Annapurna trek in the Nar Phu valley
I have been with Annapurna Foothill Trek for a 22 days, within an Italian group of 8 people. Our route was an alternative to the classic Annapurna trek. We went along the Nar-Phu valley, we passed the Kang La and then Lake Tilicho before tackling the Thorung La. All in all it has been a fantastic experience, with an outstanding service from Annapurna Foothill Trek. Ngima was our guide and has been always very professional and carefull. They took us from our arrival at the airport until our departure . Finally we visited Kathmandu with a city guide from Annapurna Foothill and even in this case the organization was perfect and the visits to the different locations were fantastic. I would reccomend Annapurna Foothill Trek for everyone would want to visit Nepal for trekking or mountaineering and also if you want to visit Kathmandu only. Thanks Ngima !

      Mera Peak, Amphu Labsta Pass
We had simple an amazing time in Nepal thanks the team of Annapurna foothills. Ngima was extremely helpful in planning our personalized itenerary in the Everest region where we made a round over Mera Peak, Amphu Labsta Pass, Everest Basecamp and Cho Lo Pass. Dendi Sherpa was a perfect guide, both fun and supportive. If it was not for him we would not have stood on Mera Peak. After seeing the rockfall on Island Peak we decided to change itenerary, which was arranged very smoothly by the Annapurna foothills staff.

      Highly recommended!!
Did the 3 peak (Mera, Island and Lobuche East) climb with Annapurna Foothills. Everything was very well organised. Ngima and Dawa were always very fast with answering questions beforehand and once in Nepal everything was taken care of. From transfers to gear checking and much more. Because we had bad weather when trying to fly to Lukla (people were stuck for 3 days), Dawa quickly arranged other means of (adventurous) transport so we wouldn't miss the start of our tour. Once we met up with our porters and guides, the real adventure began. Our climbing guide Mingmar and Dawa arranged everything during the trek (Mingmar even baked a birthday cake!) and our porters were more than amazing! The porters are not allowed to carry too much weight (15kg per guest) and were handed warm clothes, socks and boots before the trek. All of them made sure we had the best possible experience in Nepal. Still don't know how Mingmar got me up all 3 mountains :-). It was an absolutely beautiful trek with remote valleys, stunning views and absolutely lovely people. Would definitely recommend Annapurna Foothills for any of your trips to Nepal!! Ngima, Dawa, Mingmar and porters, thanks again for this amazing experience!

Best Nepal experience I could imagine...
I spend almost two months in Nepal in 2023. I Booked two trips with Annapurna Foothills, I spend a week in the Langtang Valley and did the Three Peaks trek in the Everest Region. Both the trips were great, beautiful scenary, great guides and porters, everything perfectly arranged. But Annapurna Foothills did so much more. I can honestly say that from the day I landed until the day I left they took care of me. Arranging pick-ups from the airport, booking bustickets and domestic flights, arranging my trip to Chitwan etc etc. Nigma is wife Tenzin and Dawa are the most lovely people you can imagine, I am so happy I met them and I learned so much from them about Nepal and Nepali culture. So if you are thinking about taking a trip to Nepal don't hesitate to book with them!

Baruntse 2023 - hard and beatuful
0n 05-Nov-2023 me and my guide, Ngawa Sherpa, summited Baruntse (7129 - 7159 m, depends from a source). I had known Annapurna_Foothills and the guide Ngawa from some earlier visits to Nepal and I knew I could trust them. As I travelled solo I adjusted a standard plan of Baruntse expedition to my needs (e.g. I didn't fly to Lukla but went by jeep to Bung for better acclimatization). The company was flexible and there was no problem to follow my programm. I can honestly recommend them. The path to the summit was really difficult but worth of the struggle. And the assistance of my guide, Ngawa, was extraordinary. Andrzej (Poland)

      Wonderful Experience
The trek was well-planned and we had sufficient time to acclimatise to the altitude. Ngima and his team were very attentive and patient to our needs and we felt very well taken care of. I am an amateur trekker but the trek was manageable for me physically. The scenery, including dreamy forests, rolling hills, terraces and giant snow capped mountains, was gorgeous! Overall a wonderful experience.

      Great experience with Annapurna Foothills!
We had a great time doing the ABC trek with Annapurna Foothills! I must say the guides took care of us really well, both Nima and Mingma make sure that we are comfortable and our needs are met, especially this is a trip with teenagers. Other than the spectacular views at the base camp, the trek towards the base camp was nothing but a great experience. I will definitely engage Annapurna Foothills for future treks in Nepal!

Many reasons to visit Annapurna with Annapurna Foothills Trek
Nepal is a beautiful country and if you love the mountains and wish to see them for yourselves, Annapurna Foothills will ensure a fuss free trip for you and your friends, The guides are great and everyone works to make your stay comfortable and that your needs are addressed, The Annapurna Base Camp trek brings you up close to Annapurna I, 8091m and surrounded by majestic mountains. The duration is just right and altitude much easier to handle than the other famous treks. So give it a shot

      Mera Peak - October 2023
Had an amazing time climbing Mera Peak with Annapurna Foothills! They have done an amazing job helping me getting prepared for my trip from the very beginning, they have been super responsive and offer excellent customer service, from picking me up at the airport to helping me getting the rest of my gear in Kathmandu, to dropping me off at the airport. I had an amazing experience with my climbing guide Mingmar, he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and safe at all times. I highly recommend them, and if I ever come back to Nepal, I’ll definitely be using their services. Thanks team 🩵

      Great trekking experience
My wife and I did a trekking trip in Nepal last May, accompanied by our guide, Dawa. He's passion for the mountains of Nepal made us get along immediately, as we shared a common interest in climbing, and mountaineering. We enjoyed talking about the summits of the Himalayas, past adventures and future projects. As a guide, he's expertise in mountaineering was evident, skillfully leading us and adapting to the circumstances at all times, even changing accommodation when needed. Beyond his mountain expertise, Dawa's understanding of Nepal's politics, history and culture, made the trip also a cultural exchange. It was remarkable how Dawa and the company managed to arrange a second trek just two days in advance, starting the day after coming down from the Annapurna Base Camp trek. One aspect worth noting is the accommodation during the trek. While all the lodges we stayed at were generally good, one lacked some basics. However, we understand that it is part of the adventure of trekking in remote areas. In summary, Dawa provided the experience we were aiming for. We highly recommend Annapurna Foothills to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, personable, and like-minded guide for their adventure in Nepal.

      Everest Base Camp
Did the EBC hike with a friend and Tenzin (our guide). Was pleasantly surprised to learn that we had been assigned a female guide, something I appreciated since both my friend and I are females. Enjoyed the immensely picturesque views and slower leisurely pace of the hike. Lovely memories to look back on!

The Annapurna Circuit - The most magnificent trip of a lifetime!
Three years ago, on the recommendation of others, we booked to walk the Annapurna Circuit Trek with We chose them because of good reviews and very quick and positive repsonses from the company. As bad luck would have it, the whole trip was cancelled due to the Covid epidemic just two weeks before we were due to depart. Three years later we resurrected the trip and once again the positive responses from Ngima at the company gave us confidence that it was going to be a good experience. This wasn't just a good experience, it was an outstanding one. Every small detail of the trek was meticulously planned and this made our time in Nepal the trip of a lifetime. The advantage of using a smaller company like is the trip is bespoke and fitted our needs and requirements. We are in the older demographic for Himalayan trekking so we needed to ensure we were 'looked after'. We certainly were. We were welcomed at Kathmandu Airport after a long and exhausting flight and whisked to our comfortable hotel. The next day after a preparation meeting and welcome dinner we were ready for the trek. We were assigned a wonderful guide - Dawa Sherpa, an experienced and thoughtful person, along with a lovely young porter, also called Dawa. It was a dream team. Throughout the trek with it's beautiful views; expansive vistas and magnificent Himalayan mountains we were looked after like royalty. The accommodation was carefully chosen, the route was incredible and the intinerary ensured we were properly and safely acclimatised for the climax of the trip - the Thorong La pass, (at 5416 metres, the highest pass in the world). Make no mistake, the Thorong La pass is challenging due to its altitude but having completed its passage we had a huge sense of achievement. The trek is very varied both in scenery and climatic conditions - sub tropical farmland and forests; high altitude snow fields; rocky gorges and winding mountain tracks and paths with vertiginous drops. It is not for the faint hearted but it is a life affirming experience. Added to all this is the loveliness of the Nepalese people! We have no hesitation in recommendimg the trek and, in particular for organising our trip if a lifetime.

      Succesful ascent of Mera Peak
On 14. April 2023 I reached the summit of Mera Peak - at the age of 70. It has been one of the hardest and at the same time best mountain climbs of my life. The tour had been organized as a solo trip, so we were a group of three persons to approach the mountain (me, the climbing guide and the porter Bebek Raj). During the whole tour, I didn’t have any problems with high altitude sickness, due to a very smooth approach to higher altitudes and planned extra days for acclimatization. I am very grateful that Annapurna Foothills, led by Ngima Nuru Sherpa, has organized my trip in a quite excellent way. Ngima Nuru Sherpa proved to be a very reliable and correct organisator of this tour. The agency was also very flexible in making changes to the initial plan of itinerary according to my wishes (e.g. changing from a car drive back to Kathmandu to a helicopter flight from Lukla). One of the best experiences of this trip was to be accompanied by Mingma Dorjee Sherpa, who acted as my climbing guide. Mingma Dorjee is a very experienced climbing guide who has summited Mount Everest, Makalu, Himlung, Imja Tse and Mera Peak (16x) and others. And he is a very warm hearted and caring person. We had much fun walking and climbing together and talked a lot about our previous mountain climbing adventures. Additionally, Mingma Dorjee was extremely conscious about safety (and also carried a bottle of medical oxygene in order to be prepared for emergency cases). With Mingma Dorjee I had the best possible climbing partner, and we became real friends during this trip. I wish to thank all participating persons of the agency, and when I come back to Nepal I will certainly go again with the Annapurna Foothills Trekking and Expedition Agency. Manaslu Lake and Rara Lake
Revisited the Manaslu Circuit after 5 years: this time with my son, his first time in Nepal. It was quite an experience for him as there had been landslides following several days of rain the week before. This meant diversions and uncertainty about being able to go over the pass because it was closed for several days due to heavy snow. Our guide, Dawa, was wonderful and kept us informed with the changing circumstances and we successfully crossed the Larke La pass which was covered in snow and ice. It was tricky but we made it due to the experience, expertise and care of our guide. This was my second trek with Annapurna Foothills. After a short break in the lakeside town of Pokhara, I set off with my wife on a trek in the remote western area of Nepal to the revered Rara Lake, again with Annapurna Foothills. This in some respects was a pioneering trek of 8 days - again our guide’s experience proved invaluable in this most unusual, exciting and successful trek. Can’t recommend highly enough the thoroughness in the planning and care this company and staff afforded us. Throughout both treks the management kept in contact with our guide. My wife and I have trekked many times in Nepal over 20 years and our last expeditions with Annapurna Foothills have been the best. We are already planning another trek with them which speaks for itself.

      Pike Peak Trek
We are a group of 4 friends on a recent trip to Pike Peak. The trail is fairly new and therefore less travelled. It was one of our most enjoyable treks to Nepal although we have been there for other treks before. It is very scenic with many majestic snow-capped mountains and verdant valleys within sight. The terrain is challenging although altitude is just above 4000 metres high. Most teahouse amenities are very basic as this is a fairly new route just starting to welcome guests. We were guided by Annapurna Foothills Treks & Expedition Pvt Ltd, a reliable and established company under Ngima. Service of its experienced guides and porters were good and we will not hesitate to recommend them. Andrew,Hannah,Low and May Singapore Oct 2022

    Apr 2024 • Solo
I booked my first mountaineering experience with Annapurna Foothills, 26 days with 2 summits on the program (Mera peak and Island Peak). The expedition was perfectly organized, from the contact and discussion with Ngima to the goodbye at the end of the expedition with Dawa. The team has been reactivated to find emergency accommodation during flight cancellations to and from Lukla. Sherpa Ngawa took great care throughout the expedition to make this adventure an unforgettable experience.
A big thank you to the whole team for all this work.
