nervous about altitude sickness as never been at such a high altitude, all our group made it to base camp without any issues! Lapka set a really good pace and encouraged us to take our time and take rests when we needed. Felt like we could completely trust his advice, especially when we had moments of not feeling great, he was always so confident in us. The most incredible views I have ever seen ! The route is incredible, going through local communities, over bridges, glaciers ! Would highly recommend this tour group! Thank you so much
