Shiva Excursions is the best trekking company in Nepal. I have gone on multiple trips with them including Langtang, Chitwan, and Annapurna Circuit. The guides are much more professional than at other companies, and you can expect clear hassle-free communication. I have always felt safe and cared for on my trips. Additionally the guides are knowledgeable and can help you build skills for more advanced mountaineering. I always travel with Sudip Adhikari as my guide, and we have become great friends. The experience you get trekking in Nepal is life-changing. You can see glaciers, ancient villages and gompa (monastery), talk with locals and learn about Nepalese mountain culture. My personal favorite trek in Langtang, as it is quite close to Kathmandu and offers stunning views of the mountains and glaciers. On the last trek to Langtang, Sudip took us up to Langtang Lirung basecamp. We were able to observe hundreds of waterfalls pouring off the glacier, and yaks in the alpine meadow.

My recent Nepal trip, organized by the tour agency, was flawless. From Kathmandu’s ancient temples to Chitwan’s wildlife safaris, Pokhara’s lakes and Everest's trekking, every moment was expertly planned. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip! The experience was so great that it felt like three trips in one, as it was split into three totally different parts. The first part was in Kathmandu, the second was a four-day trek, and the third was exploring the Chitwan jungle. I can't choose my favorite part. The Shiva Excursion Team was wonderful—gentle, funny, and always there for us. We laughed, danced, walked, and shared nights by both indoor and outdoor fireplaces. MERA PEAK experience: I have been in Nepal several times before (like i was in EBC 3 months ago) and definitely Shiva Excursion IS THE MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED among all the others companies that i know in Nepal. The professionalism of the Guide - Ai Singh (experienced in First Medical Aid - is not a luxury , is a need!) and the experience of the porter -Sante (that knows all the smalls trails and network of all the places that we passed) makes me comfortable during all period together. Meanwhile Arjun from Kathmandu was monitoring all the steps to guarantee our safety and our comfort. Many other companies in Nepal want to profit and safe their budged to put clients in uncomfortable tea houses BUT I had great experience to stay at the best tea houses, eating VERY well NOT WORRIED to have hot drinks at the tea houses all the time to keep me hydrated. WAS IMPRESSIVE experience, among all the other experiences i had in Nepal, DEFINITELY SHIVA excursion is the best option without doubts. Was a good experience with Shiva excursion. Arjun , who run the company himself came and made all arrangement perfectly. The guide he provide Aising is a very great , funny and caring person. I was down with Ams and he helped me get to doc and arrange all the coordination pretty well. The only point to improve is the tea houses they picked up could have been better but overall I am happy with the arrangement. They tried their best to arrange flight in lukla when it was chaos around due to one day delay as weather condition didn’t allow any flight to take off. This month i traveled to nepal with friends during the trip shiva excursion took care of us, helped us with anything we needed. Everyone was kind to us and made us feel comfortable. The whole experience was really good. I hope in the future to be able to make such a trip from Europe again and I would definitely choose the same group again.
