          Gokyo Ri Trek
Suresh guided me through the Gokyo Lakes trek, over 5000m in altitude in the middle of winter! It was a great experience in off season with very few other trekkers completing the route. Suresh always made sure I was safe, had enough water, and was warm enough throughout the trip. Thank you Suresh!!!

          Kiwi's at Everest Basecamp
Thanks to our Sherpa Krishna we had the best experience. He took care of us & made sure we were good to hike everyday. He realized I needed a porter after reaching Namche & though it cost me - it was better in the long run because we were doing the EBC off peak season where it was still cold & the higher we got the harder it was for me to breathe. Tragically there were some deaths during our hike due to altitude sickness & even witnessed a group we met get evacuated from Gorak Shep. Krishna made the safe choice of us staying at Lobuche rather than moving ahead to Gorak Shep. We trekked to Basecamp from Lobuche and on our way back we had lunch at Gorak Shep. We skipped Kala Pathar because of bad weather but that was ok for us - we made it to Basecamp, we had the location all to ourselves and we were healthy to the end of our trip! So thank you Dill & Krishna for looking after us during our visit. I'll definitely go with Alpine Ramble again in the future for other tours in the future.

EBC - Fantastic trek, brilliant guide!
The trek was absolutely incredible. Tika my guide was amazing, knowledgable and friendly. He sorted everything out for me that I needed whilst trekking. Dil / Alpine Rambles we’re incredible also - ensuring my programme was bespoke and tailored to my needs. The porter Saman was amazing as well!

          EBC trek with Samir
Prior to the trip, communication with Dil via email was very good. Samir was our guide. He was extremely kind and attentive during our EBC trek. My partner got mild altitude sickness and he knew exactly what to do to make it better (and keep me calm)! He took care of all of our accomodation and food and made us a yummy fruit dessert each night. He always let us go at our own pace and take breaks. We are both very grateful to Samir for our successful trip to base camp and would use alpine ramble again if returning to Nepal.

          Brilliant EBC trek with Samir
Samir hosted my partner and I on our trek up to EBC. Samir was much more than just a guide, helping us not only with the path, but also food, accomodation, information about Nepal and the Himalayas, and medical support when needed. Had a fantastic experience on the mountain thanks to him and Alpine Ramble, would recommend this group to my friends

          EBC trek 2024
I had a EBC trip (Feb-23) with Alpine Ramble Trek, they allotted guide Krishna, who is very informative and did all the required emergency courses, his knowledge helped me to fulfil my EBC dream, at peak I had issues with SP02 levels, but he responded pretty quick and helped me. Big thanks to Krishna and Alpine team.

Amazing Everest Panorama Trek with Tilak
My Everest Panorama Trek with Tilak was amazing! I can recommend Alpine Ramble and especially my guide Tilak to everyone! He customized my itinerary on the way so that it fits perfectly to my conditions and so that I can see as much as possible. It’s incredible how much effort he put into being there for his clients. He was always trying to make me as happy as possible and was asking whether we should adjust the itinerary or what I want to see. Also, he always explained me the cultural background when we visited small mountain villages or monasteries. I will definitely go next year again trekking with Alpine Ramble and Tilak in the Himalaya.

          The most incredible 10 days!
I don’t even know where to start. I feel so overwhelmed and my heart is so full right now. Alpine Ramble is an amazing company and I cannot recommend them enough. I did the 10 day Gokyo Ri Trek. I am so grateful to my “mountain Dad”, guide Ram, who made me feel extremely safe and welcome as a female solo traveller. He worked tirelessly to ensure that I was comfortable and having a good experience on the trek. Dil, the owner of the company, was fabulous at communicating and the company driver, Kumar, was also super lovely. I 100% will be back in Nepal and will go with Alpine Ramble again. Thank you ever so much - you’re all absolutely wonderful!

          12 Day EBC trek
We have only great things to say about this trekking company! From when we first started planning our trek, Dil was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to all our questions. When we flew into Kathmandu everything was so organized and smooth from the airport pick up to hotel stay and into our next flight. Dil provided us with the best and warmest gear for our trek. Our guide Prim exceeded all our expectations, from day one we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have him as our guide. He was more than just our guide, he took care of us, made sure we had the best accommodations, ate the best meals. He really treated us like family always checking in on our health. We gave Prim many names during this this trip, Uncle Prim, Doctor Prim, Mountain Prim. This trek was very challenging and we honestly owe all our success and enjoyment to him. Last but not least our porter, Cheshing was not only exceptionally strong but also a greatly added enjoyment to our trip. He was always had such a positive attitude and was so helpful! We highly recommend Alpine Ramble treks and especially Prim for your trekking in Nepal!

Everest base camp - A trek I will forever remember
We have recently completed the Everest base camp 9 day trek with Alpine Ramble. We would like to say a massive thank you to our guide Suresh for all the support and help he gave us while trekking to Everest base camp. It was the most wonderful experience and this was enhanced greatly by our wonderful guide and porter that we pre booked before the trip. Our guide was highly knowledgeable on how to keep us safe and made constant checks on us especially on myself, as I struggled when it got really cold. Since we were completing the trek without any acclimatization days our main concern was to not fall ill and get altitude sickness. Our guide made constant checks on us and regularly checked our oxygen levels. Dill, the manager of Alpine Ramble was also at hand and we had good communication with him before the trip, during the trek and after. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to do Everest Base Camp to book through Alpine Ramble and you won't be disappointed.

We had an incredible time doing the three passes trek with alpine ramble. We let Dil know our dates and he organised everything form there. He made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The trek was unbelievable and we had a fantastic guide, Dorje Sherpa. I would highly recommend Alpine ramble, they are a great team and I will definitely use them when we return to Nepal.

          The Gold Standard of Trekking
Very professional service with excellent staff! Our guide Dilman was superb and a blast to be around. Our guides Suk and Dawa were great and very friendly. If you’re trekking to EBC, this is the outfitter you have to use.

Alpine Ramble trekking company is definitely the best service provider with wonderful hospitality, adapting to our requirements, supportive guide and porter throughout the trek. The trek company CEO Dil gurung was kind enough to answer all my doubts and questions with patience at any time. We have trekked to annapurna basecamp during october 2nd to october 11th and mr. Dil gurung has welcomed us and took care of us in the best possible way till we departed from kathmandu. Our porter Bir and our guide has been the most humble helpful and very caring through the trek and i can definitely say that this trek provider is definitely the best and different from the other providers i have come across in that trek. Though it rained excessively for two days on the trek, the guide and porter took care of us very well and ensured our safety. If it comes to trekking in nepal again, it will be definitely be ALPINE RAMBLE trekking company for me!! Go for it without a doubt!!

I had an amazing ABC trek with Alpine Ramble's team. Dil knows a thing or two about hospitality. As soon as I landed in Kathmandu, I was greeted by his team at the airport, and all the arrangements were taken care of. The best part was that he had built in flexibility into the itinerary. I wanted to spend an extra day at Pokhara, and Dil was more than happy to adjust everything, including air tickets, without any extra charges.
The best part of this travel was Ayush (my guide) and Shangila (my porter). They were very professional and accommodating right from the beginning. The trek from Ghandruk to Choomrong on day 1 was hard, given the uphill but Ayush was always there motivating and kept me going. When I was at Himalaya and was struggling to push to MBC, Shangila was gracious to pick up my shoulder bag and both of them kept encouraging me. It was amazing to finally reach ABC. The team not only knew the terrain but was very patient with an inexperienced trekker like me. I stopped at many places to take pics and videos and they never hurried. They made sure we had the best service at the tea houses and always made sure I got proper food and rest.
If you are considering doing the ABC trek, you must check out Alpine Rambles. The best people in the business with an amazing friendly attitude.

We came to Nepal to trek the Annapurna circuit in about 10 days and Alpine Ramble went above and beyond to help us achieve this! They were fantastic at organising all required documents for trekking, made sure we had the necessary gear, picked us up at the airport and were always available via WhatsApp when we needed assistance. There was even a point during our trek where one member of the group became too sick to continue and Alpine Ramble was on top of the rescue immediately. They organised a helicopter evacuation through the insurance company and were personally on the helicopter to make sure the member of our group was properly taken care of. Nepal is an amazing place with so much to see and Alpine Ramble will always be our go to trekking company for safely experiencing all this amazing country has to offer!

I did the ABC trek with Alpine Ramble in June 2022. I had originally planned to do the Everest Base Camp trek, however, there were flight issues with Lukla and Alpine Ramble seamlessly helped to change my schedule to ABC.

The trek was great, Laxman was a fantastic guide and Deb a great porter. They both offered 5* service and ensured my trip was as good as it can be. I highly recommend Laxman’s services as a guide.

Overall the trip was amazing, and I would thoroughly recommend booking through Alpine Ramble as they are honest, trustworthy and will ensure you have the best trip. Thanks again Alpine Ramble!

Brilliant trek- amazing views and great scenery! Guide (laichman) was extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs from the start. Also very informative and was very happy to adapt the trip when asked! The porters were very smiley and helpful aswell! Dil was also brilliant at organising the trek and very patient, despite us changing it multiple times due to work commitments.

        Would definitely highly recommend !!!

Doing the ABC trek was one of the most exciting and difficult things I have ever done. I was initially very intimidated because of how high and remote everything seemed. However, from the start I was given a lot of support and guidance from Dil and his company. Dil and my guide Tilak came and met me at a cafe where they gave me a ceremonial welcome before the start of the trip. Even before the trip, Dil worked very hard to make sure that all matter prior to the trek were settled.

When the trek started I really felt that they did a great job at making transportation and other non trekking mattes as efficient and seamless as possible. They handled food and communication with locals before the trek and throughout.

During the trek, I was so grateful to be in company with Tilak as my guide. Our relationship felt very much like big and little brother , or in nepalese language Dai and Bhai. He was constantly encouraging me and helping me through all the difficult parts in the trek. He also knew so much about the surrounding culture and history of the area. I didn't expect to learn so much in that regard. Beyond that his energy and constant positivity was unmatched. He also makes a very good pizza! I know that if I was to do another trek I would definitely request Tilak again :).

My porter, Bhim was also extremely helpful and I know I couldn't have done the trip without him either. He was constantly helping me with the little things and even when I felt under the weather he would bring me warm water and other things to help. He was also very social and I really appreciated being able to talk to him during the entirety of the tip.

While the views were unmatched and the adventure was great, I really felt that my favorite part of this trek was the bond and memories I made with my guide Tilak and porter Bhim. I am really sad that it is over but know that our friendship will continue after this trip. The other thing I really wanted to emphasize was how open to communication and willing to meet in person the owner Dil was. I know it must be extremely busy to run a company and i'm just really grateful for the time he made for me.

I will definitely be coming back to Alpine Ramble for trekking in the future! Dhanyabad!!!!!

I booked my Annapurna base camp trek though WhatsApp with the owner Dil and he was immediately so friendly and welcoming and helped me organise the whole thing, arriving in Nepal I was also greeted by the team and the hotel, breakfast and transportation to Pokhara was already organised. All trekking passes were already organised as-well. Dil was incredibly thorough explaining the tour and everything it included and also suggested ways to spend my time in Nepal. My trekking guide Ayush was so amazing, so kind and knowledgeable. He always ensured I was taken care of and feeling well and his time management was great ensuring we left and arrived at each destination on time. He constantly checked on my health and went above and beyond to assure I was comfortable along the trek. The guides carry so much medicine for any sickness you may be experiencing. I travelled solo as a 21 yr old woman and I felt so safe every single second of this experience and I have Ayush, Dil and the alpine ramble team to thank for that, my trip would not have been the same without them. The Annapurna base camp was such an incredible experience and one I will remember forever.

I had such a great experience trekking with Alpine Ramble! The organizer was so flexible to change the plan according to our wishes and it was really amazing. They picked us up in the airport, helped us buying the needed equipment and made us feel really comfortable before the trek. The trekking guide, Krishna, was really good at reading our mood and giving us snickers when needed haha. Overall it was such a great and professional experience! I would really recommend booking with this company.

I highly recommend this company. Comms with Dil when arranging the trek were first class, despite me changing the itinery many times regarding trek duration, transfers and bolt ons either end of the trek. Dil always responded very promptly. The trek leader Laichman ( pronounced Laxman ) was great. Very helpful and patient and was ably supported by 2 very conscientious porters. We even altered the itinery during the trek having descended from ABC quicker than expected, allowing an extra day in Pokhara. This was all handled very professionally. As expected accomodation in some lodges was a bit basic but this is the norm.

This tour was more than i could ever ask for ! Alphine treks was absolutely incredible, from meeting with us before our tour started at our hotel to inform us of the tour, following up on us throughout and taking us to a celebratory dinner at the end in Katmandu. Owner Dil was incredibly kind, I had a sore ankle from the trek and he phoned to check up on me and even organised a jeep for us on the last day so that I did not have to walk all the way downhill. Our tour guide Laxman went above and beyond for us, from buying us bananas for the bus trip, to giving us snickers and Oreos for dessert, never rushing us and even giving us hot water on the mountain for a shower. As three girls on the trek, we felt so taken care of and loved and Laxman treated us like his daughters. We had a porter Dil as well who offered to carry my bag when my leg was hurting and carried my friends bag as well on the uphill when she was feeling unwell. Alphine treks was so kind and gave us the most unforgettable experience in Nepal. I couldn’t recommend them more and their kind hospitality
