We got great advice for our trecking trip. The visit of Pokara and Bandipur was also really good and the trip to the Chitwan National Park is definitly recommendable even though it was rainingseason.

Durga, the Tour Leader curated a fantastic tour experience for my family and I when we visited Nepal a few days ago. Straight from the airport we were welcomed with a big smile and flowers, along with his lovely wife Rashmi. The itinerary was very flexible, we had a group of 7, all of different ages so we wanted to pursue different adventures. The itinerary was comprehensive with many unique experiences. We also tried the best restaurant in Kathmandu, Yala Cafe. Durga have plenty of other good food recommendations as well. The hotel organised by Mount Trails was exceptional. Durga and Rashmi went above and beyond and organised an impromptu food and shopping tour during our free time on the last day. We treated by the tour operator as members of family. It was a very wholesome experience. Having done multiple tours in different part of the world, this was certainly the most accomodating and flexible. Did the Mardi Himal Trek, which was a great experience. Durga met us for a brieding and afterwards for a debrief. I would not have made it to the top without Chuda, our guide, who had a great attitude and looked to our every need....and the views were magnificent.

I travelled to chitwan and phokara with my dad by bus. We spend 2 days in chitwan and 1.5 day in phokara. I wish i could have stayed one more day in each place. It was also very hot so i was really gratefull for the pool at the hotel. Durga was helping and advising us in every situation. When we had a question, i was texing him and soon i had an answer. Everything was organized so someone picked us up from the bus station everytime. Everyone was really friendly and was organizing the day for us.

My friend and I chose to trek and enjoyed the 8 day Langtang valley trek with Mount Trails. We made the right choice choosing Mount Trails for our trekking. Durga and Mount Trails delivered again! I trekked with them 5 years ago, and they were fantastic once again. We did the 12 day Gokyo Ri & Renjo La trek, which was absolutely incredible. The word epic gets used a lot, but that is the only way to describe the views, especially up at Gokyo Ri at 5360m. Watching sunset on Everest, the last rays of light hitting the top of the world, was an experience I will never forget. Both Durga and our guide Hem were magnificent from the start. I only booked the holiday 6 days in advance, and Durga was on hand every day to help us choose a trek that was a good balance of adventure without taking any risks regarding altitude sickness and not trying to squeeze in too much too quickly. On the trek, our guide Hem was incredible fun and supportive. This trek is quite hard, but entirely doable at a comfortable pace. It is not so hard on your legs, but the altitude is hard on your lungs. Hem was fantastic at keeping us going at slow pace so we didn't ascend too quickly, and he reassured us when headaches came. Hem also adjusted our itinerary once he realised I was a photographer, as he said the sunset views from Gokyo Ri had better light than sunrise, which was a fantastic decision. Also, their Hotel Yala Peak is great value in a great location, and Yala cafe downstairs does brilliant coffee and food. I just can't recommend them enough. I will go back to Nepal a lot, and I will be using these guys again for sure!

Outstanding experience. On my 8th visit to Nepal spanning 35 years, I have come to rely on Durga at Mount Trails for his expertise in planning and organizing the highest quality treks. His service and attention to detail is excellent and he is friendly and reputable. The trek up and over Larkya La Pass was excellent with significantly less trekkers than Annapurna or Everest Base Camp. But the side trip to Tsum Valley was the highlight. More like Tibet than Tibet as Nepal accepts them and their culture. Durga's Yala Peak Hotel and Cafe provide a comfortable accommodation and delicious meals before and after your trek.

We booked a trip through Mr. Durga to Nagarkot from Thamel, and had a really nice trip! We stayed at a lovely hotel with great views over the Himalayas, which was breathtaking. Mr.Durga was really helpful and listened to our wishes.
