What to Expect

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Thrill Nepal's representative will pick you up at the airport and then you can check in to a hotel in Kathmandu. After freshening yourself up, there will be a briefing about the cycling tour. Then, you overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Thankot - Chitlang (3 hour ride)

There will be an early morning transfer to a domestic airport for a mountain flight to encounter the breathtaking view of Mount Everest and other mountains from the flight (optional). After breakfast, you will ride toward Chitlang organic village. It is located in the southwestern part of Kathmandu. You will start riding from Thankot and it goes through a lush green forest and passes through Chandragiri Pass (2,250 meters). Then, the trail heads downhill and reaches the unique village called Chitlang.

Chitlang is a unique ancient settlement and centuries-old village reflecting the ancient history, art, and culture through the art, craft, custom, and culture. Before the road construction in Nepal, there used to be a big trail way coming to Kathmandu Valley from the south bringing stuff and commodities carried by donkey, horse, and man.

Day 3: Chitlang - Indrasarobar Lake (one hour)

After breakfast, you will hike toward the village and explore the different culture, cuisine, and drink. You will also go to cheese making and winemaking factories. After lunch, you will be cycling down toward Indrasarobar Lake to enjoy boating and have a relaxing evening with a fish barbecue. Indrasarobar Lake is the largest human made lake in Nepal. You can explore the lake and dam side which is a good place to try some cuisine (the local fish).

Day 4: Indrasarobar Lake - Daman - Kathmandu .(3-4) Hrs ride

After breakfast and sunrise on the lake, you can walk around the area. Then, you will start Biking towards Daman which offers one of the scenic beauty of Himalayas. . After that, Overnight at Hotel at Daman.

Day 5:Daman to Kathmandu.(3-4 hrs ride)

After breakfast we will proceed towards Kathmandu and the highway offers beautiful lifestyle of villagers ans scenic beauty of green hills and snow-capped mountains.

Day 6:Departure.
