About
In contrast to conventional treks in Everest and Annapurna regions, the Manaslu trek is pristine and ideal for trekkers who prefer to navigate across picturesque terrains far away from the horde of other people. Specially designed to explore the serene beauty of Manaslu Region; our Manaslu Round Trekking makes its way around Mt. Manaslu, world’s 8th highest summit, which is greatly celebrated among the climbers’ community as one of the toughest mountains to conquer. In spite of increasing popularity following the establishment of teahouses in 2010; the trekking route which is indeed a remote and off-the-beaten-path flaunts all the featured of a paradigmatic trek in Nepal i.e. traditional monasteries, spell-binding countryside with snow-clad summits, and last but not the least, the dramatic crossing of high suspension bridges.

- 52stephaniek0 contributionsThese are the times you're glad you have an amazing guide! These are the times you're glad you have an amazing guide! I returned to Nepal in September to complete the Everest Base Camp trek with Himalayan Trekking Path. I also used this company last year to do the Annapurna Circuit and was so happy with their service. Ram made the process so easy for me and was really accommodating with my dates and wishes with getting an ensuite and offered me a helicopter back from Lukla instead of the less reliable flights. Everything was going very well for the first week and then right when we just started our last day up to base camp the weather started to change. We thankfully made it to base camp in the snow (amazing!) and then the next morning when we woke up the snow was getting deep. My guide Dendi knew that we had to get out and not get stuck there so we trekked for the next 2 days in the snow and rain back to Namche Bazar. There were points where I was unavoidably wet and cold and he made sure to help me dry all my gear and showed a lot of care and motivated me in the tough situation. The company was so happy to give me accommodation, Dendi and the porter for an extra 2 days. The wild weather can happen in the mountains and there were other people that had to abandon their trip to base camp or had to completely change the route they were planning on as the passes were closed and weren't passable. I definitely wouldn't have known what to do without a guide and having someone so capable that I trusted in that situation made all the difference. Once we got to Namche Bazar, Dendi made dozens and dozens of calls to try get me on a helicopter. There were so so many people waiting for days to try and get transport and it was so competitive to try and get a spot. It's not like a normal booking with a flight number and check in. You really needed someone to call in a favour to get you on there. Thankfully the next morning the weather was glorious and after much much effort Ram and Dendi were able to get me back to Kathmandu. It was still such an incredible trip. Overall most of the weather was still great and I got to see everything that I wanted to. Definitely so glad that I came back and absolutely glad that I used Himalayan Trekking Path!Written October 2, 2024
- 305ranjithv0 contributionsAmaizing experienceThis is my second EBC trio with Himalayan Treakking path. This time I did the treak with my 7year old daughter. The trio was well organized and our guide Guide Chandra was very knowledgeable and supportive. The professionalism of Mr. Ram is the sole reason for me to choose HTP for my second trip. I never approached any other operator and I don’t think of considering any other operator for my next trip. Planning to to Mera peak in 2025 and looking forward to do it with RAM’s team.Written October 2, 2024
- Journey7077780 contributionsMost incredible experience in Nepal! Best trek and sunrise to Poon HillWe had the most incredible time with Ramhari on the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. The trek experience was amazing, seeing the beautiful sunrise looking at Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The organisation of our trip was seamless by Himalayan Trekking Path and had such a personal touch. Great communication with us prior to the trip, keeping us updated as well as during the trip making sure our safety and well being was priority. Food and accomodation was exceptional! Thank you so much! Cannot recommend enough. We will be back for the bigger treks to experience.Written September 24, 2024
- jean patricio F0 contributionsMera peak tripMy trip with himalayan trekking path was really nice. I enjoyed every day of my trip. I did a trip of approximately 14 days for the mera peak climbing. At my arrival at kathmandu Airport, somebody was waiting for me. The next day, i visited kathmandu a beautiful city. After that, my adventure began , we flew to lukla with my guide than become my friend PD Sherpa. During the trekking adventure we saw beautiful landscape and visit some hotels at the end of each day. The food was good and the people was nice. At the arrival at our final destination Khare, we met the mountering guide Tempa Sherpa than bring us to the summit of Mera peak. The ascension took apprx 2 days and we did in 9h. We arrived to the top a 6 am and was the most beautiful vieuw i ever seen. I really recommend this trip with himalayan trekking pathWritten September 17, 2024
- saramO4128DJ0 contributionsPerfect experienceEvery element of the trip was perfect. Communication prior to meeting was great, I was met at the airport by the company and everything was taken care of. The accommodation throughout the trip was also good. My guide for the hike, Shiva, was thoughtful, professional and kind throughout the whole experience. I saw amazing views of Annapurna on our trek. Ram even invited me to his family home and cooked an amazing dinner on the last evening of the trip. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family and will definitely book in the future if I return to Nepal. Thank youWritten August 24, 2024
- ritagE4161XH0 contributionsAn awe-inspiring, unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience! We completed the Everest Base Camp Trekking tour (14 days/13 nights) in early June. We had Ram as our guide and Bikash as our porter. Ram is a friendly and accommodating guide, making us feel welcome when we arrived in Kathmandu, throughout the trek, and until we left. His knowledge of the region is amazing, providing us with lots of information about the history and culture of the Sherpa people, Nepali culture and customs, and on the region itself. He made us feel safe throughout the journey. He always checked on us to see how we were feeling, if we needed a break, etc. Bikash is our super porter! He would encourage us along the way, and give us some good advice. Thank you for carrying our belongings! The journey to and from Base Camp was challenging but super rewarding. We got to see some of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas while trekking in different environments, and appreciate some things that we would not usually think of. We did a sunrise hike to Kalapathar - and were rewarded with a magnificent sunrise and breathtaking views of the mountains including Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse. Reaching Base Camp was an accomplishment in itself, and it was fascinating to know that we were walking on a glacier! The tea houses were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatise properly (the hiking distance and time per day were reasonable and we got plenty of rest). Some tips for when you embark on this trek: bring light and warm clothing, rain gear, altitude sickness pills, sun protection, water purification/filters and body wipes (for when there is no running water). Make sure you take it slowly as altitude sickness is real. An awe-inspiring and unforgettable experience, I definitely recommend anyone to do this trek if they want a once in a lifetime experience.Written July 29, 2024
- rosargh0 contributionsAmazing Adventures in the HimalayasWe recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trekking tour (13 nights/14 days) with Ram as our guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. Ram's expertise and knowledge of the region were exceptional, providing us with invaluable insights and making us feel safe throughout the journey. The trek itself was challenging yet incredibly rewarding, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, glaciers and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching Base Camp. The tea houses were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatise properly. Our porter Bikash was fantastic and very helpful, always checking in on us and providing us with great tips. Some handy ideas on what to bring: light and warm clothing, rain gear, altitude sickness pills, sun protection, water purification/filters and body wipes (for when there’s no running water). I highly recommend this trekking tour for anyone looking to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.Written June 27, 2024
- Jet578433287890 contributionsI highly recommend Ramhari and his team The team has a servant's heart. Highly recommend! My Boyfriend and I recently did Mera Peak through Himalayan trekking Path and it was fantastic! Ramhari organized everything perfectly for us. He answered every question very quickly. Our guide Dendi was amazing and really went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and had a good trip. He was very experienced and kind, and we left as friends rather than customers after the trip. Parshu he is one of the toughest people I’ve ever seen in person. The porters are the ones who carry everything up the mountain He embraced the grind and I respect him for that. Good brother !!! Unluckily we didn't make summit due my health condition and bad weather, I got sick in hight camp isn't a perfect things during trekking. Ramhari arranged helicopter rescue and during recovery at the hospital in Kathmandu he and Dendi came to visit me to make sure my condition was good. I cannot say enough great things about Himalayan trekking path and their team in Nepal. If you are planning to go to Himalaya or Nepal, I highly recommend Ramhari and his team The team has a servant's heart. Highly recommend!Written May 27, 2024
- Rik K0 contributionsMost adventurous trip everUnforgettable most adventurous trip ever. We booked trip to Mera peak. Ramhari arranged everything excellent with the best guide & porter ever. Guide Dendi made our trip completely amazing with his experience and skills. Unfortunately we didn’t summit due to altitude sickness and weather conditions. Rescue was necessary, Ramhari and team arranged a helicopter to save my girlfriend from Khare at 4800 meter to a hospital in Kathmandu. It was really touching Ram & Dendi visited us at the hospital to make sure we are save and sound. Ramhari arranged a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant and a second farewell dinner at his home to show his cooking skills and meet his wonderful family. We will definitely choose Himalayan Trekking Path again when we come back to Nepal. Highly recommended!Written May 20, 2024
- 2101emilylm0 contributionsChitwan 3 Night SafariI recently booked and complete the Chitwan 3 night safari with Himalayan Trekking Path Company in May 2024. Prior to booking, I had searched the reviews for this company and found them to be extremely positive, which is why I booked the tour through them. I sent the company an email from their website to enquire, and within 7 minutes, Ram had contacted me directly on whatsapp in response. His communication through the weeks leading up to the tour, during, and afterwards has been impeccable and faultless. He goes above and beyond to help and to answer any queries and also helps with other unrelated questions I had. He was a pleasure to meet in person when I was picked up to go to the coach station. My experience with this company has been great, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. Thanks again.Written May 18, 2024
- Passenger274417759620 contributionsIncredible!! The BEST trek company for one of iconic treks of the world!!This world-class trek through the Everest region is absolutely breathtaking and awe-inspiring! There’s a spectacular vista and new encounter around every corner that’s even better than the last one, and yet this trek is so much more than the vistas. The Nepali mountain culture, history, and hospitality (in the village tea houses, as they’re called) and the Buddhist tradition that goes back many centuries were both highlights and captured our imaginations and attention as much as the beauty of the region. This is one of the iconic treks of the world, and it feels like it. The vistas of Everest from different vantage points never get old. And best of all, there are no cars or scooters to compete with - the area is still remote and relatively undeveloped. Outside of the helicopters for emergencies, all transportation is by human porters or caravans of livestock like mules and yaks. Ram and his team are incredibly professional and service-oriented and go out their way to make your trek memorable and joyful. We have only the best things to say about the entire team who supported us. Our guide Chandra and porter were the epitome of professional and dedicated to us and our needs for the entire 15-day trip. You can’t do better than Himalayan Trekking Path for this trek! One tip: It’s worth the extra two days to include the remote valley of Gokyo and hike Gokyo ri to see sunrise over Everest and then take the rugged and high Cho La pass over into the Khumbu valley. The Himalayan high country and passes will take your breath away! One warning: Even for two fit triathletes, we were challenged by the highest altitudes - do not underestimate the effect of high altitude (~18,000 ft at the highest point of the trek) on the body. Make sure you condition your body for the very high altitude in addition to cardio fitness, as even excellent sea level cardio fitness does not translate to altitude acclimatization or conditioning. Unless you have done lots of high altitude trekking and are comfortable with it, you should plan on bringing a prescription of diamox and being on it the entire time you’re in the Everest region.Written May 13, 2024
- joriskromhout0 contributionsSummit of Island PeakThe summit trip was very well organized. The communication was excellent in perfect English and the Sherpa guide was really experienced to help us with the summit. Prices were good, the equipement we got at Chukkung was perfect for the summit. I would definitely recommend this company if you want to summit Island Peak.Written May 8, 2024
- whereswallace250 contributionsTop-Notch Trekking Adventure with a Personal TouchMy partner and I recently returned from a breath-taking 15-day trek in the Everest region, covering Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, and ECB with Himalayan Trekking Path. Ram and his company made the logistics of the trip seamless and easy. Our knowledgeable guide, Chandra, took great care of us while on the trek. Along with our porter, the four of us became a tight-knit crew together for the 15 days trek. This is my second time in 1 year trekking with Himalayan Trekking Path (Manaslu last time). I highly recommend them for an intimate, personal experience in getting to know Nepal, its culture, and its beautiful mountains! They specialize in solo, couple, or small group travel and made both of us feel right at home and comfortable. We were well cared for and would absolutely come back! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-curated mountain trekking experience.Written May 4, 2024
- Climber158013330880 contributionsThanks to Himalayan Trekking PathI completed 10days Langtang Valley trek with Ramhari last month , the guide from Himalayan trekking path. This is my second time with him and the reason why I still choose his company is because he is a very friendly, easy going guy, he managed the last minute changed of the original plan according to my request and most important he offerred 10% off on my second visit 👍, I am 57 & I don't usually walk a lot before the trek, I did not get myself prepared enough but I still managed to complete the trek with my own sweet time, enjoying the flowers. Lastly, I shall come back again, join this company again. ThanksWritten May 3, 2024

We had the experience of a lifetime doing the Manaslu circuit trek with Himalayan Trekking Path. The trip was physically challenging but incredibly rewarding as an adventure and cultural experience. Ramhari and his team from Himalayan Trekking Path took excellent care of us from the moment we landed in Kathmandu until the drop off for our return flight. From the moment you get on the bus to the mountains you are immersed in Nepali culture. As we trekked from the lowlands to the highlands we experienced the changes in climate, landscape and culture. The teahouses that we stayed at were simple but comfortable family run places. Many had hot showers, internet and private rooms. Our guide Dendy and the porters Shiva, Suyang and Anu took excellent care of us. They helped us as we stumbled, they encouraged us when we were tired, they cooked special meals for us, they explained what we were seeing and they generally beat us at our nightly card games.
As we hiked up the paths and over the cable bridges that link the villages we encountered herders, mule trains, music playing incense burning Buddhist processions. We saw hawks and monkeys and goats, as well as cows yaks and mules. We visited temples and were invited to attend religious ceremonies. We came across humid forests at 2500m and hand tended fields. Everyday was a visual treat but also a physical challenge. We had all kinds of weather ranging from hot humid days, rain, sun to below zero temperatures. So it is important to be prepared for anything. We highly recommend doing this trek with Himalayan Trekking Path.
