- dennispalit960 contributionsA Great Langtang Valley experienceIt was a terrific experience! I went once last year and i decided to do it again with the same company and they did not disappoint. Ganesh was my guide this time, and he was as helpful as can be. Will definitely engage them again for future treks :)Written December 13, 2024
- morgank3120 contributionsYou will be in great hands! Warm and professional agency to see Nepal’s breathtaking beautyHighly recommended tour and trekking company! Mr. Mani and his friendly and helpful staff took care of everything, from a warm welcome at the airport and support providing, buying or renting needed supplies, to giving me a great local guide who knew the region well and meeting me afterwards. I did not have much of a plan when arriving to Kathmandu, and Mr Mani took great care to explain my options and link me with a great experience in very short notice. I enjoyed an amazing heli ride, 10-day trek to EBC, and a flight back to Kathmandu. I am very satisfied with the professional services and the special memories I made thanks to The Great Adventure. Will return when I can!Written December 10, 2024

- annabeltien0 contributionsA good Guide can make your trekking wonderfulOur trip is 19 Days EBC + Gokyo Lake via Chola Pass, and Our guide is Ram Timalsina. Ram is a very senior, responsible and considerate guide with 21 years of guiding experience in Everest area in both Nepal and Tibet side. This is my 1st time to trek over 4000M altitude. Not only moved very slowly due to the thinner Oxygen but also got tired easily. However Ram always walks behind me and watch every step for me. While there are diffcult & steep path, Ram always assist me to safely pass through which really A BIG HAND of me. With his thoightful careness, our trekking are full of joy and happiness. Ram is also rich of In-depth knowledge of all things in the area. We learmed a lot from him. We are very satisfied and very appreciate his service. Do ighly recommend Guide Ram if you plan to trek in NepalWritten November 17, 2024

We had so many dramas from the start due to cancellation of our flight to/from Lukla airport. Despite all ordeals, Mr. Mani, our guide Pasang and our porter Lok did all their best to make our journey possible. As usual, Mr. Mani looked after me from the start to the end of my stay in Nepal beyond my trekking period. On the trek, Pasang was an hero. We had to change our itinerary 4 times to meet everybody’s needs and wants. Pasang handled all the situations looked so smoothly but I know how much efforts he put to make things happen. Temples are many, many, many, many, eat mainly Western food, Nepalese meals are different side dishes of hand-grab rice, locals are kinder, kinder, transport base is poor, 5.6 months is hotter, others can adapt. Three people chartered buses and guided tours in the city for two days, a total of 1,500 yuan, which is reasonable. it.was.wounderful trip

Nepal is a country with rich history and culture. Here is a suggested itinerary for a one-day tour in Kathmandu:
- Morning: Visit the iconic Durbar Square in Kathmandu and admire the ancient temples, exquisite sculptures and traditional architectural style. You can stroll around the square, feel the local cultural atmosphere, and take photos.
- Noon: Taste local specialties such as kebabs, curry noodles, etc. in restaurants near Durbar Square. If you have enough time, you can go to Thamel Street, where there are various specialties, souvenirs, cafes and restaurants.
- Afternoon: Go to the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest circular stupas in the world and a holy place for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. You can follow the crowd to circumambulate the stupa and feel the solemnity and tranquility of religion. Afterwards, you can find a cafe to sit down and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The Kathmandu itinerary they arranged was very good. When communicating about the itinerary on WhatsApp, he responded quickly to me and arranged a good itinerary. These four days were very fun.
The location and staff of the hotel are also very nice. It's quiet at night. I forgot something I left at the hotel, but they kept it for me. There are many restaurants and shops around.
Because I was not feeling well for the first two days, the tour guide was very concerned about my physical condition, and I am very grateful to him.
Thank you.

We originally wanted to travel independently, but then we saw a Taiwanese tourist recommending Mr. Mani on the backpacker website. I added his line through his business card. The boss was very nice. After we informed him of the attractions we wanted to visit, He can arrange the itinerary quickly, and if you have any questions, you can ask them immediately. He replies quickly and picks you up at the airport in person. He has no airs like a boss at all. Next time I go to Nepal, I will come to Mani to arrange it (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛ ⁎ )

I had the best experience with this team. They offered hotel transfer which is so convenient since it’s my first time in Kathmandu. Their tour excursions were the best value of money for a private tour. The hotel itself was cozy and stylish. They have variety of food in breakfast. The hotel staff are accommodating and hospitable.
I will surely comeback to this hotel!
Thank you great adventure team for hospitality and great service!

This is my second time engaging with The Great Adventure. I was with them by group tour to Pokhara back in Jun 2023.
Pokhara is good for relaxing, outdoor activities & sunrise.
I have asked many question to Mani before confirming my tour with them and he is patience with me. He gives me time to think what I want to do/how my tour going to be and flexible to customise as per my liking/request.
I am back to The Great Adventure for my solo trip for kathmandu world heritage tour in Nov 24. The guide is professional in explaining & answering my questions. The car transport is definitely better than street taxi. They will accommodate my request & provide professional recommendation. With The Great Aventures, I feel safe even though I am travelling solo. He also makes sure I reach back my home country safely. Thank you for warm hospitality & services. The business owner & guide is very friendly, I feel they treat me as friend than customer. This made Nepal to be my fav country to re-visit. Hope to come back again soon for hiking/trekking tour.

On June 29, 2024, my friend and I went on a one-day tour to Kathmandu. The guide, Xiaoguo (Mud Nepali name Govinda Lamichhane), took us on a tour of 5 attractions: Monkey Temple, Paspatina, Big Pagoda, Patan Square and Kathmandu Drug Bar Square. The guide, Xiaoguo, was fluent in Chinese, very detailed, amiable and attentive. I also learned later that he was still a yoga teacher and looked forward to seeing him again next time I came to Mudpool. Tourists wishing to visit Mudpool asked him to be their guide.

The Great Adventure Treks & Expedition helped me find a tour guide who was proficient in the history, culture and architecture of Nepal. He was also very knowledgeable in Buddhism. He could also speak Chinese, English and Japanese and introduced us to Patan and Bhaktapur and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The various world heritage sites in Kathmandu gave us a lot of knowledge and understanding of Nepali culture. It was really a worthwhile trip. Thanks The Great Adventure Treks &Expedition!
